  • A new ERA is upon us! Elite is now offering a carbon bow, and it thoroughly impressed me! Packed with all the features Elite has to offer this Carbon ERA surely will rise in the ranking of carbon bows. The efficient SP cam with the V2 Micro Mods packs a lot of user adjustments to really get this bow setup specifically for you. From the adjustable let off and 1/4" draw length increments you can dial this in for you. Elite is coming for a larger market share in the industry and I have my eye on them.

    Dude your comparing it to the Matthews at 78# 30 " draw 80% let off compared to 29 3/4 draw 70# and 90% let off.Then you say its slower.Are you a matthews fanboy? I dont shoot either but i know this video is B.S

    Does anyone have the Era with a 30.5” draw length? I have the Ethos which I really like, but I have also shot the Era and love the way it shoots, the feel, and the weight. Just not sure how the peep would line up at that string angle.

    Question: Elite Carbon ERA over V3X 33? Would you switch?

    • @jeffcordero_
      @jeffcordero_  Год назад +1

      Me personally, no I wouldn't switch form the V3X to the Carbon ERA. It's more expensive, slower speeds, steeper string angle.

      It’s interesting how different people like different bows. I have a V3X 33 and it’s a great bow. A few weeks ago I bought the new ERA and I like everything about it better then the V3X. The longer brace is awesome.

      @@danjuteau7368 I was curious about the Era as well. That is why I pay close attention to the newest bow reviews. Whatever the latest is it will have to be a lot better than the V3X 33 in order for me to give it up. The V3X 33 is really that good.

      @@danjuteau7368 it’s a solid bow for sure. But I’m not switching to it. I was very impressed with the Omnia though.

    What strings does the ethos come with??

  • @sammyhughes6769
    @sammyhughes6769 Год назад +4

    Not likely! He has a hunting rig and target rig, all Matthews. Can't see him going to a carbon bow and getting slower speeds than what be already has. Shooting heavy arrows requires some kinetic energy and your not getting that out of a 70# Elite carbon. He's shooting almost 80# on the Mathews and still not a barn burner shooting heavy arrows, however still faster than the Elite.

    Lets be serious here , the elite was a 1/4” shorter draw , 10% more let off and 8lbs lighter draw wt , I think comparing apples to apples would be a better comparison!

    • @jeffcordero_
      @jeffcordero_  Год назад

      It’s not meant to be an apples to apples, just some other numbers to compare to. It’s on pace with other bows. I like the speeds out of the V3x and if I change bows I’d like to get comparable numbers. The Elite Omnia impressed me with its speeds

    • @garyk76
      @garyk76 Год назад +1

      Changing the ketofr really don't change speeds because it makes the draw length a little shorter plus Mathews bows measure 1/4 -1/2 longer than other brands plus this bow has a 7 inch brace height so definitely is designed to be a forgiving hunting bow
