- With the commissioning of the new Mandela to Eccles four-lane highway on Thursday evening, road users now can reach Diamond, East Bank Demerara, without having to use the central East Bank Demerara corridor.
The News Room’s Akeem Greene took the journey from the Rupert Craig Highway and Sheriff Street junction to Sixth Avenue Diamond, East Bank Demerara, using the new road network.
Guyana is booming. May God bless Guyana. Waiting to visit.
Thank u for sharing👌👌👌
This is definitely enchantment of value and one investment we could never go wrong with as a nation...if only we could focus some attention to government services and service providers.. development of police stations, training and benefits for all government employees beyond what it is now. I think the Georgetown city council and Mayor's office needs a little more funding as well ...
We need public utilities and other infrastructure development agencies receiving more funding in maintaining of themselves for the long run ...
This doesn't only help convince the next generation that all those in service to nation will be taken care, it ultimately encourages these skilled younger employees entering the work force in both public and private sector to stay in Guyana...
Absolutely love the progress love love the progress I am definitely planning on moving back home I'm tired of foreign country Guyana sweet Guyana no place like home 🏠🇬🇾✅
It would be nice to see some trees along the road. From above it looks like a runway.
Please, no road side selling to cause traffic congestion.
Agreed but it is a good start as it's contrete and has proper lights!
@@rda6029 I have no problem with the road itself. It’s the naked look.
They are friends with China. Get some Cherry Blossom 🌸 and plant it along the road.
@@verliesally2846 great idea 👍🏿
LOVE IT,CANT WAIT TO TAKE A TRIP HOME
Woah Guyana looks so nice, here in Jamaica the roads are good but your roads are perfect,it reminds me of Negril here also you guys have a Highway names similarly to ours but ours is named just Mandela Highway
no its not lol , the roads in Guyana are no where perfect. this is the first actual decent road.
Guyana is gerting up.
@@LIME-- Linden Highway and the East Coast Highway are decent.
@Off Road Guy no it’s not stop chattin shit . . this new highway is done by junior Sammy a tt company . In Trinidad there are multiple fly overs and much bigger highways
Most roads should 4 way roads in Guyana! Increasing trades and demands will require roads for truckers, framers, citizens and military personnel. Keep building through all the Regions
@Off Road Guy Wikipedia is your source! Your smart as a rock! 😅🤣🤣
Wow ok I'm coming back to Guyana I've moved to Suriname ten years ago but looking at this new roads and big huge buildings Guyana is changing Guyana flying pass Suriname like a jet ok not going to lie but Guyana has more development than Suriname
Lol, definitely should move here, developing fast!
@Off Road Guy i get what ur saying . Guyana now have 17 billion dollars .trinidad and tobago have around 25 billion dollars .guyana will have around 35 billion dollars by 2025 .its oil.
Nicely done, very professional, keep it up...
Woo lots of roads and hones big developments 👍😎
Beautiful Guyana
The Mocha interlocking roads and other secondary main roadways excluding the Mandela concrete highway should've have pedestrian walking on apposite sides of the roads I mentioned.
Big up the government of Guyana
Nice good work
why are so many parked vehicles in the bicycle lane?
What's the purpose of a bicycle lane when bicycles cannot use it?
This guy has a good voice
I'm unaccustomed to the workings of roundabouts and traffic circles. It seems like one flowed clockwise and the next flowed counterclockwise or did I miss something there.
I hope Guyana nationals are developing their own heavy construction industry to build up this new infrastructure and not simply allowing foreign entities to profit from all this government spending.
Beautiful hiring but it is dangerous there is no traffic light and people are living both sides of the highway
They need to set up speeding cameras and mail the tickets to the offenders and they will be able to curve most of that speeding .
❤️🇬🇾
I wish you did not fast forward the video, wanted to see the roads as they are.
Good I wonder if the blind Guyanese see which Gov is moving Guyana ahead, but the blind ones are waiting for the new kABACKA to give the free oil handouts, and sit whole day and do notten.
@Off Road Guy what indian party, you jackass? The ppp is for every one. your thinking is crap,
