Live 12 is killer! Feature request - I'd like to be able to see notes and envelopes at the same time.
Me too I’ve requested it in the beta testers
Everyone's talking about Roar, but it's these kind of midi transform tools that made me upgrade to Live 12
Still waiting on stem separation, a rompler like flex in fl studio and more advanced arp functions. Roar is pretty killer though and the swarm function in meld is so awesome.
can ableton live please implement the possibility to import OFF or AAF files. anyone who is a composer working visuals needs this. I have to use logic literally for just this feature and its frustrating bc ableton is such an amazing daw. thank you.
A midi drum sequencer would be awesome!
This is a great Video - keep them coming!!!!
Very useful advices. THX
So easy and fun👍
Nice! Thank you for the fine video.z 👏🏻
Amazing!!!
I don't understand why the swing amount can only be used with the Push. I was excited about the new Quantizing function, but it needs a swing dial, it would be so awesome to see the notes shift with the swing amount.
The global project swing could be on top with the key and also be used for record quantizing for live playing.
The cherry on top would be a grid that moved with the swing setting!
Sick!!!
Please the transformation tool Time Warp for automations, Ableton is the Best😍
I was on the fence about upgrading from 11 to 12, but now I realize it's more a recharge than a simple update. Great job!
If only audio could be sliced to grid..
FL does this over 10 years now including rearranging pattern styles. I can’t understand why Ableton is making every time a new synth or effect instead of making a better workflow.
@04:49..is there a shortcut to make those chords snap to grid without dragging them manually? ‘quick quantize’ feature in FL studio does this expertly
Ctrl + E
Key changed to
E + Ctrl Key with 12.0.1 update for Windows
I love yall
just blew my mind because some of the shortcuts ive been doing it manually lol 🤦♂
I don't get it On windows E + ctrl and drag duplicates the note and lets me drag it around. How get the subdivide numerical functionality?
ctrl-E and drag subdivides to grid and lets me drag a duplicate around
Can we have a shortcut for the Midi Editor preview (blue headphones) pretty please?
It drives me crazy how many times I have to press that ant sized button.
Hi there - Thanks for the comment.
Please feel free to submit an official feature request!

Until then, you could try mapping that button. It is mappable via Key or MIDI (the small buttons in the top right). So you could map it to a keyboard "shortcut" of your own making, or to a button on one of your MIDI devices.
Hope this helps.
Ableton
@@Ableton I have a faint memory that in live 11 this didn't work for some reason, but I just tried in 12 and it seems to be working! Thanks!
why was it reuploaded?
Because the previous one, had some key shortcuts mistakes for windows
@@thenekcore still mistake cos its E + Ctrl on windows
mac still command + E
Holy hell
12 is such a huge update.
Biggest group of changes in a minute for sure
Lovin all the new midi features
This could've been a free update
Only those who just got 11 could get it free
@felixnotkjellberg
Well I got 11 suite And I don't see nowhere in my account or website that it says is free
@@abelchristian951 the upgrade was free
@felixnotkjellberg
Where in the website does it say it doesn't show up on my account ?
they are charging
@@abelchristian951 did you buy 11 at its 20% discount?
