I made actual billions and in only about two seconds, using the portable refiner duplication glitch. Basically, put what you want in the refiner, put more refineries in same place and then each time you deconstruct it dupes whatever was in the first one. In this case, I happened to have some indium scraps. A stack of 50 sells for 100 million. Filling your inventory would take about two seconds, and reaching the max units in just a couple trips. This works for all items, totally trivializing my permadeath run. For example: duping and selling S class mods, ridiculous nanites.
Just did this today with starship AI valves. I now have about 13 billion units worth of them, and can double that in five minutes if I wanted. Completely forgot it works for mods so thank you for reminding me, bouta get infinite nanites now as well :)

sell to pilots in the space ports if you are selling in the system you are farming in, it wont crash the market
Tried doing this and it seem to work once, the second batch was giving me issues when I was converting back to cobalt. Hopefully it’s just a glitch, I neeeeeeed them credits 😅

Same bro... but it can still work. First you need to travel to different systems and just visit the space station each one you can upgrade your exosuit slots. Do this until your slots are full and leave 15 or 10 open that's 100,000 to 150,000 cobalt then another 5 to 10 for oxygen. Thank me later and safe travels my friend
Sooooooo oxygen got nerfed you can no longer buy it HOWEVER you can make it plus u can farm it and cobalt don’t have time to explain rn at my dogs funeral look it up tho very nice
