Whats up brother! Glad to see you in the New Year! Nobody is putting new videos out for some reason, so really great to see you. Looking good too with the new hair cut! I approve! Looking forward to a great new year with my favourite content creator!
Love the various hair styles you've had the past 2yrs. Really appreciate these videos. Definitely a huge help for me switching from photojournalism to product photography.
You are a great artist. I have literally become your fan because you’re just a genius. I love that how you use basic stuff and turn the shot into a masterpiece. I am shocked that why you don’t have millions of subscribers because you really deserve at least 2m subscribers. Love you bro…. All the best 👍🏻
Hey Dustin! Love the channel and tutorials. Would you be able to do a workphlo on shooting multiple of similar products where you want a consistent look? That is, having a setup that can work for a line of products without speedlights moving, and other considerations like that. Many thanks!
fantastic tutorial, I little more details what type of masks and what you pressed, maybe edit version where you see text of what your pressed. great video
Dustin, the acrylic shooting plate link takes us is black, while the one in your video appears to be transparent. Do you have a transparent version available?
Hi Vic- we switched over to Clear Material and on the linked page it explains you will recieve a clear product. In the process of switching to new imagery, Cheers!
Hey B. Allen! It would be my pleasure! f/13 ISO 100, 1/200s. My settings are the same (give or take f/11-f/16) for 99% of my shots, so I apologize for not alluding to this consistently! All the best,
@@workphlo just a quick question about your shutter speed. Since the cameras always on a tripod, why not do super long exposures? Like one second or something? Sorry for the amateur question just wondering.
I don't know but in my mind they're two separate things. Tether with a cord out the side of the camera and the remote trigger is for the hotshoe. I've done it once. But I discovered my 77D won't shoot in live mode with a non Canon trigger.
I shoot full time for multiple companies and use these style of pop up diffusion panels all the time. Question: does anyone else ever find the black borders of them showing up in super reflective objects? I've spent a lot of time in shoots trying to troubleshoot where black areas are coming from and I think sometimes its this. I wonder if there are any out there without the black borders.

The hair cut threw me, i was like what Dustin got a hair cut had to rewind 🤣🤣
Wait, you didn't do any lessons on how to shoot a highly reflective mullet! Gotta grow it back now.
Knew something was off… ^ ^
@@JeffGeerling ok that made me laugh!
Last year I purchased Dustin's product table gear, and it turned out to be really useful for all kinds of work. Highly recommended.

As a huge fan. Love to know this highly classified material. What is ISO? Aperture? Shutter speed?.
See above ❤️
I can't really composit as my camera moves. Do you know how it can be fixed. I put camera on tripod and I trigger remotely. Thanks

Love you.
Hey Dustin! Ive been shootin a lot of plastic bottles for catalog, specially clear and translucent bottles, can you help me? ☺️
wow........
Dustin continues to teach us how to take beautiful pictures without telling us his camera settings. I believe they are highly classified.

Does anyone know how he is shooting with wireless remote trigger WHILE being tethered to (Im assuming) Capture One? Thanks!

How would a simple lightbox compete with this setup?
You must have used the Clipping Path to cut your hair.
I can’t watch this channel anymore. It’s more about Photoshop than it is about photography.
And if you can't say it on the video. Maybe you can blink it in Morse code.
