I bought mine in 2017 and it came with 4 15 round mags, 2 front rails, a tool to pull the very front rail out, and the sides are smoothed out, none of those guards around the disassembly, slide or slide stop. Got it $600 tax free at the time off Gunbroker. I still have it, I have a lot of Beretta's.
I owned one of these for several years. It is one of the best carbines I have ever owned. I only have one piece of advice. If you buy the thirty round magazines you absolutely need to purchase a loading tool. Those springs are super heavy
I purchased mine in "22" to go with my 92x RDO Compact, absolutely love it. I mounted a Romeo 5xdr green dot just last week, I folded the iron sights down. I really like this carbine, for "in the house defense" less recoil than the 12ga I traded for it. Good review!
I remember when these first came out they were very heavily marketed towards law enforcement as a companion carbine to officers that were still using Beretta 92s at the time. I have an older .45 CX4 so unfortunately I'm limited to 8 round mags.
When they first came out I bought one used it for a long while but slowly I went on to other toys ( note my is 1 st. Gen) last year was last time I used it. 😊 overall not bad but have other things that are better.😊😊
I have the newer version in FDE. They make a shroud for the barrel if you want an attachment for the “threaded barrel look”. I haven’t did anything crazy with mine. Have a light/laser on the forward pic rail. Sling. Optics (of course). Stock pad/spacer. Charging handle on each side. Only minor cons would be the spongy trigger which I’m sure is due to all the plastic. The other thing is the mag release. It’s not very accessible if you drop mags with your thumb. I have to drop it with my off hand. Overall it’s a great gun and fun to shoot.

I have one in Layaway used, but can't wait to get my hands on it, 😜

It's a shame they stopped those as far as I know
45 rifles are not very common or very supported which is a shame
Another great review. The cx4 has always intrigued me but I'm in too deep with glock mags.

My Scorpion is overall more fun to operate than this gun I would say
@@shazarad4127 yes also easier to clean in my opinion mine is ..

The FDE ones do look very good. I wish they had an OD green too

When I bought mine 3 years ago it didn’t come with the rail or the spacers.
