Jenny, you have such a friendly, upbeat personality and great sense of humor! I always feel happy and inspired after watching your videos!! Thank you for the daily dose of niceness! 💕🌸🌱
Good morning! WE FINALLY RECEIVED RAIN IN RAEFORD!!! I bought Caladiums for some pots in my semi shade garden. I'll put them in today. I had to buy pots because something at them when they were in the ground. Enjoy your weekend!
Love this content, I always need a refresher course and/or a reminder to tend to some of my perennials (especially the macrophylla hydrangeas...we just can't miss that window). Sometimes it's not all about the garden tour, but what we should be doing to maintain our gardens throughout the year; you do an excellent job of balancing both. Some people don't like the hosta flowers, and I tend to agree (some are better than others), but I keep them for the pollinators...especially the humming birds. Really enjoy your channel and your positive upbeat personality.
Oh boy Jenny! This is the kind of videos I die for. Equipped with my notepad video camera and of course I save your video. Not only is it so informative you show a close-up of exactly how to do what you are explaining it clarified some questions I still had and made me a more confident gardener. Thank you so much for this video.!
Jenny, you read my mind 😂 That's exactly what I was planning to do this morning!! And I have so many of the same plants...so this is a great reminder of specifically what to do! You're the best 🥰
Jenny your shade garden is gorgeous. Thank you so much for all the information on maintaining it. Berna is beautiful. Haven't heard anyone say toodles in a minute. Hope you have a wonderful weekend 🤗💓💕💞
I have been thinking I need to cut back my mac hydrangeas but have dithered about stressing these plants because of our extreme heat and lack of rain. Now that we have rain on the horizon and a timeline, I can proceed with confidence. Thank you Jenny! ❤
This spring, had a bunny take down one of my holly ferns; did not eat it, just laid waste to it. But these are staples in my garden. Great year around interest!
What an excellent video. I was just thinking about getting out in garden to do some pruning but wasn’t sure how(coral bells) Avid viewer from Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 zone 5b
Thank you jenny always informative video's as im planning to add a Camilla this fall cross my fingers texas weather, brena was ready to go inside too😊 your shade bed is GORGEOUS🌱💚
My bleeding heart turned yellow already. Trimmed it back and now looks like new growth has started and green. Now what? I’m zone 7b, south of Nashville….we just had the hottest weather ever too.
Jenny-I struggle with an area that gets no sun at all. The hostas survive but even they have a hard time. Any suggestions? Love all your videos and your gardens are beautiful.
I have 2 White Wedding hydrangeas and this is their second year. Last year they looked great. I trimmed them back slightly last February. I fertilized them with Rose Tone in March. They have grown a lot and they have very large blooms. The problem is that only the center stalks are holding up the blooms. The rest of the blooms are flopped over on the ground. Can I do anything to help the stalks be stronger next year? Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you!
I have envied your Sun King Aralia for years and finally found one and planted it in September last year (8b). I was relieved when it came back this spring, however, something has chewed on all of the leaves. It looks to be either from a bug or slug. Do you know which critters like to chew on this?
Love your videos! I didn't realize I should be pruning back coleus when I see blooms. Does this apply to ones I have in containers as well? I have been taking detailed notes from your videos. I have a bed in front of my deck stairs in my back yard that is literally half sun/half mostly shade. It took me awhile to decide what to put there as my "forever" plants lol. I have just been filling in with different things. I finally decided what to put on the sun side and we planted everything this past spring and it's doing great. Besides one astilbe (which I love), everything on the shade/part shade side are annuals. I love watching your videos as I am getting ideas of what perennials I would like to plant there. Not sure if you have done a video on planting on a steep slope. We have one and I'm trying to decide what to plant that is low maintenance and drought tolerant. It's a large space (as long as the length of our front yard in front of our house) and some of the space is full sun and some is part sun/part shade. Thinking about some grasses (pink mulhy maybe), some creeping phlox. Then also popping in some other things like daylilies and/or coneflowers and purple hearts. We have those and can divide them so we aren't having to spend alot of money on new plants that may not do well. Soil isn't that great either. Would love to hear your ideas on planting on slopes. I'm in Georgia zone 8a.
How do I clean up a massive bed of daylillies that look very messy that has finished blooming? The foliage has turned brown or yellowing during after our heat wave and torrential rains in Michigan
My husband wanted me to ask if anyone had any idea why our crepe Myrtle, butterfly bushes and one hydrangeas that is an Endless Bummer and has never bloomed in 4 years always die back to the ground every winter. Newly 7a/ but I still plant like we are 6b

Just let it do its thing 😊
When is the best time to divide hostas? Mine are enormous and never been divided. Love your videos. I'm 73 but still learning from you. ❤
I prefer the fall. That way they have all winter to grow a great strong root system.
I love my Sun King. It’s in a pot in part shade. 2nd year.
Beautiful
Thanks so much ❤

Hi 👋 Jenny
Tell me about the long sleeve shirts you wear!!
My husband wanted me to ask if anyone had any idea why our crepe Myrtle, butterfly bushes and one hydrangeas that is an Endless Bummer and has never bloomed in 4 years always die back to the ground every winter. Newly 7a/ but I still plant like we are 6b
