    The current O-line situation reminds me of the '97 O-line that I got a first hand look at in preseason because I was living in south Florida at the time. All preseason long no matter who the opponent or what the game score, the Fins could not run the ball to save their lives. It was worse than anything I'd seen in the late '80s and '90s Shula Era. And sure enough to my complete non-surprise, that team set a franchise record for lowest yards per carry. They made the playoffs but went one and done and could only muster up 3 points.

    It is absolutely mind-boggling that the Dolphins did very little to upgrade the offensive line.
    Grier deserves credit for drafting a tackle in the second round and it looks like he's going to be a stud for many years to come.
    But losing Connor Williams, and the other players and not signing anybody to replace them is really going to kill us.
    It's simply unbelievable that every year it's the same damn thing.
    My opinion they need to spend every draft pick next year on the offensive line!!

    • @drewstar412
      @drewstar412 17 дней назад +1

      Nah, Grier does not deserve any credit at all. He could have have had Graham Barton in the 1st, Paul in the 2nd, and then, circle back to get another Guard in the 6th. Along with signing as many Guards & Centers via UDFA. Yet, what do the Dolphins do...draft TWO slot WRs. This team needs to start getting more WRs in the UDFA pool and develop them.

    • @DolFan316
      @DolFan316 16 дней назад

      @@drewstar412 He also could've drafted Zach Tom instead of Ezukanma and O'Cyrus Torrence instead of Cam Smith. Not to mention the infamous Eich trade because Grier somehow didn't think Creed Humphrey was good enough to draft.

    On one hand I know he’s only getting asked the questions so there’s nothing he can do about it but I really hope this is the last time Tua has to talk about this because I just want him to be fully focused on the season. On the other hand I think it’d be so dope and such an f u to go out and have an MVP season and win playoff games right after giving a nice middle finger to Flo for the all the sht he had to go through in his first two years.

    Tua Tagovailoa, always takes the high road. Flores, never can take the high road, nor take accountability. He is a bully, plain and simple. I can't wait til Flores screws up with the Vikings. Vikings fans luv him now but they did not pay attention to that happened here in Miami.

    I loved how Tua turned the tables and put Flores on the defensive for a change. He did NOT look or sound comfortable having to acknowledge what happened and I enjoyed seeing hm squirm and feel what he's been making other people around him feel for years. Hopefully this changed the narrative about Flores being some sort of victim which was always complete BS.

      There's been a steady decrease in testosterone since at least the '40s. Every male since then has been born with less testosterone than his dad, and his sons have less than him, and so on. It's now reached the point where men act more like women than women do, literally.

    if the Shannahan tree coaches think philosophically that you don't NEED to spend on the OLine to be effective offensively, even if that's true why not spend on the OLine anyway. got one of the best offenses with a mediocre OLine (why mediocre? struggle running inside when they NEED to and struggle to sustain blocks on the 3rd and long), imagine how effective the offense can be with a dominating OLine. can't be stopped except health.

      Salary cap... You cant just buy greatness everywhere... Resource allocation is a real thing. If you're going to pay Tua that contract, it needs to help you save somewhere... He gets the ball out quick, protection time needed reduced, thus cheaper OL required... We're not building a rocket here.
