HOME MADE HAZELNUTS SPREAD BETTER THAN NUTELLA AND MUCH HEALTHIER - RECIPE IN THE DESCRIPTION BOX

    Ingredients:
    250 g of hazelnuts
    2 tablespoons cocoa powder
    from 70 to 100 g of date syrup (you can use honey instead)
    100 ml of water
    a pinch of salt
    Preparation
    Prepare 250 g of hazelnuts and roast them in the oven at 170 degrees C for about 10 minutes, depending on the strength of your oven.
    You have to be careful and don’t let your hazelnuts burn.
    The hazelnut is roasted when its skin cracks.
    Leave the hazelnuts to cool a bit and remove the skin.
    You always choose a quality hazelnut without visible hard parts of the skin.
    Put the hazelnuts in a blender, add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, a pinch of salt and mix until you get a fine and smooth mass.
    Add 70 to 100 g of date syrup and 100 ml of water and mix further until you get a fine mass.
    Instead of date syrup you can use any other sweetener of your choice such as honey or other types of sweet syrup but from experience I think date syrup is the best in this spread.
    Put the spread in jars and keep it in the fridge.
    I never keep it for more than 5 days.
