A wonderful actress and a genuinely lovely lady. She had a superb screen presence and comic timing which was second to none. If there's a Crossroads motel in heaven, Noele would be running it. Thanks for the memories Miss Gordon ❤ 😊

Watching this eloquent and committed actress talk about her show it is heartbreaking to recall how disgracefully she was treated by ATV a few years later. l only ever saw a handful of episodes of Crossroads, but that was enough to realise she was the heart of the programme. It must have been devastating for her to be sacked, then to pick up her career and carry on after such a public humiliation. RIP Noele.

A brilliant actress and a genuinely nice lady. One of my brothers was a regular viewer of Crossroads and always looked forward to watching her create the legendary character of Meg Mortimer. It's hard to overestimate what a fixture she was on our screens back then. Goodbye Nolly ❤ 😊
