I really love that Robert went full coverage to stay in Nikki’s style. A true mua that can do multiple looks without throwing a fit bc it’s not his own preference.
Also love the bright eye look. I don’t know how to wear bold colors, but do love seeing them used in a look. Usually you’re our favorite dark spooky vampire, but this turned out so beautiful!!
The fact that you pronounced the shade “vla” correctly by emphasizing the soft v instead of blurting out FLA... that’s talent, luv

I love this palette and I think you’re right. Seeing it on camera compared to when it’s in my hands is two different experiences. I’m glad I gave it a chance because I enjoy the formula and working with it!

I've only seen a few RUclips reviews of Trinny London makeup, and the way you apply makeup is sooo precise, I love it! Was just wondering what you'd do with makeup that's a) cream based, and b) kinda gleamy...we have the same skin type, so I'm curious to see you work with the formula.
Absolutely loved the thing about being friends with the blue now, makes me feel more normal about hating certain make-up some days. If you pay me in make-up lessons I'd totally organise your things though, I LOVE to do those things !!

I have this, colors arent as pigmented as I hoped for but the shimmers are amazing. Was able to get a really nice look out of it, but its definitely not in the same class as my Viseart or Natasha Denona. Worth the 30$ for the shimmers and packaging to me :)

Those shimmer shades are so pretty, I wish they could be sold as singles cause I would snatch those up so quick.

That’s a very good point!
I feel like with this palette it's not that much of an issue the pans are big even if some of it is wasted you still get a lot for the price. This is my opinion of course I understand how some people might be put off by the kick back

Ohh i also hate kickback because sometimes depending on the shade disposition a dark kickback-y shade can RUIN the shades around them if it gets into a lighter shade's pan

I do not like limited edition launches at all. Creates unnecessary anxiety, plus you can't even save up for the palette...
I wish people would announce releases a few solid weeks before it drops. None of this “it drops this Friday” or “it drops tomorrow!” stuff. I have no time to save up!
Jeffree Star does this. I USED to buy his stuff and every release was *tHiS* *FrIdAy* god that annoyed me. Ever increasing prices, no time to save.

i didn't watch nikkie's video but i did watch beauty news discuss the launch. from what i remember, they said it will continue to restock until there's no longer a demand for it? that way people who are interested will still be able to nab it after payday/when it's more convenient but it's not gonna still be available until the end of time. i could be wrong, though!

My super power is starting an organization project and getting bored at the point that I’ve torn everything apart to go through things and then walking away so I have a mess that’s five times bigger than when I started. I’m also apparently convinced that I just haven’t bought the right organization bins or shelves and keep buying more. Someone, please send help.

It can be very overwhelming when you pull it all out and seem impossible. Its normal , instead be proud that you have started this project. The next step is to put like with like. This can take as long as it has to. You will know what size container's you need then.
Its the sorting and decision-making on what stays and what goes, that can make it difficult.
Just remember your basically assigning a home, a place, somewhere to find and put back any object you use or need. Where do you want to find , what your looking for, when you need it?
I have tried that and realised that I'm just not organised by nature and trying to get organised stresses me out. So I try and find a happy medium. Where there is enough organisation to not get overwhelmed. I'm just a very chaotic, messy, person. I'm not going to force myself into trying to become the organising-god; I'll fail and feel worse for it.

So I just got this palette and I’m not sure if I have the skill to really use it to it’s best ability because everything I have tried has fallen flat. I love the colors and I love NikkieTutorials but I think until I get some more practice in with make up in general I’m just not going to be able to appreciate it like yourself. On another note you seen sad in this video. You’ve always been soft spoken but your tone just seems a bit melancholy. I was trying to figure out why you're the only person I've seen that does a full coverage foundation and doesn't look like you've had a paint gun fired at you! Then I remembered, no bake!! XD This look is so nice! It's made me think twice about the palette tbh

Personally I think colours like orange or light pink are great "transition colours" from a more neutral style to colourful🦋 I think you can do a beautiful "sunset look" with this palette without looking too crazy
I love the look of a color in the place of inner corner highlight. I think that's a nice way to get into color or using a color on the bottom lash line and a neutral look on top, that's what I do when I want color but don't want to put a ton of effort into my eyelook.
Now I am no Robert, but in addition to what the others said as well, you can always just start using them as a liner either at the bottom or even the top lash line. That way they can nicely compliment the look without being too much ☺️ The shade slasher in here in particular works so well as a liner on so many different skin tones and eye colours 😊 Hope this helps
My best friend surprised me with this palette & I totally agree about how on camera it was very underwhelming, in person, OMG! It is so gorgeous, bright & colorful. The duochromes are heavenly & the shimmers in general are so beautiful. I am a color & shine girl, I love glittery shimmery goodness & I have to say this palette does not dissapoint! I was so surprised by this palette. It is definitely one that needs to be seen in person in order to judge. I have been in love with it since I got it & the only problem I keep coming across is deciding which colors to use at a time because the possibilities for looks are endless. The best part is while you can get sooo many colorful looks out of this palette there is also a great variety of neutral options so on the days I want to tone it down a bit I have that option.

I store my eyeliners in a little pen holder from Amazon. Its like a cube with holes for each pencil. Like something for an office. Its great theyre all standing up easy to see and get to.

Also 40+ years into life I still haven't found a good liner for waterline. Do you have a favorite, or one you recommend that will stay put? I love this pallete, helped me create my best and brightest eye looks to date. For a mere makeup less-than-beginner who usually starts the eyes half a bottle of wine down, they blend gorgeously for really nice smokey eyes and the shimmers mask all the flaws. 10/10 stronger than heaven's light.
I'm now curious about how you manage your "off" days when you're with a client and things are not going right..
I mean on youtube it doesn't matter because you can just go through with it or not at all and it won't affect anyone, but when you're with a client with high expectations.
I suppose you use your skills and experience to solve issues as they arise but I wonder if there were exceptionally bad days...

I discovered your videos when tati mentioned you and I watched all your content and your voice is so soothing that sometimes I put the videos on low and just take a nap to them!
