Most impressive is how many efforts she gave (that was like 5 separate sprints!!!). Least impressive is the WTF pose Kendall struck across the line - I'm all for fierce competition, but griping every time someone beats you is a bad look.

I think Kendall was upset about the fight for the second-to-last corner. The camera angle isn't the best, but it looks like Coryn raced it totally clean. Coryn was ahead of Kendall the entire fight into that corner and she held the race line. Kendall tried to move up on the right side and then ran out of space. It's a race. Coryn doesn't have to yield so that Kendall can pass her before the decisive corner. Bad look for Kendall.
There's your difference between a world tour rider and Legion. Ryans legs were gone just trying to keep up until the last corner. Will be interesting to see how legion handles the mens race....
I think it’s more telling of American cycling as a whole, as opposed to Legion. They’re still a top team, it’s just American cycling can’t hold a candle to how European races conditions a rider.

When Tour of California existed, some current legion riders entered and got dropped instantly. They hyped it up and once the world tour pros showed up they blamed it on form and other things. I get the hype with legion but these dudes act cocky a little too often on social media and each time they lose, they make excuses and do not own up to their own doings. Idk man, they have a fan base all over but they do the most at times.
I don't understand the gesture by Ryan after the finish line. What was wrong? Labecki just did a long drag that immediately blew apart a whole sprint train then the sprint becomes too long for Ryan. Riders were on different levels. Maybe Legion needs to realize that the time and energy you spend on social media does eat into training

You can't try to pass the rider in the lead on her right side while she is making a sharp left turn. Legitimate momentum will carry the leading rider very close to that right wall while making that left turn. You should only try to pass her on her left side, which admittedly would make it a very sharp turn for the rider trying to pass. I found Ryan's gesture to be truly in poor taste and poor sportmanship. Perhaps she has had a chance to explain it. Regardless, big congrats to Labecki for a truly courageous and awesome win.
Going into the last rap of a race like this I'd probably want to be about 5th wheel. That's exactly where Coryn was. And then you see her coasting several times behind Kendall, it's clear she's sizing up the Legion train and figuring she's got the speed to take them all out.

Well there’s ton of stuff on Legion, they haven’t payed the prize money of their race which was over a year ago, they went to fist fight on a NC crit, the wheel stomp last month, and the list goes on. Also it’s not like they changed anything after being criticized, they remain oblivious and just limit comments on their posts, all while saying they are changing and opening the sport. Too much talk and too little facts to show respect to other riders, teams, the public and the sport. Why would you think it’s just about racism?
