    Just received it today. Seems like a good amount of product for the price. How’s it holding up for you? Wondering what the best way to maintain it would be, using a dedicated learner cleaner? Would imagine something less egressive would be better

    Great detailed videos Brother. What would you recommend using to clean and protect the White Vegan leather seats of a Tesla?

    Hi Dimitry, I noticed you referred to using "terry" cloth is that what you recommend or would microfiber be ok? I generally use microfibers but wonder if I'm doing it wrong :) Thanks!

    • @DmitrysGarage
      @DmitrysGarage  11 месяцев назад +2

      I really mean microfiber, which is generally what people are and should be using. I think terry cloth has become a bit of a generic word for some people myself including. Often people even call them microfiber terry towels. Most real old school cotton terry clothes are best for things where the finish doesn’t matter much, but I cant recall the last time I actually owned any.

      @@DmitrysGarage thanks! Makes sense. They looked like microfiber so I figured I should be good

    Hi again Dmitry, any chance of DIY Detail ceramic or Blue Collar 1 in the near future? Thx

      I've got both in my list so will eventually get to them. I can't put a timeframe on it though as the list is big and it's based on total requests. Maybe I'll publish it haha.

    Looks like you take great care of your car! Do you have any interior rattles or squeaks? I don't know why but that seems to be my worst fear when buying any car lol

    How would you go about cleaning a coated leather interior like this after to get the most durability from it? Can you use leather cleaner still and just go gentle if needed. Or least aggressive would be best and go with a simple detail spray or diluted interior cleaner like p&S express. Even a rinse-less wash would work probably well and very gentle….jus wondered durability time and how to go about it after. I noticed my beautiful leather seats on my 21’ Ram Limited look like they are starting to get tiny bit dry and stressed in spots and wondered best way to go about that and prevent further wear and rejuvenate also

      For general cleaning and maintenance (not attacking a stain or something) I would definitely just use a detail spray. I use Adam’s interior detail spray a lot. I wouldn’t over think it, very easy to clean up with the coating.

    Do you any sort of conditioner on your leather in conjunction with the cleaner and coating? I know there are different ideas on “conditioner” out there, some says it’s a waste of time, etc.

    • @DmitrysGarage
      @DmitrysGarage  8 месяцев назад +1

      The coating in this case replaces other conditioner products. Most leather these days is going to be a mix of mostly synthetic surfaces and only some natural surfaces. Even then the natural leather used is very heavily processed. These materials aren't like an old leather jacket or bag you might condition with traditional methods like linseed oil. A lot of other products sold as leather conditioners are alternatives to coatings, just like waxes are alternatives to paint coatings. They can make the surface feel nicer and more supple, as does this coating, I really liked the feel of the leather once it was coated.

      @@DmitrysGarage Perhaps I’ll check this product out. Trying to decide what product to use. Hard to decide. Does this product maintain the original finish of the leather and NOT make it all shiny?
      I find this whole use conditioner don’t use conditioner argument confusing. Not sure who is telling the truth…lol…

    Dimitry, consider vacuuming towards the end of the detail, so you are not repeated your work? Also consider using a disinfectant on the steering wheel. I like using American made products when I detail? But thanks for the video...

    • @DmitrysGarage
      @DmitrysGarage  Год назад +1

      Thanks for watching! I like to vacuum first since I want to vacuum the seats too. You can vacuum floor after but generally I dont find vacuuming first to be an issue as long as i stay clean myself (ie my shoes). The leather cleaner is said to be bactericidal. Their Sintra interior cleaner which I also linked, is bactericidal and can be used in place of the detail spray. I know you prefer American made products, but Vonixx makes good stuff in Brazil so if you ever want to check some other options out I think its worth a look.
