I wouldn't worry too much about the extra effort if you just want to move a basket man. The sleeve for the hole 12 pin location can be left there, and additional sleeves are cheap. Plus, the course will have even more value added for the local community if a lot of the holes have A and B pins that the course managers can move periodically!
I agree 3 pins and maybe 2 teepad locations for every hole can turn a single course into 6 very different layouts. Those are my favorite courses to play. Simon could also make a 9 hole layout that goes 1-8 and then 18 for the last hole since their teepads are so close to one another.
It's really funny actually. While I don't want to downplay the pros and their hardwork, I think there is somewhat of an innate ability to throw a disc for some people. Like I played ball sports for my entire life. Was a high school pitcher and our quarterback and had numerous D3 offers in basketball. Yet I've been playing disc golf on and off for nearly 8 years, playing 5-6 days a week for the last 2 years, and I still struggle to hit the some of the larger gaps. Sure, I'm getting better. But to me it's just awe inspiring how good some of these pros are

Please, if you can.. at some point, Return to "Harmony Bends" area.. bring your Crew! Ever Heard of Holts Summit Course? Tightly Wooded, 2 Water Throws, (that I can reach at 55 yo)... Zero Problem. I Need to be on your Card Someday Brother!!!! You would love this one! (there are two par 5's i have Eagled)
Simon, I've played a couple courses that had 2-3 alternate basket placements that could be changed periodically. That might be a good way to "move" a couple baskets to allow some change-up without putting the prior efforts to waste. Looks amazing!
The Longford Park course in Manchester, England, has a hole where the basket is in the middle of 6 foot + tall standing stones. It's looks just like an ancient neolithic stone circle. One of the course designers told me it actually lines up with the sun at dawn on midsummer's day. (And some local druids once asked if the basket could be moved that day for them to hold a ceremony)
I really like that area. there you can plan temporary fairways for a world-class tournament, for example. once a year for five days playable pro+ 18 fairways :)
Best part about being unsubscribed from the channel is you never know when there's a new upload and you can check every now and then. Sometimes there's a couple.
Hope 12 would be sweet if the left most gap tree was gone, enticing a big RHBH anny and giving the Lefties a break with big Hyzer shot. Great course overall!
What do you think of making round chains with a square basket? I feel it would make putting tougher and give the disc golfer a different aiming point based on the angle of the putt.
Hey Simon, as someone who has been injured a bunch on pro tours, what would you say is the most important exercise or thing you do to keep your body in shape for discing? I am returning from a few years not playing and the muscle memory is still there but the muscles and strength are not. P.S. love the course by the way!
If you need some help with the design, Simon, give me a call. I only designed ONE course and that was almost 30 years ago. It's still rated #3 in California on Udisc AND Disc Golf Scene. (learned the craft from Leonard Muise in the early 90s)
Sleeves are cheap and easy to install - although some of the baskets appear to have mounds of cement around the pole base - not sure what's up with that.
Really tall grass like that always makes me worry about snakes. I don't know if they're just not as common where you are, but where I live, there would absolutely be snakes in there

My local park course has 4+ pin locations on every hole doing exactly what you said. It's pretty awesome.
Variety as a design 👍🏻👍🏻
If it’s a traveling pin. It’ll definitely need some kind of indication on the tee sign, and u disc. Otherwise permanent is better

Simon not getting how hard it is to control your speed as an am when trying to hit certain gaps is so funny
It’s just a part of disc golf growth my brother
i can throw many shots but 60m straight is impossibleXD

@@vennauer True, the only correlation I have found is that tennis players who used to hit a one-handed backhand crush on the disc golf course.
Can't wait for y'all to check this course out! Absolute gem of a property!!! See y'all August 17th 😉
Good job filming with the camera, I hope Simon keeps bringing you. Fun to watch both of you.
3:17 might just be the best promo for a disc I have ever seen 😂 course looks great, hope to get out there some day!
Hummingbird ace seals the sales pitch!!! Epic
Whoever cleaned this course up did an amazing job!
2 videos in one week? I must be dreaming! Thank you simon!
Simon, you're my hero. Thank you for everything you do. Thank you for what you do for Disc Golf.
Simon telling the disc to “go in” on the hole with the stake got me😂
That eagle on 18 rocked! (Get it? Rock/boulder? Ha!)
I think simon has the right mindset to make proper courses
Simon saying "hell yeah" @ 23:21 would have been my text notification 15 years ago.
What a sales pitch for the hummingbird tesla!
I am very impressed with the spin on that hummingbird to keep it on a straight power line for the ace. GG!
Can’t wait to get back out there.
Love being so close.
Oh yeah , Congratulations Simon !! On the new course 😅 absolutely love the variety of the holes love and greetings from The Netherlands 🇳🇱
That course is coming along great, wow, congrats!!!
every Simon video is good
Need more Simon and Casey courses
Congratulations!
I always love your videos Simon I am so grateful to be living in the same time period as you.

Simon wears black a lot but I think white is just the best for him, especially since he’s always throwing his black and white delirium.
He has definitely upped his shirt game lately!

Would love to see a vid of Simon, Eagle and James doing a round together at this course!
Would love to play this course!
I have never wanted to play a course so badly… ROAD TRIP 💪🏽
Beautiful course sir! Love to see the growth of the game..
Absolutely amazing round by both of you guys!
when does that hat drop??
Love the hummingbird tesla. I wish there were hanging baskets on the pro tour they look great on this course.
Nice course. I do enjoy the par 5 with the rock. Well done sir.
Ben is like : you said !! that’s the intended gap 😂 nearly pissed myself 🤣
Added to my list. One day… Maple Hill and this place for sure.
Sick course man. I love the pine henge idea and look forward to seeing it.
Simon nice course hole 18 pretty cool
Pinehendge is an awesome feature. Quarry at Augusta Disc golf here in Maine has one and it's pretty sweet.

I don't even play Discgolf alot. Mostly just when I travel around the country :D But building a course seems like the most thing! :D
5:55 that's the perfect response
Definitely taking the trip from new Bedford to play this one. Can't wait to try it
If I can afford the plane tickets, I will absolutely be there! Coming from NC!
Hole 18's basket should be right om top of that boulder it's such a beautiful natural obstacle
I really like that area. there you can plan temporary fairways for a world-class tournament, for example. once a year for five days playable pro+ 18 fairways :)
Love the new course, can wait to play it
Nice ace Mr Simon!
Looks fun
Simon resembling Scott Stolely more and more every day. 😂
That "Phission Proxy Putter Providing Phree Parking" disc with the P on it has the glide you're looking for.

@simon_lizotte.....i if my own child wore a mask in a thumbnail I would also unsubscribe from them. Don't take it personally.
you da man simon, ill try to make it on opening day, I live 10 min from borderlands.
Can’t wait to check it out
Looks sweet!
Hope 12 would be sweet if the left most gap tree was gone, enticing a big RHBH anny and giving the Lefties a break with big Hyzer shot. Great course overall!
I hope to one day play one of your layouts. Keeping my fingers crossed that you and Avery team up for a course here in Oklahoma. Good luck in Europe!
Super cool to have a par 63 course at mile marker 63
We actually have a woodhenge hole in the UK at Quarry Park!
2:27 is crazy 😅😅😅
Hole 10? 👍🏼 Always enjoy your videos!
we want more Ben!
Careful, people who make multiple appearances in Simon's videos, they usually end up on the pro tour haha
Hole 18 truly do look ICONIC👅 you're a beast. I'd love to come play the course with you sometime.
Man really said "Hummingbird promo right here" and drains it! 🤣🤣
Brookfields/Warren Best DiscGolf in MA!
Mike Marker, Oakholm, 501, Crooked Birch, Crane Hill & MtSide!
Simon please let me show you around some of the local courses when you're up here for dglo this year!

Awesome sauce. Cheers
Hole 12, you should take that early tree out. It could possibly be unsafe in the future and more costly to take down aswell
Wish I could play that course. 😊
i'd love to see you and casey play the bogey bros on this course. would be an awesome showcase for it.

Love how simon doesnt even use a full reach back to huck a putter about as far as my drives. Love it. Super cool simon, not a dick move at all.
Dang looks awesome
Simon, big fan, bring us SimonLine in Eclipse Plastic yeah? 💸
MORE BEN MORE BEN
The pine will rot, but it will last 3-5 years. Great for woodpeckers
Nice
Simon…your fly’s down
Put one of the first 4 completely in the woods
It will help change the other 3
5:25 take the tree down, it would be so sick to have those 5 trees in a row creating 4 equal gaps. You gotta do it
Sick
I commented Way too Early!! Nice Ace Bro!!!!!
I wonder if Axiom or MVP can make the outer rim clear? May not be the best for coverage but could make some sick combos
The People’s Champion
You should do 2 layouts for the course, just tee-pads, that makes it more interesting
Would be fun to see a Pixel putting battle between you and your MVP teammate Silva Saarinen while you're in Europe
Sleeves are cheap and easy to install - although some of the baskets appear to have mounds of cement around the pole base - not sure what's up with that.
9:20 me on every course ever
Really tall grass like that always makes me worry about snakes. I don't know if they're just not as common where you are, but where I live, there would absolutely be snakes in there
Will there be multiple pins or pads?
He hit the "Ben" gap!
5:51 sooo tighttttt
Would this course suite hosting USWDGC? I feel like the skillset you designed it for would translate to FPO well.
Simon @ 5:00: "you can choose which gap to hit" you mean I can choose which tree to hit
I wish I had the distance problem that Ben has.
i want to see you and Eagle play on Vesterkalmare in åland
Where can I get this SimonLine hat?
u could shoot -16 there with just the tesla
whats your filming set up
