What happened to the rest of Ratchet's Remains in Transformers 4? The beginning of Age of Extinction had to be 1 of the toughest things to watch. Not only did fans have to bare witness to their favorite Autobot Ratchet getting brutally killed. They had to see humans aid in his death. Unfortunately the human group KSI came to the realization that Cybertronian remains could be very lucrative. And they'd do whatever they could to obtain them. Even if it meant hiring a Cybertronian to aid them in this act. And KSI and Lockdown wasted no time repurposing Ratchet's parts. Which we see when he has his spark ripped from his chest and later we see him reduced to nothing but a head. Although its never made clear what happened to the rest of his body. It is highly alluded to that Lockdown took most of the spoils. Some concept art also showed him characteristically taking and equipping Ratchet's saw after he had terminated the Autobot. This is...

I remember being so horrified and confused as a kid when humans were tearing apart Ratchet. Can’t blame Prime too much for being angry.
Honestly, it was kinda his fault for prohibiting the autobots from ever fighting back as means of self defense. Optimus always had that weakness of being too kind since his G1 incarnation.
Ratchet’s death still fucks with me to this day 😢
@@NurseAmamiya it’s actually Ratchet fault for even transforming to robot form when he could’ve stayed in vehicle mode and ran away or he could’ve caused an distracting situation to where the humans had to fall back and he could’ve gotten away from lockdown and he could’ve survived

Ratchet definitely had the worst death. He died obeying Prime's main order; "we do not harm humans". Ratchet wasn't even trying nor did he hurt any humans in that movie or any others 😭😮💨
So tbh, it's almost completely Prime's fault he died. Cause Ratchet would've had no problem taking out those humans 🤣🤣
@@PrattformersI don’t think he would’ve tooken them out but it’s not primes fault for his death. He could’ve mobilized the cars and helicopters and he would’ve been freed from that situation but also if he didn’t transform into his robot form he would’ve escaped

You know it’s fucked up when in transformers 5 they were keeping the decepticons on prison but in transformers 4 it was on sight for the autobots 😂
Because in 4 the who killing is cemetery wind and they both killing Autobots and deceptions but in 5 cemetery wind is gone and it change that they will capture anything and if you remember the Autobots in 5 are few cause most of them got kill while the deceptions in capture is the who committing crimes

Jazz,Arcee,Elita One,Chromia,Jetfire,Ironhide,Dino,Sideswipe,Jolt,Ratchet and The Twins just watching from beyond the Allspark as they get replaced by the Second Generation of Autobots in AOE.
Then you don't want to watch the 1985 version of The Transformers Movie...

And not only did they assassinate so many OG Autobots, but also replaced them an inferior team who never worked well as a team. Literally within 5 minutes of being introduced to the new team, Hound and Drift threatened to murder each other. That never would’ve happened with the others like Jazz, Ratchet, Dino, Ironhide, Sideswipe or Que.

I guess I'm lucky, I didn't watch the movie. Transformers 2 was terrible and 3 was somehow worse, I stopped watching them after that

As a Combat Medic in the Army, Ratchet has been my favorite since the Gen 1 days. They did him dirty killing him off like that.

Mostly half of the decepticon went back through the portal when the main pillar was destroyed
It was supposed to be hunt only the cons but the CIA guy who's in charge of Cemetery Wind decided to hunt Autobots as well. Believing he's saving Earth after what happened in Chicago.
Right? There should be dozens of them in Chicago after DOTM and then many more in Egypt after ROTF. That warship that brains & wheelie took down should have enough cons to keep them busy for a while
Well, they did use a lot of decepticon bodies, there is no way they would’ve been able to make as many drones as they did with like 3 Autobots, but the Autobots being hunted down is still bogus in itself
They used both cons and bots corpses.
I don't know why they had to keep killing the best characters. Jazz, Ironhide, Ratchet...
Makes you realize there’s a risk. The good guys don’t win every fight and if they do there’s going to be losses.
I was so sad when Sentinel killed Ironhide. Bro did not deserve that.

Lockdown taking Ratchet's saw is kinda like how Lockdown in Transformers animated takes one of his enemies items as a trophy
That is the only reason I wasn't 100% furious with Ratchet's death scene. If it were anyone but Lockdown, I would have hated it but the nod to animated 'saved' it for me

It's been awhile since I've seen the movies but I don't remember ratchet ever having a saw i thought knockout had that and he was never in the movies

Ratchet's head was most likley used for Galvatron. if you compare Racthet's face and Galvatron's face you will see some resemblace between them like the eyebrows and the mustache looking part between the mouths. And both of them have the same hexagon head shape

Ratchets death changed me as a child never wanted a villain to die more than Lockdown
Ratchet was my favorite character growing up, so seeing this horrified me. Even now it's so difficult to watch.
I know it's all just CGI and movie magic, but you get attached to these characters as kids so seeing them receive brutal deaths hurt.
Same, i remember being so shocked, confused, sad and mad when ratched died. I couldnt believe what i was seing. For a long time, i lived with the thought that maybe i was just remembering it wrongly, then rewatched the movie and confirmed his dead.
It was painfull since he is my favorite character too.. a lot of characters from the original cast of autobots and decepticons died so easily and early
The worst part is that when ratchet was firing he wasnt trying to hurt the humans he was just trying to scare them away😢

KSI didn't hire Lockdown to help them hunt Transformers for more Transformium, Lockdown didn't have anything to do with KSI. He was working with Attinger and Cemetery Wind due to the fact that he believed that hunting Autobots would eventually lead him to Optimus again. Not to mention, he likes collecting trophies.

However, this is Movie 4, which he had to deal with all of the shit from the first 3 movies, Ratchet was his best friend AND ally, and most importantly, he was a medic. You know, someone who isn’t built for fighting?
Optimus had every right to lose his shit, especially on someone as defenceless as Ratchet.
I was hopeful for a revive since we saw Lockdown take the spark intact. Maybe I was just in denial because I love Ratchet so much.

Taking Ratchet’s arm saw would definitely have been a reference to the relationship between lockdown and ratchet from transformers animated

I no joke cried as a kid when I saw Ratchet die. He was one of my favorite characters and seeing him just be ripped apart made me as angry as Prime was.
Ratchet's death is almost as traumatizing as Glenn's death in Walking Dead
Lockdown having rachets weapon would have been so cool to see and would have be a nice nod reference to animated lockdown

Ratchet was not supposed to die in TF4 there was even a toy version of him in JP with his color being white instead of green however the actor of ratchet refused to go any longer on transformer and they decided to give him a fat paycheck for him to say the final lines

It's been long since I watched "Age of Extinction". If I see it again, I will skip the scene of what they did to my boy Ratchet. He was such a cool autobot and died soo tragically like his fellow comrades Jazz and Ironhide. They had such horrible deaths too

Sounds like the writers wanted to take inspiration from Transformers Animated Lockdown, which would have been cool to see. For example in the first fight between Lockdown and Prime, Lockdown could of used Ratchet’s saw to cause damage to Prime, with Optimus recognising the circular saw and later Prime snaps off the saw from Lockdown and say something like, “This is not yours, grave-robber!”.
Was my favorite auto bot as a kid. Completely did him dirty in this fucking movie. I’ve always hated humans in transformers movies but I swear I wanted Optimus or somebody to get they get back

Tecnically Ratchet could be still "alive", because the spark still glows and Lockdown didn't break the spark chamber, only would need a new body of metal and energon, the rest is magic of the spark and energon transforming the metal to living metal, like Mirage in ROTB

They didn’t even have to do that to ratchet, jazz was quite literally ripped in half so he’s dead dead and could have just scrapped him. Ratchet quite literally didn’t need to die.
