All 3 original Killzone games have the option to change the controls to aim with the triggers. Killzone 1 lets you do this by changing each button command, Killzone 2 has an alternate control scheme which let's you aim and fire with L1 and R1 and changes melee to R3, and Killzone 3 has the same alternate controls but also lets you swap R1 with R2 and L1 with L2.
The fact these games aren't all backwards compatible is a crime. Sony has completely forgotten about these games. Anyways here's another Horizon remaster. (Same studio btw)
My ranking: 1. Killzone 2(Decent story and multiplayer as exceptional graphics and atmosphere) 2. Killzone 3(Decent story and multiplayer again and good graphics but didnt have the same feeling of darkness and misery as kz2) 3. Killzone Shadowfall( Exceptional graphics and very good multiplayer, yet the campaign was underwelming) 4. Killzone Mercenaries( Very decent campaign and multiplayer) 5. Killzone 1( Dark atmosphere and good praphics for the time but nowdays is a little outdated and the multiplayer was mediocre as well as the campaign) 6. Killzone Liberation( This is the game just didnt find out as interesting as the others. Wasnt bad it just wasnt good in my opinion.)
Only Killzone game I ever played was 3 at a sleepover back in the day. I ended up staying up all night playing it online while all my friends were sleeping. I remember the visuals and sound being very nice with some super satisfying gunplay. While watching this video I was very impressed by the graphics of Killzone 1 though, this has to be up there as one of the most impressive looking PS2 games.
I love the Killzone series. I have 2 and 3 for my ps3 and also have Shadowfall for the ps4(Shadowfall is terrible). Sony needs to bring back this series one way or another especially the first three or make a new one with the old games feel and in the same vein as the first three. Hahka and Luger were really cool characters and they were barely mentioned if any after the first one.
They will 100% not bring back killzone genius. Killzone devs are guerilla games which made horizon and have publicly announced they hatef killzone and disliked how sony pushed them for it. Good luck😂

100% play the trilogy. Sadly kz on ps2 lags pretty bad and well its difficult for us today to enjoy for obvious reasons. Trilogy on the ps3 is a musts

Yh it was weird how hakha and Luger were never in the sequels. I doubt Sony will bring killzone back, but one can hope 🤞
