Massive congratulations to both Alex and Toprak for keeping the battle fair and respectful. Toprak has shown incredible maturity here; he battled very hard with spent tires but never risked a fall. I know it'll be a very good year for him. Can't wait!

What a race! Lowes enjoyed it more than Toprak in the end because he ended on top... Fantastic to watch.
Lowes supported by the power of Kawasaki which in some sector he could over take Toprak. But Toprak also fight with Yamaha's speed corner maximally.
Watch fight side by side hopely in every race.

Excellent battling here for P2. Absolutely loved that one pass from Redding where he took a tighter line and just 2 wheel slid into place and kept going. Astounding riding here. Way more entertaining than watching MM in MotoGP run people off track.

I wish SBK could be like it was in the ‘golden years’ with characters like Fogarty, Corser, Slight, Crafar.
Back then it was so much more exciting than the GP 500 with doohan winning every single race.

So competitive? How do you work that out? It's a "follow Rae" year again. WSBK will probably delete this comment as they did my first but the truth is that WSBK is nowhere near as good as the Foggy / Slight / Chili days. Hopefully Redding can bring some sparkle into the sport and fight with Johnny. (As long as he makes the right tyre choices.)

At 5:22, Toprac swerving across and taking the braking space from Lowes is the same kind of dangerous move that caused the Zarco-Morbidelli-Rossi-Vinales incident in Austria.

I’m new to SBK but I’ve realized Rea is obviously ina league of his own not the first race I’ve seen him way in first while everyone picks up scraps what a rider and cheers to 100 victories
Damn, is it only me or these WSBK riders ride aggressively and lean deeper compared to MotoGP, or is it only the camera work?
WSBK bikes can only lean upto 51⁰ angle
While Moto GP bikes can lean 65⁰ angle
