My biggest mistake in buying a first 12 liter long steel cylinder was the weight of the empty cylinder . They have 2 wheight sizes in 12 liters. Should i ever want to use it for a twin set, i have to carry extra lead to compensate it.

You can get up to 20l...per single cylinder...

I ve just seen an advert selling US Divers aluminium cylinders brand new in the box but dating from 89........ Question is if they are brand new are they good to buy or just leave them ?
    Thanks in advance.

I’d let someone with more knowledge than me give you a definitive answer on that. I’d suggest that you request the seller has the cylinders inspected/ tested by an IDEST accredited facility such as a local dive shop.

@@AndytheNorthernDiver Thanks Andy..... I was having doubts myself and I would take advice in the video and spend a bit more than get stung on a possible bargain.......
