Thats cool, sounds interesting. I currently work in hvac commissioning of buildings. I am always thinking of changing to a car related career though as i do have a passion for them but not sure what direction to go.
Did you work for independent garage or dealership as a mechanic.

Sorry john thats the way I would say it here in Ireland. What i meant was what type of job do you do. Engineer, mechanic? just curious as i am mechanical engineer and enjoy working on cars as a hobby but i couldn't work as a mechanic full time as it would become a job and be no fun anymore.

No worries! I was a mechanic for 10 years now I am a traffic technician, repair and program traffic intersections and things like that, mechanic was great for 10 years I want it as a hobby not as a job, I really enjoy being a traffic tech now
