Chris didn’t have him arrested even though LAPD asked him if he wanted that. He said no from the beginning. That’s class. I for one would have hated to see that. I don’t dislike Will at all. I have always loved him and his body of work. But I don’t like what he did. To me Will has always been a classy guy. Well Chris has a body of work being a comedian. Give me a break that joke was not an insult. Matter of fact Demi Moore is a beautiful woman with or without hair. So comparing her to a GI Jane movie role was a compliment. And it’s been reported Chris had no knowledge of her having a hair disease.

I have always liked Will Smith. I have always like Chris Rock. But that slap was something else. To do that in front of all those people was cowardly, especially in front of all those people. He knew Chris would be stunned and the way he walked away from it was telling. He did not try to further punch him or engage in more violence. He wanted to humiliate him, and he did. Now, he is trying to make it look like he is the victim here. Yes, he is paying for his own actions. I'm sure his life has really gone downhill. No doubt that has been tough for him. But to say that in any way his childhood played a part in what he did to Chris is Will not taking personal responsibility for what he did. The amount of humiliation Chris had to face is equal to the amount of personal suffering Will is experiencing now. I just cant watch Will anymore without seeing that slap.

Yes, a joke gone wrong could be handled better from Will. At least Chris stayed like a men and took it without making further drama, like a professional. It was a bad joke, but it was a much worse reaction to that joke.
