I beat planterra (if that's how you spell it) with it I had frost armour and a flamethrower the two effect obliterated it

Believe me, that thing's OP. It wrecks events like Old One's army. You shoot it in one direction and do whatever you want in the other one. It's also kinda good against Golem's hands because they stay in a straight line.

5:14 that reminds me one of the OP accessories in Fargo's soul and calamity mod wich gives you a permanent minions that OHKO all vanilla bosses and when i was testing that out in Tmodloader with cheats i got all 5 elemental spirits, from calamity, a lunatic cultist, plantera bulb, true eye of Cthulu, dungeon guardians and all the meteors falling off the sky and many explosions when an enemy goes by and not even the slime god last even one seconds againts these powerful equip

After many years of playing Terraria, I never knew of the 'Slap Hand' weapon...
Will Watson useless weapon and hard to get, you need to find skeleton merchant while blood moon
You can only obtain it if you meet the Skeleton Merchant during a Blood Moon while in Hardmode. Has 35 base damage, so not that great. By the time you enter Hardmode, crafting Night's Edge should be easy, and it has 42 base damage, so in terms of damage, it comes up short.
The Slap Hand's real draw is it's knockback. It's listed as having "Insane" knockback, and with a decent knockback modifier, and a Titan's Glove or it's upgrade, you can easily knock enemies halfway across the screen, and while it's fun to send enemies flying, it's not real useful.

Rainbow gun is really good for post Plantera up until lunatic cultist; you just need good placement and timing
