For example, in the event of water damage, you use Isopropyl alcohol (91%) to remove the impurities that are left behind by the water that corrode and devestate electronic parts. 91% Isopropyl is so pure, that when it dries, which is almost immediately depending on what yo'ure cleaning, it leaves behind nothing, thus it can be used on sensitive boards and circuitry. MTG uses thinner, and it seems to work. But the industry standard is 91% IA. If you were to use water, then you'd have water damage....
i have a Chinese android tablet named Vee Dee D10, i have successfully rooted with kingo root and when i change the clock speed the whole screen became white...like it is burning....then i hard reset it....the os does not open after that....i think it has been bricked...but i have no idea of soft or hard brick....my system configuration is 1.2 gigahertz single core processor with 512mb ram 1gb internal hard disk and OS:-ice cream sandwich ...do u have any idea what should i do? and i cannot get into its bios that is recovary mode and all.....

The assumption that a tablet which locks up can be attributed to, or solved by cleaning the pc board is ridiculous. Firstly, i am a technician, and unless the pcb has been exposed to severe contamination, or water, you should not be cleaning the board with thinner. 95% iso alcohol only. Second, there were no esd precautions taken in this video.
+john H Sometime tablet get hanged because of overheating caused due to dirt. So, we need to clean the board so that heat is dissipated effectively. One could also use petrol(gasoline) to clean the board if 95% iso alcohol is not available. Yes, we have not taken ESD precautions will show on future videos. Thanks for the suggestions. :)
removed battery you reset the tab and only this can fix a bug error if it's software error... if there's a short circuit of a bad component, cleaning the pcb can't fixed it. :-)

Is this a joke? that board is pretty insulated inside the case so would never need this , thinners here in the UK can mean many things, eg Cellulose thinners not recommended for this.

could be that the power plug is full of dust, the mains adapter is broke. Mainly when the tablet is dead it is the mains unit which is broke

That is used in paints to make it thin and good and easy to apply. Go to a Paint shop and say that you wanna thiner they will provide you easily 😊

A Ks Seems like Short circuit issue. Try cleaning the board and check the wire connection with battery.

you have to use multimeter to find out the fault on the board
and the component damaged has to be replaced
