@@nodiyuuyou should buy splatoon 3! It’s so much better than splatoon 2 and the story doesn’t continue too much from the previous one. There’s even a tutorial at the beginning on how to use all the controls!

I'm seriously considering buying a Switch OLED and one version comes with this game.
After seeing this game in action, I can say that I would not be playing it.
Other than HD graphics (ish), it has that 1980s/1990s game play feel/look to it.
I love Mario Kart, so if I get the new console, I'll get MK 8 Deluxe plus that bonus pack.
The ONLY way that I might consider getting the splatoon version, would be only because the console has some nice colors and design to it, rather than the solid black or white with red/blue controllers.

I did get the OLED switch with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and the bundle package.
I'm very happy with my decision.

As someone who plays both games and Overwatch (which was also nominated) I think Splatoon deserves the multiplayer GOTY award it won. It's just such an insanely fun pure game and unlike the other stuff it has no microtransactions yet still gets the updates. Some people underestimate it because it's less adult astetic but it's a really solid game. This is just the story mode of course

I'm still wondering how this game got best multiplayer game of the year award ...FFS ... The jury on this shit seems stoned af😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lots of game modes/battles/ranked matches, game mechanics, a plethora of weapons to choose from that have a sub weapon, and ultimate (which makes matchups between teams more fun), continuous updates which offer limited game modes(splatfest), good customisation that also aid in buffs you can personalise yourself. And there’s also a coop campaign where you survive waves. I brushed this game off because it looked childish but after playing it I had so much fun, more fun than any multiplayer game. Give it a try before judging it.
