    Mr. Wilder and Mr. Pryor were, in my opinion, one of the funniest comedy duos ever. They just seemed to have the right magic between them.

      These guys go down with legends- laurel & hardy, Gleason & Carney, Abbot & Costello, & of course Pryor & Wilder. Funny thing is most of the films as a whole weren’t that good but their chemistry made even a bad film worth watching.

    Gene and Richard created comedy magic together. I never laughed so hard than I did during 'Hear No Evil, See No Evil'. I miss them both.

      Yes i definitely agree,they definitely created comedy magic in all their movies together. One of the prime examples is the bathroom scene in Silver streak!

    Gene once said that he and Pryor were not good friends off screen the way most people thought, despite their great chemistry on screen. Their collaboration on screen was some of the best. RIP Richard Pryor

    The two of them are brilliant, Some of the best comedy films I've seen consists of them both, I've literally been in tears with them because their that funny.
    Im only 23, I didn't grow up watching them but I wish I I did, Ive saw more than enough of their films to know they truly were amazing actors and will be missed by millions.

    Gene and Pryor were a great team! loved these guys acting together. Pryor was a comedic genius who had a sad personal life, but shined on camera! RIP

      Used to like blue streak but Martin Lawrence tries too hard to be funny, he should have relaxed more and that film will never be Beverly Hills cop in my opinion. Silver Streak was excellent.

    The first time I ever heard of Gene Wilder was in the 70's . We saw him in the movie Young Frankenstein . Always enjoyed every thing he was in !

    I don't like old movies but Gêne Wilder sure knew how to make us laugh over and over again and than the chemistry between him and Richard was hilarious. Too bad they didnt made more movies together because they where a very good comedy duo. R.i.P Gêne Wilder.

    brilliant advice for young actors, sometimes you need to let go of the ego, and if someone says a fantastic line when improvising, say the most natural mundane thing to help bring that line out...don't kill the idea, don't try to top the idea!

      Great advice. I see this often in office work with guys also. Too many try to be the funny dude, but then, someone else tries to outdo him. Instead of outdoing the other guy, just let him roll and say something that compliments his his remark, not degrade it.

    They were AWESOME together. We watched Stir Crazy with our kids two weeks ago and they loved and laughed throughout the whole movie.
    That is one of my top 15 movies of all time

    I was born on Gene's birthday and he has always been one of my favourite comedians regardless of that fact. Richard Pryor also sits amongst the Gods of Comedy.

    Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor definitely made each other better actors, comedians and ultimately better people in general. His interview highlights the incredible chemistry and undeniable humor that existed between these two genius legends. These men had tremendous passion for their crafts and it naturally comes across in each of their performances, always complimenting each other’s talents! Insanely gifted human beings who will be cherished and missed.

    the scenes in stir crazy where gene is laughing clearly at pryors antics, but incorporates the laughter into the character instead, like some sort of nervous tick is just genious. one of my all tme favorite movies

    What a great comedian. I miss him immensely. Terry Garr was interviewed several years back and said he was the worst person to work with that he was very mean. Hard to believe but she was dead serious. Maybe she had the attitude.
