Well done to you both on a productive session. 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣👏👏👏 A very enjoyable and informative video.😃🧑🎓 Thanks for sharing.👍👍👍 Take care and stay safe.😷🙊
Another cracking edit, you guys are on fire, thanks for taking the time to video your trip and share it, much appreciated, great to watch top end anglers go about there business, keep the videos coming please.
Thanks for the video and showing the lite in action 👍, we fish those beach a couple times a year in the euro and then the Diawa open if we can, really nice fish you had and great baits, good job keep them coming, Happy New Year 🎉
As they are similar prices what rod would you prefer for clear ground also are there any options on rings for spool reels and multiplier reels. .... great videos keep pumping them out. ......
Yes mate has to be the X-GT14 for the cleaner ground, 6oz is the best lead to cast and it’ll sit in tide lovely. Yes if you message the Facebook page Jay will tailor the rod to your needs.
Hey mate, still trying to figure that one out. I know smaller tides are best because on the big tides the weed gets dragged out the Humber and makes the beaches close to the Humber unfishable. I like the ebb but I’ve heard some say flood. So I’m not too sure. The ebb has definitely been better to me tho
I got measured on the field with bait, 6oz lead and mono (I’m a braid user so it was a bit weird) and it was 158m. So maybe a little bit further some casts or a little bit shorter.
Thank you mate!! I’ve got 2 shimano techniums mgs 10000 and I’ve also got the new shimano ultegra 14000 XSE. Really nice reels loaded with 30lb sea knight braid and 100lb shock leader.
Great content lads, and a very enjoyable watch. Those cliffs look bad enough to come down, can't imagine the return climb back up. Did you bring your black lug with you, or did you get it local to that area. Cheers.
Thank you mate appreciate it! Haha the climb down was actually worse because we were lazy we just sat down and slid 😂 Yes mate we brought our live blacks and yellows with us. Bought from the Zulcron Sports shop in Hartlepool
Two very different rods, the XT Lite (C Curve) can be used in rough to mixed ground still and handle it no problem. Brilliant rods. The XGT14 (J Curve) is mainly for cleaner ground it’s a much lighter rod in all aspects! Also brilliant rod. Depends what you’d be using them for mate. Rods are all personal preference as you know.

Excellent video. What would you say are the average distances you cast?
I got measured on the field with bait, 6oz lead and mono (I’m a braid user so it was a bit weird) and it was 158m. So maybe a little bit further some casts or a little bit shorter.

Stuart, can i ask your honest view regarding the xt 435 lite that is a C curve and the xgti4 that is a J curve
