- BREAKING NEWS out of the NBA this morning - the Cleveland Cavaliers have fired head coach JB Bickerstaff.
Bickerstaff led the Cavs past the first round of the playoffs for the first time since the early 1990s without LeBron James, but it wasn't enough to keep his job long-term.

Dude had many chances no excuse for him.. give Mark Jackson a shut he deserve it..
I don't understand why cavs never called mark price. Dude is a smart player and he would have our team shooting high % 3 pointers and high % free throws. The guy made a great career with his intelligence and shooting. He is highly underrated. He was a better player then Steve ker and Kerry would agree and has agreed in the past!
Koby Altman put this team together and made the decision to max Garland, and let Hartenstein go, trade for LeVert, Draft Okoro over Halliburton. He is equally culpable and should be fired too. I want Mark Jackson.

Offensive coach who can develop the talent we have on the roster. Assistant who can handle the defense side.
Only hire a coach whose had playoff success. No first time coaches, no failed coaches. Find a coach whose had success in playoffs, bonus if he's won a championship...

Mark Jackson has experience. Why isn't he a candidate? Was does he continue to be overlooked? I'm not sure why he was fired as the Goldenstate Warrior's coach, but he build that team with Curry, Thompson & Green. It really doesn't matter why he was fired, every coach should be given a 2nd chance, especially if he's a proven!
Mark Jackson may be the coach that we need to helo us get to the next levek and I believe that he could figure out how to put the young players in the best position to contribute. Like Bates, Porter, Merrill, Jones and even Isaiah Mobley.
We have talented players, who will still feel like rookies next season because of a lack of playing time.

Not about the Cavs but just curious, how many more consecutive years of the Spurs being under 500 until they aren't the "gold" standard of organizations? Its 5 and counting and haven't won a playoff series in 8...smh

The Cavs won on talent only it had nothing to do with the coach when they came out of time outs most teams run a play they didn’t if they could get a coach that actually runs plays and schemes they will do a lot better
i wasn't a JB fan or hater. i was in the middle on him so im not mad or happy hes gone but they better get all this right this time around we dont have no more time to waste on figuring out the roster and a coach. Gotta find the new chemistry like we had before the trade whether DM staying or not

@@ShadowSelf216 It's my opinion. It's not race baiting. Under Bickerstaff, Cleveland got eliminated in the second round two years in a row. Under Thibodeau, the Knicks got eliminated in the second round for the second straight year - and they missed the playoffs once,
Thibodeau has been a head coach for how many years now? He's won not one ring. Yet, he gets chance, after chance, after chance 🤔
@@ronniebobbyedition993 What are you talking about? The Cavs got embarrassed by the Knicks in the first round last season. Didn't look that great against the Magic this season, JB is alright but didn't develop fast enough. Would be fine if they didn't have Mitchell but, all this give him season after season to figure ish out stuff is not how the league works. Cavs would've ended up as the Atlanta Hawks of LeBron's second go around, a solid regular season team that would be lottery lucky to even make it to the ECF
