What a game, I remember me and my father playing it and we got stuck in this boss for ever, then my uncle came over once and helped us defeat it haha, good times.

"On his shoulder, you will get grabbed, let him grab you, now when he is just about to throw you, then stab, but time it right so you strike when your just about to be thrown out of his hand, and that's when you stab. Remember, each stab is a quick kill stab on this side. He will throw you in the air onto his head where you in front of his face, then when you see the dagger glow, give it half a second, then stab, you then roll onto the ground.""...This is the start of the battle...have fun! "
+mitko iliev, I heard pretty much about similar problem on this boss, probably something wrong with your game files (you play on pirated copy, isn't it?). Try to find another copy of game, or write to support service (if you have bought this game in steam/gog/uplay/etc).
Lol, This was the first boss? I remember when i was like 9 this took me a whole week to get to not to mention i was to scared to fight it and when i did go in the arena i fucking lost.
I remember I never got through that boss because at the time the actual bossfight was starting my PS2 was freezing in the point he slams his machete and never played the rest of the game :(

para ps2 não é dificil não, quer dizer era ate eu ler o teturial. 1º vc virá para o lado direito, sobe normal nas paredes e vai pra rampa, quando a imagem disfocar vc pula, quando a espada brilhar vc aperta uma vez o quadrado, ele irá te pegar e a espada vai brilhar de novo e vc aperta o quadrado novamente e ele te jogara para cima, se a espada brilhar de novo vc aperta de novo o quadrado aí vai cegar um olho e vc vai pro chao... agora voce deverá ir para a parede do seu lado esquerdo, faça o mesmo procedimento pra subir na parede ate chegar na rampa, quando a imagem desfocar vc pula com o x e fique atento ao brilho da espada porque é muito rapido, enquato vc pula a espada brilha e vc ja aperta uma vez o quadrado, vc passara pelo ombro dele ele te jogara pra cima a espada brilha aperta quadrado vc vai na testa dele a espada brilha vc aperta quadrado novamente e cegara o outro olho e vc vai ao chao. when you see the foggy glow hit Triangle on the PS2/PS3. this will start the speed kiil. Then when your blade glows white hit the Square button. Now if you are on a different console go back to the first level and follow the guide there. Its easier than you think.

Probably due to the fact that practically no body realized that the eye stabbing part was a quick time event. I remember as a kid i used to smash the attack button as soon as the prince jumped therefore I never got the gray screen.
In the trailer of the game it was shown that he would turned into dark prince in this arena boss fight but it never happend only true pop fans would notice this ❤
It took me a little bit of time to work out what I had to do But all this is about timing which is really tricky, Ive got the hang of speed kill myself but even now i make a few mistakes
mustafa muhibbi first choose any one platform to jump shoulder and wait for blue light and then Left click of mouse and you automatically go other side and then again wait for blue light and press left click of mouse. and automatically go head sight again blue light you click left mouse button . Go to second platform and jump wait for blue light click left mouse button and Giant pick u then light again u immediately click left mouse BUTTON and u go automatically this mouth u wait for blue light and left click mouse button . and giant finally blind . u attack his knees. this is very easy practice again n again u complete this task.... best of luck... I will say this I was truly bad at this ....LOL,,,he grabbed me too many times and I missed alot of Strikes on him....it's like Dark Souls,,,,,just keep playin you will get there and get better and learn from your mistakes and failures dont be greedy. Have fun cause its just a game.
ZlatkoTheGod that's true and the sound is really wonky too!....but hell they are classic games and still sooooo fun. I think The Forgotten Sands is a nice little almost "forgotten" game too. I just replayed that and had a blast.
Steven Bailey Yes it's fun but it's a horrible disgrace to the series as it's written incredibly badly and almost entirely nonsensical, which wouldn't be a problem in itself if they didn't try to shoehorn it into the trilogy's story.
I used to love these games. I bought the 3D trilogy on ps3 and this boss was annoying, primarily because of camera angles, that are just awful. I don't know whether the game is badly made, or something, but there's times the blade don't glow at all. Lol I can't understand why I didn't beat this specific game back when I was a kid. Had some rage fits as a adult on it. Lol
I will agree that that whole shiny blade thing is a little bit weird I don’t know why they put that into the game cause It just caused a lot of confusion even though I think it’s still a fantastic game and all of the first three Prince of Persia games are wonderful but they do have some problems

Prince of persia series should launch again in high hd graphics
and make sure that everytime your blade glows white you have to hit the action button. Some bosses might take 3 or for times....just focus.
