I am talking about my painting of the destruction of the Oklahoma City bombing that took place in 1995, Sometimes our lives feel as if everything is falling apart. Some people have been hurt so badly that they feel that their life has been destroyed like this building. Because of the life of Jesus on Earth, and the sufferings He experienced on the cross, there is no physical, mental or emotional pain that Jesus has not felt. The verses for this Artistic Meditation on Scripture comes from Psalm 147:3. It talks about God healing our broken heart and healing our wounds. We can ask Jesus to heal us of our past pains and suffering. Sometimes it takes forgiveness in order for the healing to begin. Forgiveness is not a human thing and perhaps we need to ask God for help in order to forgive.
