I definitely want to get these for my car. Another added bonus of what these do for you is they let you know as the driver that your turn signal is still on. I hate driving down the freeway and someone has their signal on for miles and miles!!
How about something that's actually worth your customers time.
1. This does NOT fit. It will go into the hole but there is still a gap allowing water to get into the mirror housing.
2. This does not work with aftermarket blinkers. I have the nicer LED DRL blinkers. You cant even see if the blinker is on with these.
3. These are available on Amazon for $14.00
So it's "how to add turn signal indicators to a mirror that already has turn signals in the mirrors".

Can u install a side mirror with a blinker in it if it didn't come with ur car, but comes on higher trim models?
How about adding mirror turn signals to a newer wrx that didn’t come with them from the factory

I installed these today on my 2018 FXT, great product, fits and easy to install, looks cool and works. I used a small saw to cut the plastic rivet heads off instead of a screwdriver to break the OE clip.

Both my cars has it |16 Forester w/Eyesight, 17 Crosstrek| but both of them I don’t have turn signal mirrors.
Very easy install. Didn't break either of the original pieces.
This is on the 2017 Forster Touring.

Is it for sure a useless piece of plastic on every WRX (Sti)? I always thought the blindspot-detector-radar is behind it
The blindspot detection radars are mounted on the rear of the car. If you want to make 100% sure, you can pop your covers off, unscrew the two screws and you'll know for sure.

The parts for this modification are no longer available in the US at Subaru dealers. Do you have the part numbers so I can go searching for equivalent parts?

Thank you! It's so strange, my Crosstrek came with side-mirror turn signals, but with the black piece instead of the clear indicator. My new Forester however, had the clear indicator straight from the factory. It doesn't make any sense.

Great video, funny out take too! I just got a 2021 Forester Touring, and smh, this is blacked out on both my mirrors! All these safety features and I the car didn’t come with this?! Glad this is an option, at least I hope it is!

If your car is Australian with a side camera there’s an extra screw to take the left bottom cover off. Need a long screw go come through the mirror side.

I did this mod today, but the standard black tab is very very hard to get out.
How about the side where SVM is installed? is it easy to disaemble it or any screw?

We got screwed when I bought my 2015 limited. I since added turn signals and 18"oem wheels

How will this affect if i have the OLM DRL turn signals on the mirrors?
I have the drl signals and are concerned the white light will shine thru and become an issue. Was that also your concern?
@Stephen Owens yes, that was my concern. I ordered them from Aliexpress for 5$, and the white light doesn't shine through enough to be a concern. You can barely see it. Good mod for me. Worth it
