feel free to watch this video about the shea moisture situation if you don't know or if you want to know more: Shea Moisture CEO Rich Dennis Addresses The Controversial Ad: ruclips.net/video/XbVeO3mw_Fg/видео.html
If you're still boycotting Shea Moisture you don't have to give a speech in the comments lol. But for anyone who was interested in this line the curl pudding is the TRUTH and I highly recommend it out of all the products in this collection, ESPECIALLY if you are coconut oil sensitive or if you're looking for something to help stretch your braid outs/twist outs. The reshaping butter is high on my faves lists as well! Hope this helps! :)
Kaice Alea I know this is off subject but have you tried the Raw Shea Butter Treatment Masque? I'm using it in my hair right now and I do not like the way it feels on my hair.
I purchased the reshaping butter and conditioner. I used the conditioner on dry hair, and it completely stopped the breakage I was getting from daily manipulation. As you stated, the reshaping butter is an excellent refresher for kinkier hair types, since it does not contain water. Plus, this line is the best smelling one to me.
Tiana Burris I literally just washed my hair and deep conditioned and I was thinking the exact same thing😂 I'm hoping it feels better once I rinse it out
KAICE... listen! EVERYTHING you said. I wish I would have made that same disclaimer in my video about Shea Moisture because I got so many speeches about why I shouldn’t be using it and it’s like, I’m not trying to convince anyone lol But I agree! That curl cream is BOMB. It kept my hair soft for DAYS and DAYS! 😩😍 I actually really want to try the shampoo 🤔
Finally Amber girl anytime i post anything about Shea Moisture it’s like an army comes to try to shut me down lol. They won’t ever get everyone back on board, but some people are just listening to what others say and I refuse to argue over it😂
I was never on board with the Shea Moisture boycott. Like, yes that ad was trash. But I feel like this brand is one of the few brands that give back via scholarships, fair trade, and so much more. I can only think of one of other black-owned brand (Alaffia) that does that. Plus, good products for my hair are hard to come by. Their masks have saved my hair over and over again from damage.
Alright....I'm convinced. Even though the coconut and hibiscus curl enhancing smoothie is my ride or die.....I'm going to try out this pudding! Fingers crossed it works for me!
I hope people watch this video before they comment all crazy. You gave an honest review(as always) and gave us the facts so we can then on go and make our own decisions. This definitely helped! The only shampoo and conditioner that gets me from them is their JBCO line. And flaxseed gel really does help with elasticity! My hair loves it so I’m interested in trying some of these products out.
Da'Naisa Love that's good to know. I've heard a lots of good things about the JBCO line. The manuka honey gives me good slip, but everyone is different
Shea Moisture know darn well that in order for ANYBODY to de tangle their curly or kinky hair that we have GOT to have plenty of slip. They seemed to drop the ball on this product. I heard this line wasn't really that good. I say it in Sally's and am happy I didn't purchase it. Thanks for your honesty. Your hair is pretty as usual. Happy New Year!
im such an advocate for second day hair because it tends to be more stretched than first day hair so im glad you posted this. I may have to try the butter. Thanks for sharing 😊
Sis I was one of the SM protestor but I am over that like I really like their products. If another line comes about and they’re pro black and focus more on type 4 hair and the products are as great or greater than SM then so be it but until then I’m still gonna buy it. It’s exhausting and I’m exhausted!!!
bia bueno it’s a whole bunch of stuff, but what I initially thought it was is that SM made a campaign only using white and mixed women talking about their problems with their hair not including us Black girls with tightly, coiler, kinkier hair (type 4 hair) so Black Twitter got mad at SM saying that how can they change the products to suit white ppl and mixed race hair when we (Black women with type 4 hair) have been supporting them for years. We buy the majority of products. But as I was reading the comments Kaice enlightened me by saying that it wasn’t the case. SM wanted to make their products inclusive and actually had a campaign with women of all color, race and hair types in their campaign but the world saw the first campaign with just the white and mixed women. She also said that SM is to be blamed because they should have shown all the campaigns and not just the one with the mixed and white women. Personally I’m all for inclusion but do not change the formula for mixed and white ppl hair, but instead create a line or two for their hair. You know what I mean? Also, why do Black own business feel the need to always include other races in their products when other businesses (non Black businesses) does not do the same for us. Just a thought.
A A yeah after we have to beg and curse them the fuck out. Also I never said non black businesses do not support black women or black people, I said you have some that don’t and even after the black lash they still don’t and they still are successful. So we can sometimes do the same.
Shescentit, honey’s Handmade, sarenzo, Inahasi naturals are all black owned and cater to all of our hair types. SM is no longer black owned. Unilever and bane own it now
i love how honest you are with the review ! I got excited when i first heard about this line but now i'm not so sure lol. i do wanna try the curl stretch pudding tho !
King's Queen Nah, the weightless line was the worst. Though all the products in this line aren't fabulous the fact that they actually came up with a formula that effectively reduces shrinkage shows that a significant amount of effort was put in.Not to mention the curl stretch pudding was great. I think that most of she moisture' s lines only have 1 or 2 outstanding products, eg the high porosity masque, the jbco leave in, curl enhancing smoothie.
See I did not know that flaxseed helps with elasticity, imma have to start using products with flaxseed oil in it cuz I feel Like my hair is losing elasticity.
At first seeing your results I was impressed, but then when you showed it in the sunlight close up and I realized it looked really really ashy. Something tells me it is the gelle; also because you said there was some flaking. Great review thanks.
FacesByPureness Thanks! But don’t think the gelee made my hair look ashy at all, that’s probably just because I was right in front of the sun and the reflection of the ring light. The flaking I was talking about was more so the little pieces you can see sitting on top of the hair
Kaice Alea Oh yes I understood that however, flaking can show up as dullness. Even though it doesn’t show the actual flakes present. But for sure you saw it in person so you would have seen it in better view. Thanks for clearing that up!
I love all your reviews on hair products it just gives me an idea of what I want to try before I make a purchase on a new product, but I do want to try the curl pudding. Love your hair!😍😍❤❤
The repleneshing shine butter is probably grainy because it melted and then resolidfied. I have a balm that did the same thing. Basically the butters melted and then resolidified but because they're heavier than the oils its not smooth unless you melt it and then rewhip it.
This is super anticipated from me😍 got so stocked when I got the notification!!! This is one of the lines I wanna go out and get for myself!! This and the Maine Choice Boost Kit!
Thanks boo you were right about a wash and go for this. I had the shampoo and pudding. It stretched a little and weighed it down. I will do a style next time and less product even though it said be generous. Loved your review!
Thanks for your review. I too still use shea moisture but will skip this collection. I just saw some new Camille Rose products at Target. I purchased the new leave in honey conditioner
very very very informative on these products. My hair is exactly like yours fine and low density and I don't mind frizz either . the pudding sounds interesting
I hate the shampoo it tangled my hair I had to use Aussie moist, didn’t feel like my hair was clean , I forgot shea moisture shampoos suck as far as detangling
Shea moisture really lacks in the juicy department since the last 5 years for me. Everything they had worked well in my hair but now the same products and new ones just suck compared to how they were before, like coconut and hibiscus. I tried the leave in and rinse out conditioner and it felt good in but after provided little moisture.
Hey, I was wondering if you can get your hands on Fro Butter because I have seen so many reviews about it. Since I love your curls I want to know how you like it. ☺️
Nohasay Soto it's smell soooo gud xpeshaly the emu oil kind. I luv it. I use it few days. I also have the peppermint oil kind 2. I can say 4 me it keeps my hair from being dry, make it smell gud, n make it soft. I luv it.
I used this with for my usual wash n go and I agree that is was super moisturizing and it did stretch my curls. I only used the the curl stretch pudding for the wash n go and just used the geleè for my edges. I feel like the curl stretch pudding had a light soft hold that I was looking for with out the need for the geleé. I think I will be replacing my KCKT/KCCC with this cheaper yet effective line. I may just try the shampoo and conditioner for kicks after watching your review. 😊
My hair loves palm oil, so when I saw this at Sally's Beauty online, I had to order the line to give it a try. So far, the only Shea Moisture product that agrees with my hair and my nose is the Manuka Honey line, but it doesn't work as well as other things on my hair, so I don't buy it. It's good to see a review on it. I'll post what I think of it after I use it (probably sometime this weekend)
First off, those brows are POPPIN!!! Very much considering micro-shading for my 21st this summer!! I definitely want to try b/c even with my twist-outs my hair shrinks horribly and I feel bald!!
I’m going to have to skip this line because I recently got in trouble by my husband for spending so much money on Shea Moisture products 😂😂. The only line that works good with my hair is the Raw Shea Butter.
Its the cocoa butter makin it hard like that, but ... thank you Kaice I can always count on you for a solid product review... youre my go-to 100% if i want the lowdown on new products 😊❤
Honestly I have personally tried the curl stretch pudding and idk if it elongated my curls when I did a twist out. It did give me a lot of definition but nothing where I'm like OMG! I will definitely use again thoigh. I usually only stick with the JBCO line. That's my favorite out of all their collections
I might just try the butter. I was disappointed when I found out they sold to Unilever. (The company that owns Dove) but they do have products that work well for my hair.
@3:44 😂 I feel u girl ....I try the one call 100% virgin coconut milk line and the only thing I didn't like it was their conditioner omg let me tell u ..it didn't have a lot of slip and the worst part it makes my hair hard like super hard and doesn't feel right. But their shampoo from this line I'm talking about its good and it will makes the hair super soft and super clean. Thanks for the video tho😘
LISTEN. That butter cream is the truth. I couldn’t help being heavy handed because it just felt so good. 😩 I think the flaking is from the mix between the leave in conditioner and the gelee. When I did not use the conditioner before using the gelee, no flaking. Also when I used only a tad bit but rinsed it out completely, no flaking.
I tried the shampoo. Did not lk but I love love curl stretch pudding. I do not apply anything with the curl pudding only leave in. Another reason I lk this product because it does not have any coconut. what is the name of your hair color?
The coconut and hibiscus Shampoo And conditioner Actually makes my hair feel So good but not the curl enhancing Smoothie or the other products from that line....I'm moving on to cream of Nature
Ik this was sent in a PR box from yr other video on ur other channel but Will you review the Shea Moisture Manuka Honey and Yogurt line eventually it just came out too?
Girl I love the Shampoo! It's a moisturizing shampoo of course it isn't gonna strip your hair as well as the JBCO shampoo did. But it is good on days when you didn't use alot of thick products in your hair. The smoothie is good too. To me it seems like most of a sealant for the LOC methods rather then a styler. The condition was ok but it's nothing great! I wouldn't buy it again!

Where did you get that shirt from?
the music in the begining of your video. what song is it?
So we not guna talk about this red make up, red t shirt, red hair product combo. You look gawgeous!!!!
Kaice Alea I just don’t understand as to why people are boycotting Shea Moisture 😕
Tiana Burris I literally just washed my hair and deep conditioned and I was thinking the exact same thing😂 I'm hoping it feels better once I rinse it out
Kaice Alea I have only tried the shampoo so far and I really like it
KAICE... listen! EVERYTHING you said. I wish I would have made that same disclaimer in my video about Shea Moisture because I got so many speeches about why I shouldn’t be using it and it’s like, I’m not trying to convince anyone lol

I really like shea moisture hair masques they are so moisturizing but they have zero slip.
definitely agree
The only one I have right now is the manuka honey and mafura oil, which I love. I'mma try the JBCO one next
Some have slip, the Jamaican Castor oil one melts right into your strands and the high porosity one is really good
Da'Naisa Love that's good to know. I've heard a lots of good things about the JBCO line. The manuka honey gives me good slip, but everyone is different
Amber C I like the Manuka one for the slip too but my hair doesn’t stay moisturized well after. I like the regular Manuka pump conditioner better
I love how honest you are and how you don't try to sell us short. This is why I'll forever look forward to watching your videos
I tried to leave them.... it didn’t last. My hairs relationship with them is just too good lol. The company made a mistake, not the product 🤷🏽♀️
I use the conditioner as a leave in and it’s great! Love this line. Thanks for the review love.
Shea moisture brings out a new line every week lol
K Family Not every week
They have so many freaking line it's crazy
Shea Moisture know darn well that in order for ANYBODY to de tangle their curly or kinky hair that we have GOT to have plenty of slip. They seemed to drop the ball on this product. Your hair really does look great. Still loving the ombre look as your hair grows out ❤
What I love most about your channel is your honesty ❤️
Your hair looks amazing and I can tell it is more fluffy then usually but your curls look fantastic.
Hair and Makeup is soo cutee as alwayss
Thanks for the very informative video! You are honest which is refreshing! One question is this great for low porosity hair?
Bomb results!
Her hair color is my goals 😩
Sis I was one of the SM protestor but I am over that like I really like their products. GaBee Alexandera sorry for asking, but what is this whole shea moisture fiasco ?
bia bueno it’s a whole bunch of stuff, but what I initially thought it was is that SM made a campaign only using white and mixed women talking about their problems with their hair not including us Black girls with tightly, coiler, kinkier hair (type 4 hair) so Black Twitter got mad at SM saying that how can they change the products to suit white ppl and mixed race hair when we (Black women with type 4 hair) have been supporting them for years. No matter what I am always going to be a fan of their line .. all their products are AMAZING!!!!
i love how honest you are with the review ! I got excited when i first heard about this line but now i'm not so sure lol. i do wanna try the curl stretch pudding tho !
I felt like this line was an apology from shea moisture and I, personally, accept. They best not pull that shit again tho.
Slim_ Adri what happened????
AJ Ferguson 😂😂😂😂😂dam u been sleeping hard😂😂😂😂
But this line was the worst
King's Queen Nah, the weightless line was the worst. Though all the products in this line aren't fabulous the fact that they actually came up with a formula that effectively reduces shrinkage shows that a significant amount of effort was put in.Not to mention the curl stretch pudding was great. Analyn Marx really? I loved the weightless line! In my opinion the original Argon and sea kelp was horrible
Screw the shea moisture problem, can we talk about how she used a regular bath towel for drying her hair?
My heart stopped when I saw that! but to each its own
Ok, so what's wrong with her using a towel?
Your make up is flawless
Thanks for taking so much time and effort in your reviews. Always super helpful
I tried the leave in loved the light barely there smell ,but did not moisturize that well for me.
See I did not know that flaxseed helps with elasticity, imma have to start using products with flaxseed oil in it cuz I feel Like my hair is losing elasticity.
AccordingToJaz try protein treatments too (ie. Aphogee) protein helps with elasticity as well. Good luck Jaz
The moment when you see these prices and tears starts to fall because where I'm from Shea Moisture products are $30.00 a bottle 😭
At first seeing your results I was impressed, but then when you showed it in the sunlight close up and I realized it looked really really ashy. Something tells me it is the gelle; also because you said there was some flaking. Great review thanks.

FacesByPureness ohh okay well I wouldn’t say it looked dull either in person no problem!
I love all your reviews on hair products it just gives me an idea of what I want to try before I make a purchase on a new product, but I do want to try the curl pudding. Love your hair!😍😍❤❤

chatamoment02 Do (well did) you have this product to say its grainy?!
I love how your hair turned out as well as I love that lip color!!!!!
Your hair looks so good 😍😍
I just bought the curl pudding right before you posted this video. I’m excited to try it since you love it!

Are you going to do the Mane Choice Boost Kit?
Great review! I think I'll give the conditioner and the pudding a try!!
Thanks boo you were right about a wash and go for this. I had the shampoo and pudding. It stretched a little and weighed it down. I will do a style next time and less product even though it said be generous. Loved your review!
First off, as soon as they said "leave in or rinse out conditioner" I would have been out lol. I loveee love your videos btw!
Your hair is GOALS!!
Thanks for your review. I too still use shea moisture but will skip this collection. I just saw some new Camille Rose products at Target. I purchased the new leave in honey conditioner
504 PrettyThings I’ve wanted to try their new leave in conditioner line 😍
Didn't know this line exist. Thanks for the info. and your review.
I love their jbco line and will forever use it because it works for my hair and that's my main concern...your hair looks good
very very very informative on these products. My hair is exactly like yours fine and low density and I don't mind frizz either . the pudding sounds interesting
Quick question! What is the porosity of your hair? Great video! 💓💓💓
Nice review and that red lipstick tho ❤️❤️❤️😍
8 more days till our birthday! I’m loving the red lipstick & brows! ❤️
Hey Kaice what’s your favorite shampoo & conditioner & why ? I would love to know .
Thank you for the review, good information and heartfelt opinions.
I hate the shampoo it tangled my hair I had to use Aussie moist, didn’t feel like my hair was clean , I forgot shea moisture shampoos suck as far as detangling
Shea moisture really lacks in the juicy department since the last 5 years for me. Your hair looks amazing! Just beautiful, Kaice!

i love you kaice keep up this grind gurllll
My hair flaked like crazy and was super dry. I had to take it back to sally's.
Gail A. The gelle or gelee or however you spell it
I’m going to have to skip this line because I recently got in trouble by my husband for spending so much money on Shea Moisture products 😂😂. The only line that works good with my hair is the Raw Shea Butter.
Yo it's Jade the gamer what is toir hair type porosity? I want to try more shea moisture but not sure of which line
I don't even know what happened with shea moisture buttttt I love you & your content💞
Its the cocoa butter makin it hard like that, but ... thank you Kaice I can always count on you for a solid product review... youre my go-to 100% if i want the lowdown on new products 😊❤
Mama ur always gorgeous 😍😍 ur hair steady getn bigger n thriving nicely. I luvit
Honestly I have personally tried the curl stretch pudding and idk if it elongated my curls when I did a twist out. It did give me a lot of definition but nothing where I'm like OMG! I will definitely use again thoigh. I usually only stick with the JBCO line. That's my favorite out of all their collections
I love the shape of your hair ! 😍😍😍
I might just try the butter. I was disappointed when I found out they sold to Unilever. (The company that owns Dove) but they do have products that work well for my hair.
Great video... I appreciate your honest thoughts... 👍🏽👍🏽
i love the honesty 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
@3:44 😂
I feel u girl ....I try the one call 100% virgin coconut milk line and the only thing I didn't like it was their conditioner omg let me tell u ..it didn't have a lot of slip and the worst part it makes my hair hard like super hard and doesn't feel right. But their shampoo from this line I'm talking about its good and it will makes the hair super soft and super clean. Thanks for the video tho😘
Excited I try the stretch the pudding!
Thanks for the review girl! ❤️
Clicked with a quickness!! I only picked up the conditioner so I'm excited to try it on my hair #notificationsquad 🌼🌼🌼
Your hair is so gorgeous😍
Great video! Thanks!
you look so pretty!!
LISTEN. That butter cream is the truth. I couldn’t help being heavy handed because it just felt so good. 😩
I think the flaking is from the mix between the leave in conditioner and the gelee.
😍 that lipstick !
The coconut and hibiscus Shampoo And conditioner Actually makes my hair feel So good but not the curl enhancing Smoothie or the other products from that line....I'm moving on to cream of Nature
Your reviews are the best
Your hair is beautiful!!
Random, but what color/brand of dye do you use? I’ve been trying to find a natural color so my job doesn’t come for me lol and that looks perfect
Zaneshia Jackson she used cream of nature line
Ik this was sent in a PR box from yr other video on ur other channel but Will you review the Shea Moisture Manuka Honey and Yogurt line eventually it just came out too?
Kaice you look soooo pretty in this video 😍😍
What foundation u use
Your hair looks so bomb!
Yess I love your honest review 😘
I'll have to try the curl pudding!
