tbh you should've kept your last remarks for yourself. The show is arguably the best i have seen so far this year and lots of people on the internet agree.

I agree. This guy is a joke for the last part. I've read the show, It was a great adaptation. He makes a video spoiling The Dark Forest for new fans who jumped in with the show and then has the gull to give a half assed criticism. What a joke
Edit: this guy makes so many random videos, I doubt he's even read Remembrance of Earth's Past. The guy probably used Wikipedia for his talking points

I agree with him. Although enjoyable, the show misses the mark a lot.

Ye is seen looking at a book on "Game Theory" and another on the "Fermi Paradox". Game theory is used to mathematically derive the optimum strategy to use when competing in a game with another person. The Fermi Paradox asks, "why haven't we heard from any aliens yet"? Her joke alludes to these. [EDIT] The "joke" scene works on so many levels, it's brilliant! There is also the idea in there about some people understanding jokes and others not. The San-ti told Evans that they have no concept of lying (they can read each others minds) and on discovering that humans can lie, they no longer trust them.

They can't read minds. They express their thoughts as they happen. These are not the same thing.

@@TheBokdol I haven’t read the books, so maybe I’m wrong, but ‘hive mind’ doesn’t make sense when the first message was a warning from a pacifist Trisolarian not to send another cause it would alert the others.

@@Lunarecho90 In that context, the warning may have just been about not alerting the universe to your location. This was not to keep something hidden from other Trisolarians, but a gentle warning to the naïve.

That depends on your sense of humor. Knowing there are worse things in the dark forest which even the San-Ti fear makes them less intimidating, and more like bugs themselves.

You'll have to catch with 2 books in that case as Season 1 of Netflix series covers some portion of the second book as well.

Maybe Voyager with its Golden Record attached is not so good an idea. It's a valid question, if an alien civilization is advanced enough to obtain and learn about us through this 'message of peace' then will they be peaceful or track it back and kill us?

    • @spamfilter32

By the time they pick up the Voyager probe, they have already discovered our planet and that it has life, regardless of whether they are peaceful or genocidal.

I love your videos, here's another perspective. Dice = parts, balls, spheres.
"God does not play dice with the universe" is one of Albert Einstein's most famous quotes, referring to the idea that the laws of nature could not have an intrinsic randomness, to which Born famously replied who was he to say what God plays with. The phrase reflects the fact that the lack of determinism in quantum physics was something that displeased Einstein.
Nobel laureate Serge Haroche: Einstein was wrong, "God is indeed playing dice" in the quantum universe.
God is indeed playing dice. To date, there is not a single experiment that contradicts the fact that quantum physics includes randomness.
God is indeed playing with Einstein's dice (parts, spheres, balls).
The angel approaches and tells him we want you never to play with God.
