How has there not been a game made called Sit Down & Shut Up yet? People gotta get on that. I wanna play as Quinns.
A board game about reviewing board games, and then they can do a board game review about a board game about reviewing board games.
As a Quinns you use sand timers but what do you play with as a Paul? Knives?
bears of course
Yeah. That was a pretty dumb question on my part.
@@squidrecluse2336 Quinnception.
Seeing you two laying in the floor of a bachelorpad playing a game really goes to demonstrate how far you have come over the years. Also love the shots that show an array of casually discarded empty wine bottles, and overflowing stacks of games and boxes.
Proud gamer nerd here. I like Trains much more than Dominion. Great review guys!
Today I learned that Paul is actually a woodpecker
i know Im asking randomly but does anybody know of a way to log back into an instagram account?
I was dumb lost my login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me.
@Grady Braylen instablaster ;)
@Leonard Fox thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and Im in the hacking process now.
I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Leonard Fox it worked and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much, you saved my account !
@Grady Braylen Glad I could help :)
Best ending ever!
nothing like some vintage SUSD to relax on a rainy evening
Not much into trains myself, but I picked this up, and it's a lot of fun. It's nice because it's simple enough to teach any non board gamer types, but deep enough to provide a lot of strategy and variety. The instruction manuals a little wonky in places, and a few minor things were unclear either because of translation issues or just poor layout, but that's just a small gripe
6:55 I fucking died. I literally laughed out loud
Give the stand alone expansion trains rising sun a go. It's even better than the base set. And it features a far sexyier train on the cover. I would recommend it over the base game.
it took me forever to find the original publish date. once i did i realized how silly my comment was.
1:02 - 1:34 is comedy gold!
The establish shot of the bins is 👌
This game is so underrated. One of my favorites. When I suggest playing it to people, even board game enthusiasts, they typically don't know what it is.
The ending of this video is HILLARIOUS !!!!
You can tell this is a very old video review from the quality. But it's still funny. X3
yeahhhh it is only in 720p :(
That ending.
9:11 Yeah that's Japan for you. Almost all of the mountains are covered in thick forests, and almost all of the flat land is too precious to be left to forest and is instead city or farms. So forest is almost synonymous with mountain and vice versa.
You've ALMOST made me a fan of a train game! So Close! Another S&SD Fantastic Review!
Babies.
UR, 1830BC is pretty odd for an 18xx. Made by the Splotter guys, who also did Food Chain Magnate.
Maybe this game is great, maybe not, I'm not sure, but one thing I can't stand is the board and cubes being used to represent 'tracks'...
I bought it secondhand on the basis of this review. Something about the art style reminding me fondly of Europe in the 70s or 80s. There was a feeling that trains were going to be the future of transit, then Kraftwerk, the Bullet, the Chunnel and then nothing that captured the attention of the world since. This game reminds me of a time when trains were just as exciting for kids as cars.
In other words your're actually plnying a game with your friends. Imagine that
I believe I quote my nephew at age 5 when I say “Choo-choo!”
You could have done Trains, Planes and Automobiles in the same video xD
.....THAT'S what the Decrypto review was referencing!!
This is my favorite board game, hands down. We have all of the expansions, and are tracking down the remaining promo maps we don't have.
In fact, my wife and i love this game and its series so much it actually inspired us to make our own board game, and we're working on an airplane themed game inspired by this. We'll actually be moving to building some playtest copies here probably before year end to send out, and will probably be pursuing self-publishing in some form.
Not enough views! What a great review!
That is a weird fridge at 11:54
yay for time traveling reviews!
"A kinder egg from Mensa" hahahaha
I have seen Trains on the shelf at the store so many times, and haven't once even taken it down to look at the back. Today I learned it is a deck builder!
One of my playgroup's favorite game, combines well with the expansion for a lot of replayability.
hold on, is the screen transition a reference pear?
Looks like a mix between Dominion and Kingdom Bulder
Normal Train. I mean…
Box Cars spawned Rail Baron, which was my favorite game as a kid.
09:17 "It's just a nice boardgame--"
With an ugly board. Come on, this looks so dreary and lifeless. I want my boardgames to pop, not lie there as a flat piece of hexagonal mediocrity.
Empire Builder is still my all-time favorite board game.
Subliminal messages. "Babies".
That was very unfortunate facial hair.
FOUR HUNDRED BABIES!
RIP George
