    Thanks for the tour Dave. I hear out of London some riders are finding it hard to get work done on their bikes because of a labour shortage.

    Nice job on the mods, looking forward to the green CT 125 getting here in the States. One thing I really think would be great would be the return of the duel range transmission, they sure were nice on my old CT 90s. Happy motorbiking.

      Hi James, Yeah the dual range was great, but I'm still very happy and the bike copes with most things I do with it. Rubber side down....

    that kick starter used to annoy me big time but I just took it off and keep it in the box on the back , its quite easy to clutch start these bikes but I still have it in box if needed . I like that gear indicator , did you put it on or do the the 2023 bikes have it now.

    • @davexs
      @davexs  Год назад

      I did consider removing the kick start, but seems ok in the relocated place. Good to know about bump/clutch start. I put the gear indicator on myself. Readily available in Thailand!!!

    Dave thanks for the video, do you have a link for the top box please. It looks like a good intermediate size for the bike.

      Not sure this the exact box I bought, there are a lot on this sight. Mine is 42litre.

    Good-looking motor. Is yours the same colour, Dave? The heel shift is something I can't get on with on Waves.

    • @davexs
      @davexs  Год назад +1

      Yeah mines the same colour.
      The heal shift might be useful if changing down is restricted, on a trail, in any way and you can't get your boot under the front shifter.....I do use my toe a lot more than the heal!!!!

    I feel like I need to let you know, that the big box you installed on the back of her bike, might lead to her having an accident if you ride in the mountain terrain with those somewhat steep cement narrow roads. I say this because I have a RUclips channel: Lazy Dog Productions: that our little group of riders called CT Riders of Chiang Mai post most of our rides on. If you go to my channel and watch the last two videos, you'll see what I mean by "having an accident" The lady in our group and her husband both "had" those boxes on the back of their CT's and she flipped hers over backward on a trip we made to do merit for a village in the mountains. I really think you should watch those two videos and see what happened and what we eventually did to make sure it doesn't happen again. Have a safe day on your next ride.......

      I live in Thailand where these bikes and monkeys are very popular. There is a raft of spares available here. No help to you I know, but you could try a company called WeBike. I think they are Japanese and eliver world wide. I bought mine for about 20 quid on a Thai site called Lazada. The guy I bought it from has no more available, but there are plenty of other. I'll have a search see if I can find a link of some sort.

      Found this not quite the same as mine but mine was CT125 specific, these are for monkey, dax and CT125.
