I find it useful to watch many shows and try some of the whiskeys that each person reviews and then find the person who matches most what I like. That person will then have a similar pallet to me and their review will be more to me.

Distilleries don't send me many bottles... I believe I have received only one ever that I didn't pay for... What am I doing wrong?

Great review guys and as others have said, keep doing what you are doing, never change. I picked up two bottles of this Paul John from Master of Malt for £55 each .They just arrived in UK last week. (Leaving it late that's for sure). One getting opened on Christmas day with family. Did you guys pick up any peat at all while sipping this? From one barfly to another, have a safe and enjoyable Christmas and lets hope things improve in the world in 2022!

I love you guy's blabbering! 😂 Maybe add time stamps on the timeline so "viewers" can go straight to the tasting/nosing/scoring part. I was able to get the 2020 Christmas edition gonna open it for Christmas! I Also got the Mithuna, it's definitely going to be a bottle I am gonna keep to crack open when I've get to one of my "life goals" in 2022!
Maybe you just endure the jovial banter and wait for the notes and tasting?

You can tell your buddies over at the Paul John sales department that this sounds like a decent way to spend $80.

If someone gave me $80 whiskies I would give an honest review. Kansas gents are not going fake a review.
I do kind of laugh that India makes a Christmas Edition..But, I also know that the top selling whiskies in the world all come from India and it is smart to expand out into the World market even if you have captured the market of well over a billion people.
If you cannot handle Bart's TEST ITTTTTTTTs, hats and loud shirts than you stopped watching years ago.
I watch a great deal of reviewers and try to learn from them all.
Scott convinced me to buy The Macallan 12 sherry cask. The only 40% whisky on my shelf.
Heck, going back years ago when the Douglas Laing rep gave you the sample bottles I sure didn't care. I do not for a second think you would fake a review.
Just like Bart said...go take a look at that jack 10 review and see if you tell it like it is To Your 'paddles'.

Paul John is located in Goa, India which is about 25% Christian. There are over 22 million Christians in India. With a name like Paul John, he very well be a Christian as well. So a Christmas release doesn't sound that crazy to me.
