Yes, it was an amazing tram system. I was fortunate to be around for at least a short time while it was running. My dad was quite keen on riding trams and took me on trips as a child on them quite regularly. Sydney was never the same after the system closed. It is great to see some trams returning to Sydney now.
presumably development will begin soon around robin thomas those empty blocks don't look good when sydneysiders are paying one of the highest for house prices
Yoiu pass my church Cnr Purchase and George St I understand your focus on the rail but you do miss a bit Like the face our entrance WAS on George St - you pass the still existing gates but that got closed off by the PLR using George St.
