@@asarnatskiy youre missing the point. The point is that players, including pros, are too quick to label players at cheaters. The community needs to swallow its pride and just because someone is better than you doesnt mean they are cheating
because pros are trained to have the "I'm the best" mentality, so if someone who is not a pro is better, it's more justifiable in their eyes for this someone to be a cheater
@@makaronininiwich is something that shouldnt be happening tbh they should have the mentality that when they get clapped they want to get better then them instead of not doing anything and blaming it on ghosts using word
In the words of Captain Picard, "It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose. That is not a weakness, that is life" "Or maybe the other team were just cheating space cunts" , not sure he said the last part though, its been a while since i watched that episode.
I agree with you Rich That said in Australia it is unbelievable in 20-25k lobbies it's pretty much 70% hit rate to get a cheater, they even announce that they are cheating, If I'm not 5 stacking I've had cheaters on my team who can't even avoid a molly literally 1ging themselves out of panic, can't find the bomb, shit movement etc yet they are 22k elo. I don't buy that the AC is the entire problem I believe cheaters are excited to grind a new ELO system, Valve has done a good job in making a pretty an addictive ELO system and you pair that with a leaderboard and cheaters get pretty damn excited to grind it just like a normal player, but yeah that's the main reason why there's more cheaters imo. I've been playing since 2004 I've got a pretty damn good eye to spot them, the Australian community is so small that everyone knows each other so it's pretty easy to see on who's legit or not, for example, my 5 stack can beat the likes of JKS, Texta, TJP, Chellios pug mixes etc but get absolutely smoked by some randoms with 300 hours and a anime profile, the biggest give away is their movement, they're trash.
Idk I've played MM for 11 years and it definitely seems worse but that's pure anecdote. I play at 17k and 4k cuz I have an entire group of friends that got into the game with cs2 and they're all 4-6k. In the low mmr lobbies its fuckin ridiculous. This is the major problem. I never saw a cheater till i started playing with noobs. The new player experience is fuuuuucked. Probably why its over represented online. The play one game in pisslo, make reddit post loop is real.
it's also worth noting one huge difference with football VAR and what is being suggested here is that in football 99% of the time the worst that can happen is that a player doesn't get to play for a few matches so even if the ref gets it wrong it's something that a team and player can recover from. In esports it's usually life time or at least multiple year long bans for cheating so if that ever is wrong it would mean completely destroying a player and teams career without concrete evidence.
Was that the one with the AI sounding female voice? If so that was a good video actually. If not then I need a link to which one you are talking about.
@@cradleofgoth Yeah, that was definitely the channel. It sounds like AI to me, probably because its a very similar voice to that female TikTok audio voice that sounds cringe as heck. But much higher quality and with more tonal variance. Still, good video. Just sounded like AI voice was used for it.
In NA rn atleast in my experience in 17k-23k prem feels more cheater infested only because if feels like you’ll find cheaters all day. In cs go global mm felt like you got cheaters on specific maps and times (past 2am). Nowadays I q at 5pm and it’s still a 50/50
I had a game of CS today where a 1-shot aimbotter headshot everytime and literally ACED every round with %100 headshot. We stopped trying and rushed mid every round in hopes he'd get VAC'd but he wasn't. If that doesn't activate the anti cheat WTF will? really CS is complete bullshit right now.
I feel it’s all about community reception I think most people know Valorant isn’t “cheat” free but if they feel the anticheat is working then they are more likely to believe the player is good than the player is cheating.
no, most people probably genuinely think that Valorant is cheat free. Remember most people don't think logically and rationally, they believe that kernel level means unbreakable after all. But it's true, people on Valorant will think a cheater is just a good player, whereas people on CS2 will think a good player is a cheater. Both perspectives are shit but CS2's is much more intoxicating for the community.
@JerryO1995 I have a friend who once said "there's cheaters in Valorant, but you've probably never been in a game with one" Which is just as dumb as saying there's none when we have no data about it.
sitting at 18k elo premier and I have encountered maybe 3 cheaters since launch. I said this at 10k was told wait til you get to 15k I got to 15k said the same thing, and now it's wait til you get to 20k. I think it's just cope at this point. Obviously cheaters exist but saying there's one in every game is just brain dead
people are not playing all the game with it, i saw cheaters just turn on and off and even lost games, sorry to tell you, but you are in denial. I honestly think valve policie of no intrusion AC and not banning hardware just makes this possible, but a compentent valve AC would ruin faceit/esea so who knows.
"Can't be a coincidence" I mean, apart from the sound of footsteps being obvious, CS players do weird shit like that all the damn time. The amount of games over the last 20 years where I either did something or saw something that makes no logical sense is beyond countable. I've had the following exchange, on both sides, hundreds of times: "Why did you change your angle right then?" "I dunno, just decided to change angles"
so ive been grinding hard since cs2 came out to try and make it in the content space and ive been framing my shit around the fact that im just an average pleb and this is my journey to try and improve and have fun while doing it. I made one video talking about what I thought valve should be focusing on with content updates and my comments (for my size) were flooded with shit that boiled down to "fix the cheaters in every game first maybe?" so I made a follow up basically right in line with your view that Cheaters exist but there's no way its as prevalent as people make it out to be and that the average player isnt good at detecting cheaters either in game or in demo and its to this day the ONLY video ive ever made with a significant negative pushback. I couldnt believe how many people honestly buy into the cheaters are everywhere argument. I basically avoid the topic like the plague now as a longtime Rich fan I always new the mentally ill existed but I have a new found respect for your ability to constantly engage with these people and not go thermo-nuclear every time on them
Depends on the rank that you play at, but if you are 20,000+ in NA, running into pretty blatant cheaters is inevitable. At lower ranks you run into them but it’s much less common
@@thomask5965 I peaked out this season at 18k and have kinda just been stuck around 15~ admittedly ive played a lot more regular comp and dabbled in faceit but im over 140 wins in premier. If I had to take a stab at it I think rn im playing 3/10 games where someone is sus mainly walling/weird peaks etc. Idk if im just super lucky but thus far ive seen 0 obvious rage hackers like spinbot or super obvious aim hacking.
The difference is the leaderboard or rather ”cheaterboard”. Barely any real pros are in the top 100 in premier because they cant be bothered frequently playing cheaters. Playing 20k or above is a nightmare. Now when there is a leaderboard and a friends leaderboard cheaters will ofcourse try get a high rating to try to impress people.
Internet points? Flex? Account boosting service or cheat developer advertisement? There are tons of reason to cheat and when there is a global leaderboard where you can show the results of your cheating it gives more incentives@@jebbyy32
@@jebbyy32well most ppl that cheat are losers irl and they do it to boost their ego and now with a public leaderboard for everyone out there to see it gives them even more reason to go out there n cheat cuz its nice seeing ur name in them
@@brnz8238 sure, that's very true. People who are already cheating now get on the leader board, but why would that change how many people cheat. I'm not convinced that is happening
Valve did such a good job upgrading to Source 2 that people used their CSGO cheat detection "senses" when things inside those details had changed. The "peakers advantage" on release felt like you were getting beat by a cheater who shot you before being visible. The smoke radius for "shot thru smoke" killfeed icon was also wider. I got into CS right before Source -> CSGO transistion. This is still such a smoother upgrade, and it already feels nicer than 64 tick CSGO, even if I'm not getting the same framerate as in CSGO it's just smoother. I think there is some weirdness in crouch animations, though. I've been spamming crouch a lot during fights because I find players who do that way harder to hit. I notice donk does that a lot, if there's something with the crouch animations that is glitchy, then that would explain why he's so dominant at winning fights without dying.
Took a break from cs for a year for military. Now back when cs2 came out. Didnt start playing faceit first, because I was rusty. Went to play premier with a few of my old buddies. Got to 22 600 rating now. Had to quit playing due to SO MANY cheaters. In atleast half the games at this rating there is a rat closeted with wallhacks. It is easy to tell when you can watch the demo back and a guy who moves like an intermediate bot gets 30 against 2500+ ELO faceit players. In lets say 10% of the games there are ragecheaters. Talked to one of them ingame and he told us that 25000+ is basically spinbot v. spinbot hvh. It is basically impossible(atleast unenjoyable) to get to 23000+ without cheats. Yeah I get most players play around 13000 rating, but when my mate who has never played cs has to start with competetive mode and he comes across a cheater in his first 3 games it IS a HUGE problem. for this game to survive we NEED a better anticheat!
I really have to say there are a lot of cheaters and, speaking from personal experience only, more than CSGO. I also think there is actually a big ban wave coming, not the Robocalypse, but a fair amount of bans. Look what they did in Dota. Im sure they knew people wouid cheat in CS2 aswell.
i agree with this i quit playing premier switched to faceit just because in 18-19k elo i play against cheaters who are just blatantly cheating though in my experience it was maybe 3/6 of the games
just started to watch the video and people saying its worse in cs2 are never been to upper ranks apparently, they were people who were spinning in supreme games and i was listing 3 of them didnt get banned for atleast a solid 8 months
Richards talking out his ass about cheating in cs2... its worse than csgo.. I palyed 5 games this week, 4 had people rage hacking. 3 games where people are instantly mag dumping a scout or p90 around corners firing all the shots instantly and killing everyone instantly... so much fun.
@@dikflair420 pretty much. it hasn't been the same since it went free-to-play. Richards mostly talking about the pro scene and cheating on LAN, but for whatever reason he's just trying to get some extra brownie points from Valve or something instead of being honest with himself and say there's a cheating problem.
I’ve always been on the side of “there’s not as many cheaters as people say in cs2”, however, not sure what happened in competitive and premier since the arms update, but every other match has at least one. 10-16 K range zone Europe.
@@RLewisReportsi was 27k and i had a cheater about every other game. The ranking system is fundamentaly the issue. In order to get a cheater in valorant at the high ranks, he has to spend a significantly longer amount of time playing the game in order to get into your games, hence why there's fewer cheaters in valorant at the higher lvl, they simply have to spend more time and the AC has longer to time to work. The people who vocally complain are always the loud minority, in this case the higher rank players like myself. I'am a valorant radiant player, and i have in 2k+ hours seen exactly 2 cheaters get banned in my games. In counterstrike its genuinely not even countable. Were valve not incompetent, and would have done some market research to figure this out, they would have made a significantly more intricate ranking system in which these issues would not be as obvious. The way valorant makes this happen, is by seasonally making it alot easier to climb to the rank which you have previously attained, but also in order to get to a high rank, you have to spend a significant amount of time grinding, which is not the case in cs. You sometimes have to call it how it is. This may be one of the biggest fumbles i've ever seen a developer do in terms of creating a sustainable ranked enviroment for their game. They are simply incompetent, i cannot see it any other way even when i try. But yes, the cheater problem is mainly due to high ranked players being more vocal and having a following, that does not change the fact that it is actually an unplayable experience at the highest lvl.
@@jebbyy32The point is valorant has 0 concentration of cheaters at higher lvls. It's the exact opposite to counter strike. It's the exact opposite because the developers had a thought out plan to make it so there would be virtually no cheaters at the top of the rankings due to designing the ranking system in a more intricate way, which valve have not done and the result is a shitshow. It only applies to counter strike that there are more cheaters at a higher lvl. Their biggest competitor in the space has no problem with it. There is a reason why.
Definitely feels like the lucrative nature of sticker money/prize money in the major heightens peoples desires to get into the major. You are right, people forget CSGO, there was a reddit clip every other qualifier. Forsaken, Emilio got banned in actual tournament play and orgs didn't even react this way. The fact that the more money the opportunity presents, the more visceral reactions there will be from Orgs because the missed out on the bag, even though they probably get stomped by T1/T2 teams later anyway and still dont qualify. More money more problems.

My mentality has always been is if they aint spinning they aint winning. Otherwise ill just cry cheats and run with deagle. VOVLOS demos suck balls you cant even use them to tell. Just record a video pov and then put it side by side with the game demo... WHEN you play there is nothing stopping you from just waiting for an extra second. or 5 or 20 its up to you, make a sound and see if someone checks it out, the level difference between doing that and not even thinking you could be doing that is the problem. Half the players dont know you can walk...
Would need to see more data on the Valorant cheating issue. I've played against a cheater in Immortal/Radiant rank, but they are so few and far between. I do see they get banned too. CS2 is a cheater every other game in 20k+ elo.
There have always been "VAC moments" in CS. Eye-balling wouldn't work as you'd have to ban Donk, S1mple, Zywoo, Niko...on LAN...without glasses with "radar hack"...with admin behind them. ZyWoos game sense is so otherworldly that you can ban him 10 times per match just because he reads the opponent and knows how they play, what they'd likely do etc.
like you said, LAN qualifiers would be the one thing that could "eradicate" cheaters from majors or high profile tournaments, just like it was in CS1.6 days. that y11 video/clip has got be from someone that never played the fucking game, or has a pair of 1$ crap "headphones".
I can speak about the hungarians from Pera. They are all playing since many, many years now, all of them played on many LAN-s, and performed well. Cant speak about the 2 not hungarian, but the 3 is legit. The crying is kinda nonsense
I typed "valorant cheat" on youtube and found a video of somebody using wh. I can't believe this game still to this day doesn't have a public demo system but obviously somebody at riot has access to the demos as they handle manual bans.
If you watch your own VODs you will see the same “sketchy” moments lol even me who was a mg2 on a MacBook had tons of “looking at people through walls”, delulu’s think they are better than they are and can’t accept people are better
I agree with everything Richard said but I did just play CS2 yesterday and in 3 games i ran into 3 cheaters. 2 premier and 1 regular comp. I know valves policy but man they gotta do something once you get to a somewhat decent rank in premier (15k+) you start seeing it. It's infuriating how the system hasn't gotten better.
In 26k premier I get a cheater probably every other match. (confirmed with demo/leetify, no reddit silver delusion). Its about a 40% overall in my matches since November, looking at my stat tracker. Only 18 players banned out of like 50-60 cheaters Ive met. It is worst, than csgo cheats are so much more accessible right now. I get cheaters on my smurf in 19k (it has good trust, its old). On faceit since CS2 came out, I got 2 cheaters so far in 50 matches which is something I’ve never seen. 1 has been banned On Valorant from launch till episode 4 in Immortal 2-3 I have probably gotten 8 cheaters, 2 were live banned. This was out of probably 600 total Val games. It could have gotten worst but I dont play anymore. This is all anecdotal but this is my experience in both games. I do notice the more cheaters in cs2 than go, I have been playing GO since 2012, mostly as an MM player
This is about my same experience and not even trying to feed into all the cheating accusations etc. etc. But it feels like all the people who say cs2 does not have a cheating problem are pretty low in rank where running into a cheater is far less likely. But thats my two cents.
CS2 is a new game riding on a 'hype', plus premier ranks publicized in game. These 2 factors alone contribute to higher than ever amounts of cheaters. 20-22k premier was starting to be rough, then 22-25k blatant aim, wh, speedhack or all combined every other game like you said. Just not worth grinding it. Moved to faceit, 1 blatant cheat in around 25 games. Not so bad but again, when you step back from it all and realize that there is always a chance to waste your time in a server against cheats is a tough thought :D To address the video though, Richard is absolutely right, self-claimed know it alls spamming accusations with laughable or no concrete evidence is not good. Makes them look dogshit + gets the band wagon going full of weaker players which is a majority. Valve please fix?
100% agree as someone who’s been immortal in valorant and top 1000 on faceit in NA. I don’t understand people downplaying the cs2 cheating, in valorant it’s an anomaly to find a cheater, in cs2 it’s guaranteed if you play 4 games in a day. Premier is unplayable at the moment
I know it's obvious but it bears saying: sometimes cheaters are going to get away with it because you don't have enough proof. Suspicions on a couple plays here or there are not enough to condemn someone, much less ban them, especially given the amount of confirmation bias you see in these communities. And it goes without saying, most of these clips are of the "this guy is much better than me so he must be cheating" variety, which have long been the most embarrassing accusations imaginable (not to mention what they say about the accuser) and these people still don't realize it, all these years later.
Me and my friends coast around 18K to 20K and can confidently say that 1 in 10 games have had a waller, its really really rare for us to run into blatant people. In fact its so rare that I only ran into one last night in a 3AM lobby lol. VAC Live does not seem to be working as intended because it certainly did not spot the spin botter who dumpstered us. But I have no idea how complex it is to keep up with cheats… I just know that valve are at least trying and it seems like its been mostly working?
At around 21-22k elo, past 10 games I’ve had 4 blatant spin botters and ended up in a full hack v hack lobby in premier. Not so much wallers or anything like that though. Never seen anything this often in csgo and only seen it once on faceit with 3000+ Games. It’s a shame
i was 22.5k eu and getting hvh lobbies every other match. i had 5 in a row the other evening have since abandoned match after match until 18k elo and its noticeably better, just sticking to faceit in future
I joined faceit this week to get away from the cheaters in 22k. But Faceit also has them. Just full on aimlock, on fresh steam accounts. Wish Faceit had more of a barrier to entry. Can’t play my favorite game.
It’s so nice to hear. Like sure, cheating is an issue just like every other game. Spent time in the Tarkov community and it’s complained about there too. CS is brought up as a positive example until recently. It’s all just grass is greener garbage without a second of neuron activation
20-25k premier games are a worse version of LE-Global games back in 2014-15 prior to the first big vac wave, they are pretty close in terms of the amount of cheating but i'm just too old to put up with it anymore because facing 2 games of cheaters is all the time i got in the weekdays. 10 years ago i could just brush off if 3 out of the 10 games i'd play had cheaters easier, this i bet has a lot to do with the overall community perception of cheating too. However if you actually do play alot currently you will notice the amount of cheaters when comparing to more recent times say 2017-2022 the number is absolutely bigger in CS2 compared to csgo, atleast in the high ranks. Game seems to be getting better sloooowly and i look forward to getting more games in once it's at a point where it's a joy to play again.
The jw smoke cheat accusations came from the old demo smoke bug. It used to be the case that if you skipped rounds, smokes that were thrown in that interval would bloom to where you skipped. If you rewatch the accusation video you can tell how the smokes fades at 1:30 every time (roundtime was 1:45 back then and smokes lasts just over 15)
idk i can tell you mate, recently have been experiencing lot of cheaters in NA around 20k elo, cant say for valorant never played too much, its not every game but it is quite noticeable. Just a game from 2 nights ago, enemy team had 2 q that were blatant but my team had a 2q and 1 of them was spinning and had 60+ kills idk
Brother my last 5 premier games were full hvh spinbot lobbys so normal high ranked cs2 servers are full off cheaters (20k rating) but i decided to get back on faceit where i am level 9 atm and it is a lot better i havent encountered one cheater in like 30 games by now
If CS ever gets a kernel level anti cheat like Vanguard.... I'd quit, it's unnecessary people have cheated in ALL online games since the dawn of time you just learn to deal with it. Everyone complaining is a child
pfft as if you are not being compromised by any other software you installed on your phone and computer, not to mention giving info in banks, stores, employers, govt. shit etc.
New player that has been sub 5,000 rank before yesterday, gotta say if you're a new/bad player like me, you wont see a singke cheater lol. Will probably get worse as i get higher rank, but as it stants i havent seen a single cheater yet
at least new player exp is okay then XD cheaters probably rank up fast and they float around 19-30k, i play solo most times and i do float around 19-22k with good premade you can push your rank around 22-24k but its very hard you still have to beat some serious cheaters, after 25k+ its full spintbot every 2nd game or something like that
you could not be more wrong about the hacking situation in cs2. as a casual player I encountered more than 3 cheaters this week alone using spin hacks, compared to the
I agree that cheating accusations in cs2 are blown out of proportion for the first phase of cs2 release, but i have definitely exoerienced a rise in blatant spinbot and wall/aim hacking in premier past few weeks, let alone all the lame ass youtube 'streamers' showcasing their bought cheats to like 120 viewers.
Idk if its that its worse, but its definitely more blatant. No reason spinbotters should be running around shooting the whole enemy team with a scout in spawn within 5 seconds of the round starting and somehow not getting detected by vac
If you lose in any game, get tf over it. Quit pretending you are so good as to not get wrecked. Seems like it's an ego issue, can't fathom losing, so the other party is obviously cheating lol. Get evidence then talk, otherwise you make a fool of yourself. Solid vid, thanks Richard.
So many CS players are living in their own made up world of disbelief it's rather funny. The amount of time I'm being accused of cheating recently is just comedic. I'm nowhere near the pro scene, and probably never will be, I'm playing this game to have fun. I don't want to improve myself further that's why I'm not even interested in FaceIt, so I just stick to the good ol' MM. Since CS2 rank system is just.... well not really existent, I've been constantly called a cheater. I've been around Global Elite - Supreme in CS:GO. The enemy's first action is to check my faceit account, where I'm literally a silver, since I haven't played more than 4 games since I got my rank. Funnily enough when I play with one of my friends who's a Faceit level 10, he's accused of cheating too. So there's literally no way of you being legit in their eyes. Sure, I've been in games where the enemy was clearly better than me / us, some of them had their fair share of suspicios decisions, but I know damn well I have done sus' stuff too. It's part of the game. Some of my friends are instantly raging about the enemy is cheating, just to be disappointed after watching the demo back. I've met around 5 ( REAL CHEATERS ) since I started playing Counter-Strike 2, last year when it came out. My trust factor could be the reason of how small this number is.
Agree Richard, the level of bitchness in tier 1 CS is pathetic. Can you imagine the world of football accusing worldwide upcoming talents of using drugs, just because they are delivering? Or saying that because of that Football CANNOT be professional anymore?.
Whether or not it’s worse in CS2, valve created an expectation that something would be different this time. In that sense, it *is* out of control. Valve promised live, AI anti-cheat which as far as we can tell, hasn’t been delivered. I had someone last night using a scout, aimbotting, and firing off all 5 scout headshots in less than half a second. The AI anti cheat can’t figure out that 5 immediate scout shots in less than a second is cheating?
My friend was playing with just xm shotgun and was often called a cheater but at some point got to like 12k rating and said the game got hard cause he can't aim. So i actually believe when redditors claim the game is full of cheaters if cheating is using both of your hands while playing.
I think Valve needs to copy the european RMR and have the other teams coach decide if a player is cheating. After all that coach clearly saw the player make a "suboptimal play" so of course he cheated
Tried to tell people that anti-cheat doesn't catch cheaters in pro CS because the pros that cheat mostly use radar feeds directly from the live demo. People just have no clue. Side note, the cheats that I'm curious about are the ones that use peripherals and how TOs detect those.
Valorant and Faceit is not cheat free but the barrier to cheat is a lot higher against kernel level anticheat and it reduces the amount of blatant cheaters. Blatant cheaters just completely destroy people's morale and interest to play the game. Faceit has a lot lot less blatant cheaters and anyone played on the platform can attest to that. There are obviously suspicious players and closeted cheaters who attempt to look legit on Faceit but it's much better experience than getting killed on spawn after 0.1 sec of spawning. Also are people really saying CSGO didn't have cheaters? Where? Seems like RLewis just strawmanning to prove his point. Most of the cheating complaints i've seen in last 6 months were about it increasing significantly rather than its being a CS2 only problem like he is implying.
It's not toxic fumes from cs2, it's the fact that people already were complaining about cheaters for so long in cs:go, and when cs2 released people assumed there would be some sort of obvious anticheat upgrade. Obviously we don't know what valve has changed behind the scenes but on the surface it seems like nothing was done, so people are angry and that sentiment has percolated into higher levels
Cheating in CS2 probably isn't worse than csgo, but it is more disappointing when the expectation is that a new generation of the game would use more effective anti cheat practices..
Had a complete spin bot in 2 out of the 10 games ive played this week on CS2 got the demos of complete blatant cheating, they need to do something regardless of if Valo has less or the same.
csgo had the worst time when it became free like most game getting problems but honestly the only cheating problem ive seen now in cs2 is in non prime and its in about 4/10 games on average the rest is just people smurfing tbh but that mostly in low rank about 8/10 times average in silver 1 to gn 2 as far as ive tested but even then the cheating in prime has gone down to a hard 2/20 games or smth
0:40 When I played CSGO on Global I had one obvious cheater every year for years. Meanwhile in CS2, when I just see a server IP i get 3 headshots through the wall. So something changed for sure.
it's a good thing to ignore the daily posting of a cheater clip on reddit. or to ignore the premier leaderboard being filled with cheaters who are openly cheating, not hiding it, STREAMING IT and getting manually banned only after some pro that is out of his mind to play premier makes a post about it. solid research there on CS2.
Ahh yes because the same 10 people on reddit complaining about cheating is definitely resprestitive of the millions that play a month. Absolutely, why didn't I think of that.
@@Sakhan9969 yes absolutely, 10 losers whining on reddit about their alt accounts having cheaters isn't resprestitive of everyone. Surely you understand how to count right, they teach you that in primary school
CS2 cheating is out of control. Yes, Valorant cheating exists, but this shit is insane right now. The minute you dwell over even 17k in premier, it's like every 3 games at least.
They just want an excuse as to why they are bad/why someone's better than them after they spent 1k hours at a game. Those people shouldn't be allowed to play any game before they spend equal amount of time in therapy to figure out why they can't take responsibility at a pathological level.
@@alfred9805 because of the inability to take responsibility and raging. The only age that's excusable for in gaming is from 0-15ish. And there are a lot more older people playing COD, league and those type of games that behave like they're from 0-15ish than actual kids and, by that point, you kind of need therapy to change your behavior if you're shifting blame/raging/saying disgusting things/calling everyone a cheater like they mostly do.
I've always been a sceptic when it comes to cheating accusations. For all I know I've only played with/against 2-3 cheaters in my 1200 hours of CSGO/CS2. Demo reviews to determine bans seems crazy to me. I've been reported tons of time for cheating in MM just because I hit some lucky shots or had a few lucky timings in the same match
Cs2 premiere or faceit free account non subscription defenetly worse than csgo premium was that’s atleast my experience what ended late October 2023 can’t say now if anything changed with updates in premier probly more people grinded and cheaters got higher ranking/elo but it used to be around 13-15k 3 out of 10 games cheaters one time its ur teammate or in both teams then it’s hilarious to watch 2 guys with 200 iq
Update? if you want data go to play.. it's ridiculous at this point, and I've played 20 years this game. Anyways, tell me you don't play the game without telling me you don't play the game..
Honestly Richard I promise you when you get over 20k rating the cheating problem is unreal. Easy fixes: don’t match people who have played for 2-3k hours with people who have 200 or less hours. Preferably match people with roughly the same amount of hours Put people with ace headshots in more than 3 rounds in 1 game in some sort of pause and then manually review it. If they had the game of their life, sure, unban, but most likely they’re blatantly hacking. I’d say it’s 50/50 in the games I’ve played in over 20k rating, most full blatant but some with silvermovement and wallhack just running knife out to where people are/prefiring if they need to clear. I get that people are crying a bit too much when they have 0 gamesense but you’re kinda beating an old horse at this point. The fixes are so fking easy to get rid of like 80% of hackers but then Valve has to pay some people to do it, which they wont. Put some people in some eastern european country and pay them cents on the dollar compared to the US and just ban the blatant ones and it’s done.
Money isn't an issue for Valve. They literally have an infinite money glitch called Steam. Perhaps it isn't an issue of money or just employing someone new.
yOU probably is not playing cs2 , when , when you Just download The game and in The First match theres a Guy spinning, you know The game os Full of cheaters. They fact is a New engine should bê a hint tô your "Gut feeling"
Why do you conclude some topics as black and white? World is not black and white and neither is the CS2 situation with cheaters. There are a lot, cheating IS out of control and the game has dogshit anticheat, but at the same time, cheating in pro scene is NOT common and those accusations are bullshit, everyone who plays on LAN is probbaly legit, there are exceptions in the history such as forsaken etc. but in premier online, above 21k there is a cheater in every game basically. Yes we have reached a point where anyone who dominates is automatically suspicious, because it is easy to cheat in CS2. Have you actually done some research on this among the cheating scene? have you gone out and interviewed some cheaters, have you tried searching for cheats and what is the security breach ratio of those cheats and what features they provide? You havent, because if you have you would know there are legit cheats for as little as $9.99 that are undetected for months/years and they offer features that cannot get you banned even if 100 admins watched your demo at 3% speed, becauuse its not possible to know if person is cheating or not. Such as transparent ESP, proximity hardware beep when enemy is close, hacked radar which shows enemies and bomb location and so on. It requires you to be a good player, but gives you insane info and gamesense.

Accusations and flaming over voip in far more games than there use to be. Like jesus im in shit tier on cs, and im playing with people that are in shit tier, if i get a shot off on someone, its got nothing to do with cheats, we are both shit, it because one of us got lucky in an engagement. And the same goes in reverse, if someone reks me, its probably because I'm shit and rhey are better, its just the way it goes sometimes.
speaking as a valorant player, i have ran into a SINGLE cheater in the past 2.5 years who was banned by anti cheat the same day I played them (riot gives you a notification) . only maybe once every few months do I play against somebody where I even think about accusing somebody of cheating. cheating really just is incredibly rare. Rare Richard Lewis L.

Don't know who this Richard is, but don't say that others need to plug the holes in their argument, while you can't string a coherent story. For instance: first you keep saying that nobody cheats and people lose fair games. Later all of a sudden cheating is not a CS2 problem, but has been a problem in CSGO too.
You're missing the point - the point is that people are acting like it's worse than CSGO when it isn't. The argument with the 0.6% of people cheating in the RMR was to bring up the fact that it's exactly the same as every CSGO RMR. It's not worse. It's the same. CS has always had a cheating problem. 1.6 had it, CS:S had it, CS:GO had it, and now CS2 has it too. Literally the entire point of this video is that CS2 is not worse than CSGO on the cheating front.
Today I had an enemy player go 100% headshot with a 17 kills and 9 deaths. While he ran around corners with an ak. Every kill he got was headshots nothing Els.

That said in Australia it is unbelievable in 20-25k lobbies it's pretty much 70% hit rate to get a cheater, they even announce that they are cheating, If I'm not 5 stacking I've had cheaters on my team who can't even avoid a molly literally 1ging themselves out of panic, can't find the bomb, shit movement etc yet they are 22k elo.
I love who they ask for VAR, because VAR hasn't upset anyone in the football scene at all!
The analogy doesn't even make sense as VAR was added to check in real-time. It's not used to check it after games have been played. It makes no sense
Agree... have over 5k hrs csgo and 22k elo. I think alot of it has to do with them scrapping overwatch tbh
damn, so its only the biggest chunk of players that are hit by the issue. crazy valve is not doing anything about it then.
it's also worth noting one huge difference with football VAR and what is being suggested here is that in football 99% of the time the worst that can happen is that a player doesn't get to play for a few matches so even if the ref gets it wrong it's something that a team and player can recover from. In esports it's usually life time or at least multiple year long bans for cheating so if that ever is wrong it would mean completely destroying a player and teams career without concrete evidence.
Watched a video on how vanguard can be bypassed like a week ago, interesting watch tbh
Most of the undetectable cheats require access to the PC case, so wouldn't apply on LAN to be clear

And they have no demos in that game.
@JerryO1995 I have a friend who once said "there's cheaters in Valorant, but you've probably never been in a game with one"
Which is just as dumb as saying there's none when we have no data about it.

Same thing, not a single cheater in around 250 games from 5k to 18k. There was one sus dude in my team, I watched the demo and turns out he was legit

The difference is the leaderboard or rather ”cheaterboard”. Barely any real pros are in the top 100 in premier because they cant be bothered frequently playing cheaters. Playing 20k or above is a nightmare.

It only applies to counter strike that there are more cheaters at a higher lvl. Their biggest competitor in the space has no problem with it. There is a reason why.
Definitely feels like the lucrative nature of sticker money/prize money in the major heightens peoples desires to get into the major.

1 has been banned
On Valorant from launch till episode 4 in Immortal 2-3 I have probably gotten 8 cheaters, 2 were live banned.
Not so bad but again, when you step back from it all and realize that there is always a chance to waste your time in a server against cheats is a tough thought :D
To address the video though, Richard is absolutely right, self-claimed know it alls spamming accusations with laughable or no concrete evidence is not good. Makes them look dogshit + gets the band wagon going full of weaker players which is a majority.
Valve please fix?
Link your leetify dude!
100%, im 19k currently and in about every other game there is atleast 1 cheater... and they are fucking blatant.
It’s a shame
i was 22.5k eu and getting hvh lobbies every other match. i had 5 in a row the other evening
have since abandoned match after match until 18k elo and its noticeably better, just sticking to faceit in future
I joined faceit this week to get away from the cheaters in 22k. But Faceit also has them. Just full on aimlock, on fresh steam accounts. Wish Faceit had more of a barrier to entry. Can’t play my favorite game.

Haven't played a single blatant cheater since the game came out, and I'm 14k elo which is probably dead average
Delicious content for nightshift
Will probably get worse as i get higher rank, but as it stants i havent seen a single cheater yet
at least new player exp is okay then XD cheaters probably rank up fast and they float around 19-30k, i play solo most times and i do float around 19-22k with good premade you can push your rank around 22-24k but its very hard you still have to beat some serious cheaters, after 25k+ its full spintbot every 2nd game or something like that
Exactly, you'll be fine until 20k, and it's a long road if you're a new player, keep enjoying the game
you could not be more wrong about the hacking situation in cs2. as a casual player I encountered more than 3 cheaters this week alone using spin hacks, compared to the
I agree that cheating accusations in cs2 are blown out of proportion for the first phase of cs2 release, but i have definitely exoerienced a rise in blatant spinbot and wall/aim hacking in premier past few weeks, let alone all the lame ass youtube 'streamers' showcasing their bought cheats to like 120 viewers.
If you only q office you run into alot of hackers lmaoo
28:58 funniest reference Rlewis has done for ages
I don't want to hear whining about cheating until you've played r6 the first month of a new season
Its almost like to catch a cheater, the cheater must first cheat...
Please show me where VALVE promised a new Ai based anticheat for cs2.
I see this repeated over and over again, it literally isn't true....
I really want and like the glass frames what brand is that mr.richard lewis.
My friend was playing with just xm shotgun and was often called a cheater but at some point got to like 12k rating and said the game got hard cause he can't aim. So i actually believe when redditors claim the game is full of cheaters if cheating is using both of your hands while playing.
Exactly
I think Valve needs to copy the european RMR and have the other teams coach decide if a player is cheating. After all that coach clearly saw the player make a "suboptimal play" so of course he cheated
Tried to tell people that anti-cheat doesn't catch cheaters in pro CS because the pros that cheat mostly use radar feeds directly from the live demo.
People just have no clue.
Side note, the cheats that I'm curious about are the ones that use peripherals and how TOs detect those.
I haven't seen a single cheater but tbf i dont play premier just regular comp
That's a fair criticism
Word.exe,,,, a classic of classics😂
Had a complete spin bot in 2 out of the 10 games ive played this week on CS2 got the demos of complete blatant cheating, they need to do something regardless of if Valo has less or the same.
csgo had the worst time when it became free like most game getting problems but honestly the only cheating problem ive seen now in cs2 is in non prime and its in about 4/10 games on average the rest is just people smurfing tbh but that mostly in low rank about 8/10 times average in silver 1 to gn 2 as far as ive tested but even then the cheating in prime has gone down to a hard 2/20 games or smth
richard your t-shirt is tripping me out
0:40
When I played CSGO on Global I had one obvious cheater every year for years.
Meanwhile in CS2, when I just see a server IP i get 3 headshots through the wall.
So something changed for sure.
38:40 had a good laugh
it's a good thing to ignore the daily posting of a cheater clip on reddit.
or to ignore the premier leaderboard being filled with cheaters who are openly cheating, not hiding it, STREAMING IT and getting manually banned only after some pro that is out of his mind to play premier makes a post about it.
solid research there on CS2.
Ahh yes because the same 10 people on reddit complaining about cheating is definitely resprestitive of the millions that play a month. Absolutely, why didn't I think of that.
@@jebbyy32 "same" you did your research well I see : )
@@Sakhan9969 yes absolutely, 10 losers whining on reddit about their alt accounts having cheaters isn't resprestitive of everyone.
Surely you understand how to count right, they teach you that in primary school

@@jebbyy32 go ahead, fix your tinfoil hat :)
Most people on the internet are kids, their brain didn't fully develop yet, not sure therapy is needed
Richard still putting out banger after banger for a decade? That is not normal, check hims PC
Cs2 premiere or faceit free account non subscription defenetly worse than csgo premium was that’s atleast my experience what ended late October 2023 can’t say now if anything changed with updates in premier probly more people grinded and cheaters got higher ranking/elo but it used to be around 13-15k 3 out of 10 games cheaters one time its ur teammate or in both teams then it’s hilarious to watch 2 guys with 200 iq
id rather deal with cheaters than a kernal AC.
Update? if you want data go to play.. it's ridiculous at this point, and I've played 20 years this game.
Anyways, tell me you don't play the game without telling me you don't play the game..
Honestly Richard I promise you when you get over 20k rating the cheating problem is unreal.
Easy fixes: don’t match people who have played for 2-3k hours with people who have 200 or less hours. Preferably match people with roughly the same amount of hours
Put people with ace headshots in more than 3 rounds in 1 game in some sort of pause and then manually review it.
Lot of useless word
Valorant at least is doing something. Valve... idk
Remove Donk's name from the demos against Faze and show it to these people.
Cs2 is shit and everyone is cheating.... When do I get my Saudi bag?
"At a certain level" cheating is bad. dude its at all levels all ranks doesnt matter

I am so over playing cs and dota, both games i love, just because the comunities are full of such shitty people bleeds off into the game.

Valorante Child's Game 😂
speaking as a valorant player, i have ran into a SINGLE cheater in the past 2.5 years who was banned by anti cheat the same day I played them (riot gives you a notification) . only maybe once every few months do I play against somebody where I even think about accusing somebody of cheating. cheating really just is incredibly rare. Rare Richard Lewis L.
nah, that's a classic Valve shill.
He obviously doesn’t play premier 😅 people complaining coz cs2 vac live was supposed to be the dogs bollocks
Says who?
Literally everything about vac live is speculation from people who have no idea what they are talking about.
Congratulations you got lied to.
> For instance: first you keep saying that nobody cheats
Hi. Please link me the point in the video where I say this.
Yeah man cheating in cs2 isn't out of control because only .6% of the RMR players were cheating......literal definition of anecdotal lmao
Yes, less than 1% of a massive open ONLINE qualifier is actually very good.
Today I had an enemy player go 100% headshot with a 17 kills and 9 deaths. While he ran around corners with an ak. Every kill he got was headshots nothing Els.
