Awesome that the full timetable has returned with the K sets back. I want to start filming again once the rain and floodwaters piss off and I have a day where I’m not working
10:00 Waratah set A80 is my favourite Waratah in the Sydney trains fleet What is your favourite Waratah in the Sydney trains fleet Phill it can be Series 1 and Series 2?
i forgot that the B sets were new i see them so much that i don't think about that when it comes to mind which begs the question why do you not see many M or H Sets around (even though there was a couple in the video) i barely see them anymore it's mainly just V Sets A and B Sets and Tangaras
Hey Phil, nice work as usual. Did you notice at 14:25 two M sets arrived wearing mascara around the door and cab side windows. This is the first time I've seen this on an M set. In your recent Wynyard video the M set at (9:10) didn't have the black frames. Any comment why this is happening now?
that "mascara" might just be smudges from cleaning off graffiti and other stuff since the cab area on M Sets is a different material from the main body
I think they were only removed because they didn't need them with the reduced timetable, now that they are back to the full timetable they need them again. They'll stay until the D sets displace the Oscars and then the Oscars replace them.
@@MsetFox Because, You Know The K Sets, It Depends How Old It Is like The K sets were rare now they’re kinda common on this video. So M Sets are at least 20 years old to become kinda rare.
Great one Phil! Can't wait to film more trains again!!
great thanks phil cheers bob.😁🤠
Another great video Phil keep it up mate
great vlog, thanks, Phil.
Always have loved your vids Phil.
Awesome video! I missed seeing k sets so much

4:48 ah that's an interesting V-set configuration. 2-2-4. With unpainted ends. Wow.
That 2+2 V Set is now classified as one V Set which is V27. One of the 2 carriages there were part of the Suburban V Sets!
Hey Phil great stuff, herd east hills and picnic Point on flood warnings right now old George’s river getting full, not good ⛈
WOOOH K SETS ARE BACK!
I saw a K set at Central on the T3 Bankstown Line going to Liverpool
great video phi and those a sets have got a lot of graffiti on them
Yay
We are back to busy yayy

Great video. What is the speed limit for the non-stopping trains?
I also 2 M sets at Strathfield
are the suburban trains using the main tracks mainly Hornsby via Strathfield services
Phil you made me clever
When will the last k-set be retired?

k sets finally back
Great shots of trains in the rain - something you don't see very often.
Why don't they fence off platform 1 in Summer Hill since no train ever stop there.
Where is that in

That's two different types of train. 9:10 is a H set (c.2010, intercity). The train at 14:25 is a M set (c. 2000, suburban).
@@TANGARASandOSCARS he means 9:10 in another video

@@JenperTV Nope. Three of the M sets have the new black treatment - one of them does not. The black outline is new.
Does anybody know why they have put the k sets back in service? is this a temporary thing or more permanent?

lots of graffitied A sets

They are kinda rare now but unlikely found in the T3
