What do you think about Disney Infinity? Will they be valuable or collectible in the future?
Longterm they are just going to be worthless or just be figures. There aren't going to be a huge number of working 360s around 20 years from now, and common stuff like that is just going to go to zero in price because of hardware unavailability.
I love Disney infinity! I like all the toys to life games actually. I buy them all the time to upgrade condition of mine. They sell best in big lots.
@@collinf9334 Thank you for letting me know, I'll lot them up. As a collector of DI figures I'm guessing that you have all of them.
NG on the GG is a quick fun game. I think it was the 2nd boss that gave me trouble. The rest of the game is super easy. I like it. The board where your climbing the building is a cool twist.
Nice, I've heard that it was a little easier. I can't wait to jump into it.
Isopropyl alcohol is my first go-to for permanent marker. And I call my SNES model 2 the Jr.
My pick ups lately have just been a handful of disc games. Got lucky at the Salvation Army with 3 PS4 games yesterday for 50 cents each. Nothing crazy, but I will add 2 to my collection.
Nice, I've been getting struck out when it comes to game hunting. "The JR." is probably the better name lol.
Sell me that Demon's Crest. If your will to ship to Belgium.
Infinity sucks. I'm having a blast with my 5 year old and Skylanders. Those games are great fun for a while.
16:47 The two names that SNES originally and colloquially went by was the SNES jr and SNES mini.
I like model 2 or "JR"
Awesome pickups Chris!
13:47 Agreed. Fantasy Zone 2 is brutal. Do you have Mega Fantasy Zone. It's my favorite of the series. The GG one is really nice too.
I don't have that one
17:43 Short comments, you like? Anyways, I've noticed that marker on cartridge plastic is getting more difficult to remove. I suspect the longer the ink has been on the plastic, the less likely it will come off of it cleanly. It could also be the marker that was originally used. Some comes of cleanly.
It came off with soap and water so it might have been dry erase marker
Thanks for the Shout out
Cool Video Man, found you from Retro Tiburon’s Podcast. My ears perked up when I heard you mention VG Express on Stringtown road. Fellow Columbus Area resident here. I haven’t been to Maxine’s Bargain box might have to check it out. VGMX was always my go to, I’d like to hear what stores you think have the best finds, you seem to be in the know. 👍
VGMX is cool, I haven't been there in a long time. I used to find good deals at Buy Backs, but they went out of business... lol. Maxine's Bargain Box in Newark is my go-to store.
Nice scores! But yeah man, those Disney Infinity figures are a waste of time outside of a select few. lol I know from experience.
hey try rain x on that marker it works on most of them but don’t get it on the labels
Nice, I'll check into that
Gsales have consistently fallen on rainy, cold, or holiday weekends this year for me. Even so, it doesn't compare to the number of gsales going on each weekend ten years ago.
Yeah we haven't had a nice sunny weekend yet. Plus kids are still in school.
Kind of on the topic about your pre-orders: How many games do you think you've bought brand new at full retail price in your life? I think I've only bought 3. I know, I'm cheap lol.
Thats a tough question. I bought new games on the PS1 when I was in the military. I really don't buy games new.
I would keep the Boxed SNES Games I’ve been slowly upgrading my SNES and NES collection to having boxes games…. Just sone select boxed games though it would CRAZY to try to collect 1000+ boxed video games. if U wanna trade let ME know????? 😃😃😃😃😊
I'm just not into super Nintendo CIB, I do love NES boxes though lol
Disney and all these toys to life things were an unfulfilled fantasy for kids. Just as you spelled out: limited compatibility and inconsistent features across new releases (like 3.0 isn't an add-on that incorporates everything from 2.0, if you have that installed). I do not recommend buying any of these or POPS! for that matter unless you know a specific figure has value. At that point, with so many figures released, it's not only a waste of mind space to track the values, but also a waste of physical space. You could spend $20 on a brand new videogame now and wait ten years and probably have better return than these figs. I think that Disney Infinity requires online to make the best of it too. That's not going to be available down the road without some hacking.
They also made a million of them so even in the future there will be plenty of supply in the wild
@@CMRetroGaming Just looking at trends in my break and saw that if any of these are a good buy currently, buy cheap Skylanders Imaginators. I don't know what they'll do in the future, but the figs are worth a bit now, some multiple $hundred$ I mean, can you imagine swapping a Skylander for a top-tier NES game?
