Mark for the three stars, the most painful thing everyone is having an issue with is an arcade game that you most likely missed is replaying the ball roller game again, although the game "claims" you've played all the arcade games the ball roller is oddly not included in that, 8-bit Ryan encountered the same issue when he was doing complete runs
He also forgot to do the collecting hats minigame unless he just didn't show it in the video, which he might have just left it out since he showed it in another video. But as far as I know from other videos, you need to do that minigame to get the 3 star ending.
@setster007 The comment you're replying to is saying that the game you play with Mike(?) in the prologue doesn't count, and you have to play it again after you fix it.
9:47 Mark I. Plier’s good deeds after his heart grew 3 sizes that day: - saved thousands of old ladies trying to cross the highway - saved a tree full of burning puppies
Mark doing nightmare mode even though he knows by now that he doesn't need to be for the other endings is purely because: HE'S THE KING! OF FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S!
Like, I'd get it if it was for cheats like in Five nights at fuckbois, how they made you hit a door like a thousand times for an item that'll basically last the entire game, but 10 would be more than enough for a "required" minigame in an actual fnaf game
100 is without a doubt excessive but I understand that it might be due to candy cadet, you use lots of tokens to get all secrets from candy cadet so it makes some sense
it’s not bad game design it’s bad game design to make it required for one of the endings. Dying light does the same thing but it’s not poorly implemented
@@mortison7Its not classic fnaf, the 100 times one is easily worse and way out of taste from the originals. One was stationary in a click game room that never changed, this one is a whole town map with hundreds of interactables and dialogues only one of them was to be interacted with 100 times while repeating the same dialogue that gave no hint of progress at all. With the pad you knew it was somthing because the tiles responded to player input and was obviously abnormal when interacted with, try again.
Thanks editors! I bet this was a lot of work! Hard to know what to add and what to cut, especially when mark is just loosing his mind like this! Love the insanity though!
Apparently the candy machine minigame is a reference to one of the stories in the Fazbear Frights books titled "Count the Ways," where a girl gets trapped in a Funtime Freddy suit and threatened with death in six ways, represented in the minigame by the items collected: dehydration, starvation, freezing, boiling, impalement, and ultimately decapitation. She eventually chooses decapitation, believing she can duck under the blade, but the story is ambiguous whether she survives.
that’s one of my favorites of the fazbear frights that i’ve read. i picked up on the fetch minigame and was curious what this one was. i don’t think i know what the balloon minigame is either.
The girl definitely died I have the book and it said the blade was quick as a bullet and honestly if we’re being realistic she probably didn’t have a chance surviving that
I like the duality of Mark where we go from running a bit about "no running, I'm following the rules" (where it gets him killed several times) into the ground to now we're at the point of "ahh yes, WALKING. SO GREAT FOR MY SPEEDRUN"
My honest reaction to the end of part 5 was: Does he know? Then part 6 came out, nightmare mode was mentioned again and i went "Oh, he does NOT know, nobody told him....oh no..."
He prolly played it before seeing the comments and/or just also wanted to do Nightmare thinking there might be an even BETTER ending to avoid spoiling himself beyond requirements. Tis a shame knowing he still didn't succeed. Agreed, tho.
@@IERServerSince he did all the three secret minigames + obtained all dad's items, there's only two reasons for this: either he didn't repair and played all the arcade machines (from the present) or you must get the second star ending first. In the second case, it would be really easy to get the three stars ending since he has a checkpoint in Night 5, so it would be just about repeating the Eleanor minigame and go to the ball pit...
I don’t think we’ll get a part seven. I think Mark has done enough. The ending where you get three stars, it’s just where you fix all the arcade machines, and do other stuff, and have Jeff have a successful pizzeria, without him dying at the hands of Into the Pit SpringBonnie. While there are still secrets that mark hasn’t found, he can always look it up. Overall, I think mark genuinely enjoyed this game, and I’m excited for him to play Secret of the Mimic next!!!!! 😱😀👍
I think it's impressive that he looked up what he needed to do but not that he didn't need to do it on Nightmare. But it led to the star bit at the end so his suffering was worth it.
I love how when Mark found that there’s a Nightmare mode he’s like “oh! I NEED to do that to complete the game!” All bc he’s so used to the good ol’ days where to get one of the stars you have to complete the super-difficult 20/20/20/20 mode. But unfortunately, that might not be how it works anymore 🥲 I miss those days.
He needed to get all the dad collectibles and the strange old photo. The rabbit gets distracted from the old photo giving enough time to get the good ending
The "Grant her wish" minigame is a reference to the second Fazbear Frights story, "To Be Beautiful", where a robot named Eleanor that looks like Slenderman meets Circus Baby gives a girl a pendant that gives the illusion of her being beautiful, all the while Eleanor is replacing bits of her with scrap metal, and then when she loses the pendant, she collapses into a pile of metal.
I'm surprised he hasn't already disabled the sticky keys shortcut. That is usually something that very quickly pops up when I play a game if I haven't disabled it already. Tells dad that he got knocked out when he slipped on a ball when he went to pick him up on the day before school started to hide the story from him. Probably will notice the missing time later, but not at the moment. Then tells dad he may be suspended from school, while dad still thinks it is currently before school started.
I was mentally going like...Oswald...he's been out of it for 4 days. And everyone you talk to will mention he was moving and doing stuff for 4 days but apparently he was teleported from Freddie's without his car
Jumping to the conclusion that a character has badly written mental illness instead of the possibility that the game itself is badly written with plot holes?
Hey Mark, to deal with sticky keys so it never pops up again is kind of counter intuitive - you need to enable it after it comes up, and THEN you open the sticky keys menu and disable it. It won't pester you ever again after that.

So for the 3 star ending you need some extra hat in a mini game or something, but the ending isn’t much different then the one mark got, it just ends with the whole family eating pizza at Jeff’s when the restaurant is all bustling and busy and doing well, Jeff’s even got a new suit outfit for his new restaurant
@@TyrannoJoris_Rex as far as i know you just need to play every game once, the music is unlockable and show just once so you would either remember the minimal points necessary to unlock it or do more “just to be safe”
I feel like the weird sequence with the kid consuming a bunch of stuff and crying green tears is referencing something, but I'm not sure what it is. Interacting with the candy machine 100 times to get that is sort of excessive though. Circus Baby has interesting wishes. Wonder why the photo triggered the evil animatronic.
the photo is of william afton (purple guy) and henry, and i think the monster is made up of the kids' + afton's agony (the energy that was made when the kids were murdered and afton was springlocked or went thru some other misery), so i think the monster thinks he's afton and therefore got freaked out seeing the photo
From what I saw in Insym's playthrough, you need to repair all the arcade machines and then go to Jeff and talk to him, gives you a coupon for repairing everything, but that inspires Jeff to also start fixing things around the pizzeria, that being Jeff's good ending and I believe what gives you the 3rd star.
@@tsukii28he needs to get the picture of "two men in an office" (afton and henry) to at least get the 2nd star, to get 3 star he needs to repair all arcade cabinets, get that photo, collect all the dad collectibles + the stickers i think, and beat the secret minigames (one u get by calling mom on night five, the other u need to click the candy machine a bunch, then the balloon boy secret part of the game)

@@VVVTimmyVVV man it takes max five minutes to perfectly crop that star, and hes only gotta do it once, then its just copying and pasting. Lixian is a good editor and animator besides, but that is not a difficult thing to do at all.
Wow, that’s really bad design for a horror game, where being fast and precise are sometimes the difference between losing and winning. That’s like making it so the lights in FNAF 1 turn on when you pan the camera over to their respective doors, or pallets in Dead By Daylight automatically getting pushed over if survivors run a little too close to them.
I mean I can understand why it's designed like that. In the instance you're running and need to in a split second interact with stuff a lot of folk would screw that up and just get infinitely frustrated, but if you know this is the case then you just give things you don't want to interact with a wide berth. It's just Mark didn't absorb that info
@@DawnbringerAuraI'm pretty sure he doesn't auto interact with everything, in the tips section it said he opens doors automatically when he's sprinting that is to say, when you're running you'll go through doors automatically without interacting which saves time when you're being chased, outside of that I'm sure you don't auto interact, or at least in my experience I didn't
@@Bluarlequinno Even still, it seems like unnecessary baby proofing, and the split second timesaver of pressing E instead of sprinting into things to activate them is so minuscule that you’re more likely to die by Oswald waffling about before interacting with something that you accidentally sprinted too close to. It’s just not good design, the drawback of control inaccuracy heavily outweighs such an inconsequential timesave, and I’ve never even heard of “Pressing the interact key isn’t fast enough” as a problem in any game to begin with. Unless you’re Dean Takahashi I guess. And on that note, why is a FNAF game being so hand holdy anyway? Not that Into The Pit is the most terrifically difficult game outside of permadeath runs, but isn’t a big part of any FNAF learning the system and getting better at mastering it? Some entries execute the concept better than others of course, but I don’t think any of them had anything close to a panic interaction, as adding such detracts from arguably one of the most important aspects of horror games in general; player agency. It’s that agency that makes avoiding Xenomorphs in Alien: Isolation or the insane/posessed in Outlast such a thrilling experience. Those games don’t suddenly shake a rattle in the player’s face when trouble becomes an active threat, so much so that carelessly trying to save in an area Working Joes or Xenomorphs are in Alien: Isolation can get you killed; the game trusts you with the agency to save when it’s a safe time to do so, and removing that agency from the player noticeably and very obviously tones down the thrilling aspect of the game as a whole.

If anyone ever read the novel version of this game, the two “secret” games are actually the other 2 stories included in the novel (it’s like a three story per book kinda thing) SPOILERS: which is “To Be Beautiful” which shows someone replacing body parts to make it more ‘beautiful’, and “Count the Ways” which shows the picking of painful ways to die (as shown in the other minigame).
35:40 that is the ending in the book if i remember correctley. Edit: on the last page of the book: "together, they opened the door into the fresh night air behind them, jeff called, "hey kid! You forgot your soda!" On page 66. So it is never said if jeff dies or not. So the ending in the game is just there for a 3rd star.

I think the ball roller at the very beginning might count, which would explain it.
He also forgot to do the collecting hats minigame unless he just didn't show it in the video, which he might have just left it out since he showed it in another video. But as far as I know from other videos, you need to do that minigame to get the 3 star ending.

Mark doing nightmare mode even though he knows by now that he doesn't need to be for the other endings is purely because:

not my brain reading this in Mark's screaming voice XD
At least the game dev aren't purely sadistic 😅
Well it's not the first time he's made a fnaf game harder than it has to be for himself. Not even the first time this month either.
Interact with something 100 times is just a really bad and unrewarding secret that you would never have a chance of finding without looking it up
i mean that’s classic fnaf, the numpad for the fnaf 3 office is my favorite personally bc of this
Like, I'd get it if it was for cheats like in Five nights at fuckbois, how they made you hit a door like a thousand times for an item that'll basically last the entire game, but 10 would be more than enough for a "required" minigame in an actual fnaf game

It says the blade shot as quick as a bullet so there is no way she could’ve ducked in time
Just like the one that happens when you call your mom is a reference to Eleanor! They're all the stories in Into The Pit :)
that’s one of my favorites of the fazbear frights that i’ve read. i picked up on the fetch minigame and was curious what this one was. i don’t think i know what the balloon minigame is either.
Honestly out of all of those options, she chose the quickest one at least. Pretty smart of her.
28:06 of course! Ghost children are always good signs👌

@@IERServerSince he did all the three secret minigames + obtained all dad's items, there's only two reasons for this: either he didn't repair and played all the arcade machines (from the present) or you must get the second star ending first.

Hey Mark, to deal with sticky keys so it never pops up again is kind of counter intuitive - you need to enable it after it comes up, and THEN you open the sticky keys menu and disable it. It won't pester you ever again after that.
It’s not even that hard, just go to settings, accessibility, sticky keys, and then you can turn off the keyboard shortcut
or just uncheck the box that says open sticky keys after pressing shift 7 times

I am so happy Mark actually remembers that game, considering his tendency to forget stuff.
7:25 I tested it out and actually it appears to be that Ozwald auto-interacts if you press him up against something interactable
Only when you sprint but yeah, back in episode one it tells him that he will auto interact when sprinting
