    Guys if you have a 2005 i life me you may need to take off the ac buttons and you'll find 2 screws holding the whole thing. I was frustrated cause his came off easy while mime looked like you could tow the whole car from the radio alone.

    Thanks for the education on disassembly. What if I want to put in a new radio? A Bluetooth touch screen with reverse camera? Do I have to cut that center console into bits?

      They make an aftermarket plastic piece online for that

      @@justanothermechanic8740 I’m doing the same thing. I notice that the aftermarket piece doesn’t seem to have the A/C covers. What should I do about that?

    It's worth saying that there is only one bolt on the side of the radio which you get to by removing the glovebox. This is regardless of the car being left or right hand drive - you get to it via the glovebox. There is no bolt on the steering wheel side (driver's side) of the radio.

    It was frustrating that I couldnt find the bolt from within the glovebox as it turned the bolt wasnt there to begin with

    I would like to install this on my mazda 6 2004, with analog air conditioning buttons, is it possible?
