I'm a nikkie fan and managed to snag a pallet before the first batch sold out 😁 this is the first video of yours that I've seen and I am now a fan of you as well. I love that you don't take everything so seriously and I feel we got a very genuine reaction and review of the pallet 🥰

30$ is probably half of what any other youtuber would have charged us for this pallet.. I love that she made it affordable and beautiful.

as a fellow dutchie, i am amazed at how easily you switch between english and dutch. when i try it, it just becomes a jumbled mess
Dutch! Thats what it is! I could detect an accent, but I just couldn't put my finger on it! At first I thought, southern US, for instance, Virginia. But like....a suppressed VA accent. But then he would say some words, and it would sound European. Lol. Got me all confused. LOL

Queen Nikki showing us that every other makeup brand has hella markup and that $50 for a palette is overpriced
That might be because Beauty Bay makes their makeup in China. I prefer to buy from countries with better labor protections when I can, but so many things are made in China, I'm not going to go crazy trying to avoid it.
Pretty sure Nikkie herself said that the palette doesn't swatch great but they work beautifully on the eyes. Traditionally swatches are fun to do & a popular way to play with a palette but we all know they dont really mean much. Performance on the face is what counts. And holy shit those SHIMMERS. I'm so glad I purchased this palette if only for those.
This makes me want to pick up makeup again TT I can't wait to look more masc so that I can start wearing makeup without getting misgendered again (4 months on T hell yea)

I have the palette and can confirm that the colours, especially the shimmers, look very different from what the camera sees. So glad I got to pre-order! First time on your channel too but I subscribed before even seeing the full video. 🖤

everything looks good on you, but sheesh both of the eye looks were immaculate
I honestly feel like this palette is gonna be one of those palettes that does the work for you. Easy to blend, incredible shimmers that look like you spent forever carefully packing them on. I knew I was going to be glad I purchased this.
Robert Welsh said that you have to be careful with it. It doesn't look like an easy palette at all. I'll find out when it finally gets to my part of the USA. Beauty Bay shipping is slow for me.

I just got mine today 🙌 the box was even beautiful, it was black with the palette designs on. Idk if it's only being used as packaging in the UK but man I hope others get it, I was stunning

I actually really prefer to use these types of shadows with an eyeshadow primer. The difference in performance is honestly crazy.
Yeah especially the yellow shade. It doesn't show up much without a primer.

I don't think Amsterdam crumbling was your fault entirely, other people have had that specific shade crumble too. I think something happened production or it has a different formula than the others, but I recommend everyone to be very cautious using Amsterdam! love the palette though, bought my own and hoping it'll arrive soon :D just mildly scared to tap into adam
