Yeah! I think seeing games and the thought process behind them is super useful. Shows how he uses all the principles he teaches innately because hes drilled them so hard.
I feel proud to see that my teacher makes Fabiano Caruana defend with the white pieces throughout the match. This makes you feel that you are learning chess in the right place. Greetings from Egypt.❤❤
Sac the queen! 1. ... Qh2+ 2. Kxh2 2. Rf1# Yes, do show your other game that was more positional. Your explanations and advice on how to think in a game are superlative.
I would love to see you do speedruns and play live games while giving commentary. I love your channel and am a fan! Really helped me improve thank you for that

Awesome game Igor! Here the solution to the puzzle: Qh2+, Kxh2 is forced Rf1 is a checkmate, because it leads to a discovered check by the dark squared bishop. The rook prevents the King from moving to h1 and the pawn prevents the king from going to h3.
This channel is gold. The ideas are more easier to follow as compared to mainstream channels. Also what engine do you use to analyze positions. Like Stockfish 16 breaks apart in certain positions whereas komodo dragon is easily able to navigate.
In your final position, ... Qh2+!! (followed by ... Rf1#) is brilliant - Bravo! (of course) speaking only for myself, I would appreciate seeing your other game against Fabi. I generally prefer seeing more positional games - I just watch your channel because I need tactical practice more than anything else!
... Rf3 opens up the diagonal and threatens mate. If white captures with Qxf3 (since bishop is pinned), then ... gxf3 with M1 threat by ...Qxg2#, and if white doesn't capture and plays and other move, then checkmate by ...Qh2#
Yes please . Really enjoyed your tactical insight re mobilising rook / queen , delaying exchanges , “fill in “ moves , leaving opponents pawns as defensive obstacles etc . A lot of fun !
I believe the move is Rf5/Rf6/Rf7/Rf8, anyretreat move to stop blocking the queen-bishop battery, then Qh2# is unavoidable Oh, just checked with stockfish, which can delay one move by Qf3 sacrificing the queen, so this works but not as good as Qh2+ followed by Rf1# as others mentioned
This video echoes the importance of logistics in war, i.e. getting all your troops and supplies in the best position to reach the appropriate places and battlefields. Counterpoint to beginners who just jump in and play hero with single pieces.
I have an question it is quite hard for me to think a move or tactical pattern in blitz game because of time limit ... Can you help me sir igor ????????? ( Can you make a video about it ))
Well, Kh8 prevents the tempo gaining check by white's bishop at d5. This allows you to advance the pawn without giving the check. So, it serves a purpose.
You are the king of the "igor nation" since this match has proven that you are really a super grand master. I have enjoyed the "tactics" of this game, so please make more videos like these & have a pleasant rest of your day.
Super game Igor. I've beaten a high ranked player after strenuous efforts but I know I got into a number of good positions accidentally and that's why the different skill levels, so it was just a one off for me, while he may have played some inaccuracies. I made no errors according to the analysis, which was most surprising. I don't cheat and wouldn't know how.
Finish could be: 1..Qh2!, KxQ 2. Rf2+ (discovered check from Black’s dark-squared Bishop), K any 3. RxQ. With Black’s rook on the 7th rank & White’s Bishop hemmed in, Black should win easily.
i have a problem i'm able to find moves in your puzzels but i don't know what happen to me while playing the game. Its too hard to see through opponent move and finding check mate #

Yer ,Cause it gives me the ways of opening and I get more ideas and how to prevent the checkment.
I think
... Qh2+
Kxh2 Rf1 ++
Thank you, Igor, that was great to watch. It must have been amazing to play this against Fabi.
This one makes my answer look like i am a saddist 😅😂.
Gg that was amazing 👏🏼
Thats beautiful and i would never in a million years find it 😂
@@calihd595 What did you come up with? I just thought moving the rook around to the other side and sacrificing it.
@@calihd595 me too ❤️❤️

Excellent teaching on numerous levels, your explanation on when to not be tempted to simply take a piece can lead to failure; thanks for sharing
Glad it was helpful!
Q to H2 then Kxh2, Rook to F1

Thanks for the great video but also your fabulous free tutorials

Rf5 they just take your rook
@@timm439 oh, yes, so Rf5 isn't good

Great to hear!
What an impressive game! Nice to see you give a beating to one of the very best in world using the principles you teach. Well done, Sir.
Fabulous! Share more plz 😀
10:35 "And now Fabiano played f4, giving up his pawn, because he had too many" :-)
I enjoyed that too. You don't hear very many economics statements during a chessmatch. But that one was really funny.
Great game, Igor!! Your tutorials are helping and entertaining. Thanks again! :)
I see another option. Rook F1 sac. Queen or Rook takes doesn’t matter. Then Qh2 check, king forced F2 due to piece on F1, bishop g3 should be mate.
Please show the other game. These are great videos.

Nice game and nice explanation 👍
Thanks a lot Igor instructive video and i learnt a lot especially going offensive instead of defensive

1...Rf3 followed by qh8+=
1..Rf3 2. Qxf3 gxh3 followed by mate
I mean qh7+=

4:35 My friends when struggling to find a piece in a picture puzzle in a team work LOL
I missed Qh2+ followed by RF1++. I saw RF3, with QH2++, and if QXR, then PXQ, wit no stopping QxB leading to mate.
You're the best teacher on the web. Thank you. If you put out a course (like Gotham) I'd buy it
He has tons of courses on his site.
You can find the course here.

Rf3 my next is Qh2+ check mate..it is my answer to your puzzle coach thanks. ❤
😂 “Due to the inflation the value of a pawn goes down” best chess quote ever
PART 2!!!
Queen sacrifice 😈😈😈 teases the spirit of discoverer rookies.
Sac with Qh2+, after Kxh2, Rf1++ (revealed attack from Bishop
Puzzle of the day solution: Qh2+, Kxh2 Rf1 is checkmate.
nice win!

It's mate in two for black after Qh2, king has to capture and then Rf1 checkmate
Great game!
Congrats to your win against Fabiano 🎉 😃
I request a series in which Igor teaches macroeconomics and tells us about how inflation works :P
12:54 Rf3
Nice video Igor
Against kaspa, weall ve been eagerly waiting for.. ✌️
The winning tactic is qh2 kh2 takes the queen and rf1#
Thank you Igor, you’re the man!
Yooo, you made me laugh so hard with this video hahaha!
Show the 2nd game.
12:58 sack the rook, after queen takes, Qh2 then bishop to g3
The Queen sac is the most fun, but after moving the rook to f6, I don't see how white stops Qf2 mate.
Rf3, threatening Qh2 mate.
The bishop is pinned and white has to sac the Queen
Qh2 followed by Rf1 would win the variation.
Rook on f4 to f1, then queen to h6 check, then e5 bishop to g3, i think.
We need more informative vontent sir like this hehe
Please share your games with your analysis oh wise and mighty one.
Rf5 threatening mate in 1 with Qh2. Black has to give up the queen for the bishop.
I would think about Rf3 at the end :-)
i have a problem i'm able to find moves in your puzzels but i don't know what happen to me while playing the game. Its too hard to see through opponent move and finding check mate #
Sir I think queen h2+ kxh2 it's force and rook f1 is check mate
