I display my Lightning Collection helmets on the stand backwards from how it's supposed to be just because I think that logo sticker looks so silly. The sort of tech detailing (that's supposed to be the back of the stand) looks much better facing outward.
Legacy for me all the way, im short but have a muscular build the the bigger helmet just kind of works better fornme. I also noticed the visor on the lightning series is quiteba bit more see through from the outside
So I’m a noob to MMPR collecting. Did either Hasbro or Bandai ever sell all 6 OG Ranger helmets? I’ve only seen red green white and blue in my searches.
That's really all there is. Bandai did the MMPR Red and green, as well as the 2017 movie red helmet. Hasbro did Red, White, pink and blue, as well as Lord Zedd and Lord Drakkon before quietly killing off the line.
Well the only problem i had with the lightning helmets is that it leaves your chin out also the Pink and Yellow ranger helmets are to small. Other than that, i prefer the lightning helmets and they're easier to breathe in.
The pink is too small, a lot of pressure on the temples. You said the yellow ranger helmet as well..? As far as I knew, there was no yellow ranger helmet from either the lightning or legacy collections.
@@MightyMorphinDJ Sorry the white one lol it's wide but is not as long as the red one. So my face gets a little smooshed on the visor. My GF can wear it easy but if I adjust it to my head it pinches my ears 🤦🏻
So I have the Lightning collection Red Ranger helmet and I noticed when I wore my glasses inside the helmet, it was being pushed against the visor. It also was fogging up. But when I take off my helmet, my eyes go wonky, (I have strabismus, and need my glasses on). Ultimately, I just want to be able to wear my helmet with my glasses and not have to worry about my comfort or eyes? Any tips? I have considered putting in a helmet fan and padding for extra support in general.
You could invest in athletic glasses. Or, If possible, remove the visor from the helmet and replace it with tinted glass at your prescription. I have no idea how you would accomplish this, but it crossed my mind. You could also try playing with the helmet strap to try and wear the helmet more forward on your head to give your glasses more space.
Yeah, I don't see how that was possible unless the two halves were made in different places or at least, two different parts of the factory. bad process.
Legacy is better overall IMO. The dull paint is really the major, yet only downside that I have. Everything else is great. It looks fantastic. The lightning is small, oddly shaped helmet, visor isn’t dark enough, and also the overall design of the helmet and visor is not accurate. It just looks like a poor, cheap costume attempt.
They're both terrible helmets and throws off the aesthetic of the cosplay especially if you're going for attention to detail just invest in an aniki helmet or another prop maker these are just toy buckets
They aren't perfect by any stretch of the imaginaction, but they are good enough for those on a budget. They're also perfect if you aim is to do something unique and different.
I have the red legacy helmet, thinking about getting the lightning one. My one hold up is the visor being a little more see-through
Yeah, it is a little more see-through, but the lightning helmet is much more comfortable. At least for me anyway.
Keep in mind in the show the Rangers wore a padded neck brace in the scenes where the helmets came off and on
Just got my Lightning collection helmet. I absolutely love it 😊
I'm excited for you, I really like mine as well. I think it's great for cos-play and looks fantastic on display.

I don't blame you, It might be a good idea to remove the strap in install some padding though.

I just got my white ranger helmet and I love it even though my chin does come out from the bottom!
Yeah, that is definitely a down side. but, with the right sock/mask to cover the bottom of your chin, it doesn't look as bad.

Nice to see your back again.
Looking forward to see more of your videos
The legacy helmets are huge
Yes, they are, especially the Green Ranger Helmet. That thing in Ginormous.
Aniki is the best truly
Hard to argue with you. I've yet to order from them, though.
Im not a fan of the magnets they come apart when I turn my head which is the only issue I have
That was my worry as well. Luckily, that hasn't happened to me but I would rather it have had clasps.
I am still trying find a red ranger helmet
Hasbro may be re-releasing the Red Ranger Helmet soon... I heard a Rumor...
@@MightyMorphinDJ that’s awesome hopefully it’s true cause it’s hard find anywhere GameStop doesn’t even sale it
They are sold everywhere online 🤦🏻
Legacy
Why they put clips when the show no clips
I have no idea, lol. Corporate decisions always lead to things that make no sense.
They did the same stupid thing with the white helmet as well, how hard would it be for them to make both halfs the same color? Lol come on Hasbro

I would use the Legacy for cosplay, but I just can't seem to Adjust it in a way that is comfortable and stays off the back of my neck.
neither of them are particularly accurate in terms of shape/size/details.
I felt that way about both

You are really upset over this aren’t you?
