The neo is only better for the cpu and latency so the 2022 helios 300 is better if you find a good deal with the 3070ti

And about rtx you can go with 4060 you will get moster performance still not better the rtx 3070ti tho. But who cares wait for Acer 2024 then cpu will run on 4.2GHz normal and 6GHz at trubo.
I got one a few days ago and it is the best device I have ever owned.

@@Patrick-ev5ye I owned the neo 16 rtx 4060 one, you need to full max speed the fans for gaming or for demanding applications. If you want a quite laptop don't choose this one

I got huge deal for my Acer Predator Helios 16” 240Hz display with RTX 4080 and 13th gen Intel i9 13900HX, 16GB RAM, and 1TB ssd, all that for $1700 because it was $700 off, and its a BEAST. GTA V on my 8K TV with maximun settings and the resolution set at 8K at 60Hz works smoothly probably at 60fps. I love it

Predator Helios Neo 16 ☆☆☆☆½'s 1200 out the door. Came with a really nice carrying case in the box, stickers, the plug in's. The extra carrying case was a surprise. Very cool Laptop. Battery Life 8 hours, the settings can save battery life, if you're gaming you are looking at 3-4 hours of battery, especially if you choose the fans to be running constantly.
i dont know, i liked more the desing lines that predator triton 300 - 500 had. Only desing change on triton 500 i"d do its making the keyboard pannel removable to access internals easily. I actually agree winth having critical heat components facing up.
just got mine, loving it!
Now like 6 months later its still the best laptop i’ve ever seen

Thats normal. Most gaming laptops wont really use their full power on battery mode to preserve power and not overwork itself. Its recommended to only game while charged. On battery mode youre better off just doing anything else besides gaming.
You’re only suppose to use this gaming laptop in battery mode doing simple stuff like not demanding tasks.. you’ll have to use this plugged in while gaming…

Good laptop but not really Rog level. An Rog laptop of the same price will have a more premium looking display. Albeit the thinner bezels along with better components for cooling and general build quality saying this confidently because I have owned both

Depends on what you are using it for. M2 pro would have more raw power if I remember but this one can actually play games.
I was supposed to buy an iMac M3 but my work required a windows pc and the hotkeys from windows migrating to a mac os hotkey on keyboard is gonna make my brain rot away so I just decided to buy a gaming laptop that is the same price of the iMac M3 😅 I wish Apple would make a gaming macbook or iMac someday with compatibility with triple AAA games because they are better in every way.. it’s just like I want a work and gaming computer that suits my lifestyle
