The planets with heart beats looked like they started as a few massive cells at first and then those cells divided like you see in the early stages of a developing embryo
The first one seemed to be dead with big holes and same for the next but with a heartbeat, it also appeared behind the blue planet because it was just arriving there, the next ones had less holes which probably means that they were more developed and more close to copying a planet to disguise itself to lear in prey, the last one that looked like earth was fully grown and developed and for some reason had eaten the rest of the ones that were there except the sun and then proceeded to pull you in and eat you, this is how I think this life process thing works
Had to find a video to make sure navigating away from the thing doesn't change the ending or not. Disappointing to see it doesn't change it, because having to cut life-support and escape is a cool idea.
One of the log files mentioned something about how organisms and physical laws resemble each other on different scales (like eyes and nebulae). The next entry talks about how snapping turtles and other animals use mimicry to lure prey (either as the food of their prey or as sexual partners- both are things that the prey is actively seeking out). Your mission is to seek out planets to record and photograph, and this wierd egg planet looks like a planet. Coincidence? I think NOT!
It would be hilarious if that spread out starfish of a planet eater ran away instead just to troll the player. Like “oh shit! Got to go work! No time for a snack!”

So it could be what looks like the beginning of life for us, is the dying of another.

I really enjoyed your playthrough - could have done without the occasional heavy breathing from the game but it wasn't a deal breaker. Yeah true, especially when you play it again. But the first time, you're not actually sure what tf is going on until shit is going down. The game plays that unknown card really well and does a great job of putting you in that pilot seat to convey that feeling of isolation and space-void madness. The idea that you are prey and being followed by a hostile cosmic entity that you have no chance of getting away from is utterly terrifying and gives me the shits. I had a weird feeling for days after playing this game, similar to watching 'beyond the Aquila rift' which was a total mind fuck and is only a small taste of what HP Lovecraft was trying to convey with his cosmic horror works. Holy shit son.
Not quite as neat as iron lung, but still cool little atmospheric game. The rapid photos at the end there ways certainly tense. As always love the content and the energy you bring.
I have a theory that tells me the company that you are working with in space that is a company that discovered a lot a lot in the universe even discovered a lot of solar systems so the company sends every 100 years astronaut to check how the solar system is doing so if you see that every mission we are doing we're checking on planets take a picture of it and hear their sounds buy radio so the last astronauts that sends to space they get destroyed by something that called entity it means they discovered a new species of Monsters that look like a planet the thing that's happened to them is not the same of the ending they just get destroyed but you at the ending you get devoured by one of these entities. Let's start from mission 4 you found a huge planet that doesn't look like a planet it look like a dead entity it's even don't have a heartbeat but if you check inside of that entity it looks like it's devouring something something it's inside of it so after completing the mission and send us to other missions if we check on the mission 5 I think our mission 6 we found one of those entities if you check on The Entity have a heartbeat and look straight at you because the holes of this entity's is the eyes of it even when you end the mission and send after 3 years I think or 4 years to Mission 7 you will check that the entity is following you the reason behind The Entity following you and not devouring you or attacks you it's strange even on the last mission the two other entities that looks like the first entity did not attack or tries to a devouring you they just keeps steering at you but the last one that looks like earth starts to attack and trying to devour you the strange thing that the last mission I think that's the astronaut tries to go back to earth and send the pictures that he found but found that Earth get devoured by one of these entities there's something that those entities do if they devour something they turned into it and disguise themselves so anything that available to eat the attacks it and devour it so if you were back on the mission that we found the strange planet on mission 4 we found out that this entity didn't die it was transforming to the thing that it devour it so this entity's stop their heartbeats so that transforming complete that's why we see a big entity look like Earth on the last mission and start to attack us and devour us and I think the last astronaut that the destroyed by the entities it's because one of those entities transform into earth and I think the same last planet that devour you is the same planet that destroyed the last astronaut but why did the other entities that white ones did not attack because they are not Transformed into any planet so they get like scared because they are not under a disguise decision so they can eat but you can change the ending by running from it because if you run from it you will see that the ship get destroyed not devoured by that entity that was all I need to say that's my theory is not that big that's big Theory because actually I was saying the same thing that happens into the story of the game but the story that I'm trying to say that's the astronaut that we are playing with he is the last human live even if you check on the letter as the first of the game it's saying it don't have that good technology in it but it helps even if you check in the game you will see that our friend in the game was connected with tubes so he was part of that spaceship so I think that he was trying to get back to earth but the thing that happens that Earth is destroyed by one of this entities and The Entity transform itself to to earth show it can disguise itself and devour our friend vigour 19
