@storeycopy currently working part time over the summer while I'm on university break, but I'm joining your program as soon as I get my first client :)
@@storeycopy Yeah man gotta do the hard work now. Although I have worked with clients before and have a case study as well... But these days due to the sophistication, clients don't trust you anymore.
Not sure how to respond after sending my audit. She said thanks so much, and she’ll def take a look. I said “of course! Lmk if you have any questions!” Any tips to navigate a response like that w/out pitching straight up
That’s a positive response! So you can either push right for the call or you can start inquiring about her business. Start asking her what kind of ROI she’s getting on her emails/ads/LP or whatever specialty you pitched for. Ask what her goals are. What her challenges are. Just start opening the conversation so you can identify her goals/problems so you can present a solution that makes sense. Once you have that, push for the call to offer her free consultation, etc. and to go over the audit/sample you gave her.
@@storeycopy Thank you for the reply! So she has a good following and is currently working on launching a program (has not come out yet) but I thought it would be a good time to do this since when she launches, if she needs a copywriter i'd be first in here mind (i'm presuming). Just thought i'd give a bit more context!
@@ryanhammond4331 So she's not monetizing yet at all? Either way, good to get your foot in the door now. If she doesn't have a program out yet, what did you audit exactly?
@@storeycopy She has a good lead magnet to get on her list, and she creates content around her niche with a good following + has a waitlist for her programs that she's launching soon. Good engagement too. I audited her welcome email and rewrote her a new one

“The hotter the prospect, the more likely you are to close them. The colder the prospect, the less likely you are to close them.”
Brilliant
Way easier to land them when they're warm or hot!
Makes so much sense
No cold DMs! Love it. Everyone says that's the best way, so nice to hear an alternative that works.
Yep this is a much better way!
900 subs!! LFG!!!! THATS ALMOST ALL IN 1 WEEK TOO 💪
Haha wooo!

@@muzammilbhatti6691 that’s great you’ve already got some experience and a case study. Yeah you’ve gotta really prove yourself nowadays!
16:05 "don't worry 'cause you now have a portfolio piece of copy" this is golden haha
Haha yep that’s why it’s a win-win every time you outreach like this
Now , I will start

Thank you
