Hey everyone! if you liked the video i'd appreciate it if you checked out my channel and if you find others that you like, please consider subscribing! Thanks!
Inspiring! "It's not hard to share the way you roll dice."' I'll never forget that line. Or the McDonalds one.
Thanks for watching! I'm a big fan of your channel, and really appreciate the Indie game month!
I haven’t played BSH yet but really want to try it. Merry Mushmen stuff is very good. The Knock zine alone is amazing content for RPGs. Thanks for the interview! 👍🏼
Kobayashi's good people. I love his point of view on game design. Backed a couple of his projects with no regrets at all.🙂
I backed the Kickstarter, it is an amazing book.
Great interview! I wanna get "D&D is fast food produced by a corporation that doesn't give a fuck about you" stickers lmao
Kobayashi is a design genius. I always come back to the black sword hack and am amazed at how well designed it is-and how well laid out everything is. I’m excited to see what he does next.
Three copies of BSH in my group - so definitely on our shortlist, when we've decided which of us is running it!
Absolutely the right tone and great design decisions, that speak eloquently from the pages of the book, are validated brilliantly through your conversation.
Thanks Garry and Alexandre. Great interview.
Thanks for watching!
Black Sword Hack is my favourite RPG - excellent balance between simplicity and crunch reflecting S&S vibe.
great interview!
Thanks! Hopefully it was worth the wait!
Interesting show - Thank you. Now to go ruminate on what I listened to.
Thanks Griffith! I hope your summer has been going well!
I loved this interview so much. If I could like it more than once, I would.
Thanks for the kind words! Feel free to share it with others who might find value in it!
@@DiekuGames already have :)
@@RealmBuilderGuy thanks so much!
Great interview! Always cool to get the perspective of designers outside of the USA, as someone who is also not American. Also, kudos to you Dieku for the great content you keep putting out and the great works you help highlighting!
watching this channel I'm thinkning, this is seminal work you know, gathering all these opinion, in one place. Nice ;)
It's definitely been in the back of my mind that these interviews may one day become historical references!
@@DiekuGames my point exactly ;)
What a great interview!
Thanks for the kind words, and for watching!
This is great! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Great interview and also Polaris is a great rpg.
Does anyone know the game referenced at 7:47?
That would be 'Polaris: Chivalric Tragedy at Utmost North', an RPG written by Ben Lehman and published in 2005 by These Are Our Games. It's a GM-less 'troupe' system.
@@chriscotgrove9674 Thanks!
Very informative interview. I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates d100 systems. It's just like rolling a d20, but with more numbers. What's the point?
Seeing the probability of success at first glance. People like that.
