Wow, thought every build you make is 100% perfect. Good to see that even someone as experienced as you are sharing the pain of building and that no one is immune to the problems of FPV. We need more realistic videos like this.
Looks like a nice frame. I hope Albert gets it figured out. This hobby does take patience & ability to handle frustration. I only do bind & flys to avoid this, but close to half have been bind & cursed.
Building still sucks in 2024. One part is bad and you spend months diagnosing and spending money. That's why I like BNF's better. They test them at the factory before it goes out and it's up to them to make sure it works day one.
Cant say I have ever had that problem, built all my quads it makes it alot easier to repair when you do crash. I think learning to build and tune your self is a important part of the hobby.
@@goodfellafpv6876 I never learned to build by building a quad from scratch. I learned by fixing a bind and fly. The only repairs I've ever had to make are replacing a motor and camera. There's absolutely no need to learn how to build from scratch. Those days are long gone. Just buy a bind and fly and enjoy the hobby of FLIGHT and not the hobby of building!

Have you tried the vx3? I got that one but ended up switching to Aos 3.5 due to mainly weight. The volador ones are pretty heavy and props in view started bugging me
Thanks for your videos love them. It honestly looks like you started with a bad motor that took out the aio then the crash you changed the board and the motor took out the new one
After further investigation, I found out the first board killed the motor which then killed the 2nd board. It's interesting all the assumptions people have made from my video without actually testing the parts themselves.
The fact that we put up with that kind of curses reveals how fascinating this hobby really is. Or maybe how patient we are, but speaking for myself, I find the previous explanation a lot more plausible.
Great that you came up with the review, Albert! I'm just having the Volador 3.5" in my shopping cart, still looking at any reviews for the 3.5" as I'm comparing it to the DoMain 3.6". Great content as always!

I've built some 3.5" frames (JM3.5) and got them under 250gr with 650mah 4s battery and 1505 3800kv motors . Extremely happy I went that way. They fly fantastic and for +6 minutes (while not sparing the throttle, cause I like speed and tricks 😉). My thoughts for this build, 1805 motors is overkill (way too heavy). But I agree with you that some builds can be painstaking when everything goes wrong
If you don't care about being under 250g definitely try out these 1804 motors. They fly amazing, very similar to a 5in. If you're goal is to be under 250g, I agree its on the heavy side.
Yeah, those things happen, Albert. 😕 I need to buy a new VTX for a build that I still couldn't fly because of that. Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
I did a build on this frame 3.5 and I thought it was underpowered using 4S I installed the Speedy Bee F4 stack use similar HGLRC motors 1804 my thoughts were that motor size might be too big Maybe was going try 1603 ? I built a similar 3 inch build with using those size motors, and it worked way better.
Bad luck on the hardware issues Albert. I haven’t had many cursed builds per se but I have more than enough half finished builds looking at me day by day :)
Definitely try out the "Supafly" BF preset. I used it on my quadmula 3.5in with the same 1804 flyfish motors and it flew amazing. I need to try out a flyfish frame, their motors have been great so far
Frustrating story! I remember lots of issues the first time I tried to get into the hobby. Would be around the time of Naze32 fc's. I think I got one 2 minute flight in, and then left the hobby until more recently.

Hope FlyFish will start making bind and fly quads soon. They seem to have high quality frames so all they need now are flight stacks.
I hear they are working on this for 2024.

OK, thanks

This is a very interesting design... Especially with the 1804 motors. Sucks that the motor was defective on it's first flight!
Its possible the board was defective and smoked the motor first
It was the board that was defective causing the motor to partially die which caused the next board to fail. That's what it sounded like to me.
