I have been hashtagging my photos with the what's in the night sky # and didn't even realize that there is a contest. I'm going to try my best this month to come up with something awesome I'm working with a skywatcher star adventurer a Canon Rebel t7i a 70 to 300 millimeter lens an 18 to 55 4.56 lens and a nifty fifty. Clear skies and good luck

It truly would be awesome to see the red glow around the Earth during the lunar eclipse. I also hope that no one views the eclipse while floating lost in the Pacific Ocean... your comment made me laugh out loud! Looks as though we're on the edge of the eclipse, again -- but that never stops us from photographing what we can, and watching the rest as it occurs on RUclips. It seems as though Northern Ontario, Canada, only gets the full eclipses when it's the middle of winter and forty degrees Celsius below zero (that's what is was the *last* time we photographed it!) Our mission this year is to see, and hopefully photograph the noctilucent clouds. We had been observing them with increasing frequency in this part of the world for the past six or seven years, but we did not know what they were until we watched your video on them. Thank you for giving us new reasons every month to go out and explore the night sky!

That tower is the TV Tower in Alexanderplatz, Berlin. Locals refer to it as The Pope's Revenge as it was built during the communist occupation of East Berlin and whenever the sun shines there is that cross on it. Beautiful shot of the moon rising behind it though.

    Signs in the sky
These are signs in the heavens, also Very dangerous and heartbreaking times we live in. Make no mistake Jesus said these prophetic events would happen before his return. Only He can bring ultimate peace
    (Matthew 24, Luke 21, Mark 13.)
We're living in the last days. If you don't know Jesus as your Lord & savior👉 today is the day.
Jesus loves you🙂 and died on the cross for your sins and mine. He rose the 3rd day so we could have a relationship with him and have life even after we die. Pray to Jesus Christ and
Trust Him He will not let you down!
God bless each and every one of you
🩸LIVE FOR GOD BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU🩸
If you declare that Jesus is Lord, and believe that God brought him back to life, you will be saved. By believing you receive God’s approval, and by declaring your faith you are saved.
    Romans 10:9‭-‬10

The Eta Aquariid meteor shower this morning in Melbourne Australia was a no show. I got up between 3-5am and the sky was mostly clear for that time. I was looking broadly in the North-East with a wide view and did not see even one bright meteor in the 2 hour period. I thought maybe I caught some quick faded flashes but so fleeting it was hard to be sure. This was so dissappointing as most meteor showers tend to favour the Northern Hemisphere and when an event does come along where the Southern Hemispehere is favoured, it is usually cloudy or raining. Last night was neither and it was basically a no show.
