She mentioned she bought it a year ago and wore it only twice thn for sure any silver jewellery will oxidise. Here are some tips which slows or delays the process: Don't store two or more silver jewellery together use seperate boxes or packets and also don't store them in metal boxes. Check them regularly and you can use toothpaste to clean them in initial stages. And if anyone claims ki hmara to nhi hua black thn for sure girl its fake or mixed because silver ki property hai oxidise hone ki vo hoga hi.
I was wearing silver pendant in silver chain daily (for 2 months) and it's color got changed. It's not looking good now... I have tried to clean it but no improvement.
It happens with silver. I don't know much but it reacts with oxygen and moisture i think. But some of my friends wear silver kada everyday like 24/7 from their childhood it has oxidised a bit but not blackened. I think if you clean them daily it can be saved. Idk. I complained on a call, and they said to share the pictures via email, and I never got their reply. After trying for a month, I stopped trying. It's a Scam.
yes it is a scam. I ordered giva earrings from mynta and they were defected.But no one took any responsibility . I visited the store and they said they cant do anything is it was bought from Myntra. So why the hell the sell things on different platforms when they dont take any responsibility

But if any jewellery is not made of complete silver , just has only silver plating then it will blacken as the plating goes off due to use

Yes silver does oxidised but not that early. It really depends on the quality of the silver as well . I have silver chain and a pendant from pandora showroom . I wear it on special occasions and then store it . I have it since an year now and it has not yet got oxidised. Similarly my mom got herself a silver bracelet from a renowned jewelry shop in my area 2 years ago and its still in good condition. Giva really need to improve its quality. The products are expensive as compared to silver rates and we're not getting high quality silver here .
Giva is a scam...i bought an anklet from giva and wore it occasionally.only 2-3 time ..but few days i was wearing it and it broke....called customer care but very bad response from them
To Anushka ad mein kyu bolti hai ki ye kala nahi padega. Please watch that ad to know this brand's false claims. And Anushka is also responsible for taking money without verification. Both the brand and Anushka must be sued. My silver bangle too blackened on storage after one time use. And its customer service is horrible. Also, it doesn't show making charges of silver jewellery meaning its such a scam.
My giva silver ring broke and they refused to fix it nor they are ready to exchange, and now the ring is a total waste, the cost was around 2500.. I have decided I will never buy anything from this scam company. And I also urge others not to buy anything from them if you want to save your hard earned money!
Very bad customer care. I went to their store (JM Road ,Pune branch) recently to buy gift for my sister. The first thing i heard from inside the store was someeone shouting,,"Shoes!!! Take off your shoes" i had a bag & few other things in my hand. I struggled to remove my shoes. The sales girl,, Chitra, was disinterested & was reluctant to show me the jewellery. Overall it was a bad experience . I told her so & she said,, you can call customer care & tell them! Never going back there again
Atleast yours got blacl after 1 year. Mine got black within a week. Two items. Then when i notified them regarding this, they told while packing fake item must have got shipped or something- which absolutely dint make any sense and not a single word on replacement or refund and dint even responded later. That was my first and last time to buy something from them.

My giva necklace is so perfect I was in 3rd yr mbbs when I got it n literally I used to wear it daily and don't even remove it while taking a bath. Today m already a dr and still it looks good and brand new.
I have had a good experience from Giva. When my rose gold chain was oxidised, I visited store and they did the plating again for free. They are pretty expensive but their service is good. The products get oxidised due to its nature so if you keep wearing it or give it for plating again it will look new and pretty

Clean it with warm water mixed with salt.. you can use any cloth ,dip it in salt mixed warm water and rub, the more you rub the cleaner it gets and gets the bling back . Tarnish is Just Pure Silver thing
People are saying that silver turns black but our anklets don't get black that soon. Only after wearing a year or so. Even if we keep those in storage they don't turn black that soon

Silver does get black over time doesn't matter where you get it from. There are so many advantages of wearing silver for instance you won't get any allergic reactions from it as you usually can get from fake metal jewellery.
Well, you shouldnt keep silver or any jewellery in the velvet box they give. It should be kept in zip lock pouch so that it has no contact with air wrapped in the pink pages ( these days come in different colour as well) jewellery paper that they give with it. If there is any stone studded, some of the minerals(stones) react with air and thus can form products that react with the metal frame. Secondly, any kind of plating, gold( for golden sheen) or rhodium ( for bright silver sheen) is going to fade over time and needs regular replating and hence such pieces are recommended not to be worn on daily basis, and yet after a few years they require replating. Keep your expectations real because the metal ( or mineral stone if you buy)is not going to change its nature for you.
Giva jewellery does lose its original colour and lustre after some time, even if you keep it carefully. It happened with all my jewellery pieces too. But I don't know if it's happening because of less purity of metal or because I wore it in sultry summer days. But definitely it's just a propaganda saying that it never turns black. And yes, the sterling silver jewellery (my bracelets and anklets) has never turned black although those pieces are years old! And those are from my local jeweler that I bought at much cheaper price! 😂 Giva charges for its brand name (not as per the weight of silver). Lol Just as per their designs or whatever they like. So it's all up to you whether you want to buy from them or not. 😅

NO. IT'S NOT A SCAM Silver tends to react differently on different skin. I have been using their silver nose ring for a year now. Of course I wash my face frequently and having them for almost a year now, the color hasn't faded even 1%. It's still perfect. So definitely giva's products r too good
I own giva gold plated earrings, I have used them more than 30 times and few times even taken a shower while still wearing them. But the quality is still intact. It hasn't faded a bit. I think there is a difference in quality in the gold plated and the rose gold or platinum plated. I would say, if you wanna go for Giva, go for the gold plated ones.
That’s really useful information. All the Giva jewelry I have is silver-colored, and they've all faded. You make a good point-I should consider trying the rose gold or gold options.
@@somsiyadav ya do give it a try, and one more thing I wanted to mention is, coming from a gold smith family and in our family it is said that the healthier you are are and cleaner the blood is, the gold wil take longer to fade. Gold by nature has purifying properties, so it wil try get rid of bodily impurities and will fade faster if incase the person has more impurities in the blood.
It’s a basic natural metal changes or I would say reaction type of factors for example: with the silver metal having kept with velvet type of cloths or silver metal bars kept inside safe lockers

It's silver and silver will oxidise no matter how expensive it is. I'd would suggest to buy a silver polish instead of wasting money on getting it polished again and again
Guys please, I’ve a Giva pendant, which I’ve been wearing daily for more than 2 years, it’s perfectly new. The more you wear silver, the lesser will it stain. It’s common sense
Hey u can clean it with toothpaste ( preferably white colgate ) inly pea size amount is enough. Just rub toothpaste paste all over the ring and wash it off with water .
Mostly this rose gold jewellery from GIVA turns black. I also bought earring and after one use only it turned black but it was under exchange time period so I exchanged from store. I asked salesman the reason and he told me that all the rose gold polished jewelleries have issues. but silver coloured are fine. Yes they provide lifetime free polishing from store but whats the point if we cannot resell it or exchange it for lifetime from GIVA. I would suggest to purchase AD artificial jwelleries instead of going for GIVA.
price wise its expensive but silver will blacken due to various reason even body heat can blacken the silver. i love silver jewels but my body heat make it blacken within few days itself.
Giva is a big scam, ordered a name chain which broke on the first use. Upon asking for repair I came to know that repairing is not possible. And the same thing happened with my other two expensive ear pieces. Now who has time to go through all the plating procedures and follow up after single use.
Please clean the silver jewellery...Soak it in lemon water half an hour or 45 mins...Then apply toothpaste and then with a toothbrush just rug it properly and rinse...it will shine as new..and if u wear it regularly..this wont happen
Bro it depends on the skin type also...I'm wearing a giva necklace for last 2 yrs( i wear it always ) and it didn't turn black even once..that's because of my skin type...but in many other skin type silver turns black really fast and that's literally nothing...you can just clean it up
You can get same design in your local jwellery shop just show them the design you like and they will make the same , these types of rings are available under 5000_6000
Unfortunately, I don’t agree that Giva is a scam. My ring is in a perfect condition ever after one year of purchase. If you wear it everyday, nothing is going to happen to it.
GIVA IS FOR A SURE A SCAM. i have ordered quite a few products from them and all got tarnished, broken in just 3 months despite of taking good care of them.
I have multiple jewellery items of giva and used it multiple times. Fortunately all my pieces are as good as new. Here is one trick.. always keep your silver jewellery in a small plastic ziplock pouch.

Silver will get blackened over the time because of oxidation. It shows they are using real silver. But overall I find their jwellery exoensive and too delicate.
Silver jewellery oxidizes... The more pure it is, the sooner it will oxidize and loose it's shine and color. If it is not oxidising, then the jewellery I not silver. Since giva claims that they use sterling silver, which means the alloy has a 92.5% of silver, that is the maximum any jewellery can have... You can be sure that is going to oxidize or blacken. Giva is offering a free * polishing, that is a good deal.
Same thing happened With me. I didn't even wear it once and it turned black within 2 months. When i told them they took the earrings and offered me a new piece but then said it's out of stock and redunded me in their wallet. My 1800/- are still in the wallet because i dont want to get anything from them again. I even started hating these giva ads so much since then.
I bought stuff work 13-14 k and only used a chain and kept the rest. I had literally paid 2X price for the silver as they said it won't turn black. Well... it turned dull pretty quality (2-3 months of regular use) and when complained they literally said "Silver hai to kaala to padega he". IT SURELY IS A SCAM NOT JUST JIVA BUT OTHER OPTIONS TOO.
I thought they were selling sterling silver but it's not, I've been wearing my silver jewellery from a jweller for 3 years straight without ever taking it off and it has never tarnished because it is real silver. Giva is trash. My giva pendant got tarnished within a few months.

Yes I do accept it... I ordered one nd used it regularly then this turned black, then I ordered some other ring same in silver colour that I don't use frequently but still turned out black, then I ordered gold plated one, the colour diminished after 7wash
I use giva ring and use it regularly and im not facing this issues.... As u mentioned you kept it for a while and due to not getting regular used it may happen just same thing happened with my friend. So yesh
If you don't know about jewelry don't buy and then complain, its called oxidisation there is nothing SHOCKING like you suggested it's normal if you want to polish just get some tooth powder take a bunch of thread knot one side on window grill add toothpowder I use colgate😅 and rub the jewelry that is what jewelers do, electroplating is a fancy way of doing the same without putting effort.
The same happened to me too.. I wore the ring only two to three times and after one year when I opened the box in which I had kept it safely it had turned all black and lost all the shine. My other silver items which are even 5to 6 years old are as good today too but I don't know what material it's made up of

Sivler toh rakhe rakhe bhi oxides ho jata h bina use kiye bhi toh there is nothing wrong in that you can easily clean it using lemon and salt

Maam if its pure silver it will get black/grey due to oxidation. You need gilet which comes in 10 rupee but shines till several years
Silver does get black over time doesn't matter where you get it from. There are so many advantages of wearing silver for instance you won't get any allergic reactions from it as you usually can get from fake metal jewellery.
Well, you shouldnt keep silver or any jewellery in the velvet box they give. It should be kept in zip lock pouch so that it has no contact with air wrapped in the pink pages ( these days come in different colour as well) jewellery paper that they give with it. If there is any stone studded, some of the minerals(stones) react with air and thus can form products that react with the metal frame. Secondly, any kind of plating, gold( for golden sheen) or rhodium ( for bright silver sheen) is going to fade over time and needs regular replating and hence such pieces are recommended not to be worn on daily basis, and yet after a few years they require replating.
Keep your expectations real because the metal ( or mineral stone if you buy)is not going to change its nature for you.
Giva jewellery does lose its original colour and lustre after some time, even if you keep it carefully. It happened with all my jewellery pieces too. But I don't know if it's happening because of less purity of metal or because I wore it in sultry summer days. But definitely it's just a propaganda saying that it never turns black. And yes, the sterling silver jewellery (my bracelets and anklets) has never turned black although those pieces are years old! And those are from my local jeweler that I bought at much cheaper price! 😂 Giva charges for its brand name (not as per the weight of silver). Lol Just as per their designs or whatever they like. So it's all up to you whether you want to buy from them or not. 😅
I too bought a ring from giva the stones started falling after use of 2-3 times
The stone is fixed not stick so if the fixed sport get damage the stone will fall automatically

Silver tends to react differently on different skin.
I have been using their silver nose ring for a year now.
Of course I wash my face frequently and having them for almost a year now, the color hasn't faded even 1%.
It's still perfect.
So definitely giva's products r too good
But I wore it only once or twice so I don't think it's about silver reacting with my skin.
I booked a pendant from giva and I am using it on frequent basis and still the shine is intact. I bit expensive but love the quality.
I own giva gold plated earrings, I have used them more than 30 times and few times even taken a shower while still wearing them. But the quality is still intact. It hasn't faded a bit. I think there is a difference in quality in the gold plated and the rose gold or platinum plated. I would say, if you wanna go for Giva, go for the gold plated ones.
That’s really useful information. All the Giva jewelry I have is silver-colored, and they've all faded. You make a good point-I should consider trying the rose gold or gold options.
@@somsiyadav ya do give it a try, and one more thing I wanted to mention is, coming from a gold smith family and in our family it is said that the healthier you are are and cleaner the blood is, the gold wil take longer to fade. Gold by nature has purifying properties, so it wil try get rid of bodily impurities and will fade faster if incase the person has more impurities in the blood.
It’s a basic natural metal changes or I would say reaction type of factors for example: with the silver metal having kept with velvet type of cloths or silver metal bars kept inside safe lockers

It's silver and silver will oxidise no matter how expensive it is. I'd would suggest to buy a silver polish instead of wasting money on getting it polished again and again
Guys please, I’ve a Giva pendant, which I’ve been wearing daily for more than 2 years, it’s perfectly new. The more you wear silver, the lesser will it stain. It’s common sense

Hey u can clean it with toothpaste ( preferably white colgate ) inly pea size amount is enough. Just rub toothpaste paste all over the ring and wash it off with water .
Mostly this rose gold jewellery from GIVA turns black. I also bought earring and after one use only it turned black but it was under exchange time period so I exchanged from store. I asked salesman the reason and he told me that all the rose gold polished jewelleries have issues. but silver coloured are fine. Yes they provide lifetime free polishing from store but whats the point if we cannot resell it or exchange it for lifetime from GIVA. I would suggest to purchase AD artificial jwelleries instead of going for GIVA.
price wise its expensive but silver will blacken due to various reason even body heat can blacken the silver. i love silver jewels but my body heat make it blacken within few days itself.
Giva is a big scam, ordered a name chain which broke on the first use. Upon asking for repair I came to know that repairing is not possible. And the same thing happened with my other two expensive ear pieces. Now who has time to go through all the plating procedures and follow up after single use.
Please clean the silver jewellery...Soak it in lemon water half an hour or 45 mins...Then apply toothpaste and then with a toothbrush just rug it properly and rinse...it will shine as new..and if u wear it regularly..this wont happen

Bro it depends on the skin type also...I'm wearing a giva necklace for last 2 yrs( i wear it always ) and it didn't turn black even once..that's because of my skin type...but in many other skin type silver turns black really fast and that's literally nothing...you can just clean it up

Unfortunately, I don’t agree that Giva is a scam. My ring is in a perfect condition ever after one year of purchase. If you wear it everyday, nothing is going to happen to it.
It's absolutely normal with silver. Just use toothpaste to clean silver jewellery or silver utensils.
GIVA IS FOR A SURE A SCAM. i have ordered quite a few products from them and all got tarnished, broken in just 3 months despite of taking good care of them.
I have multiple jewellery items of giva and used it multiple times. Fortunately all my pieces are as good as new. Here is one trick.. always keep your silver jewellery in a small plastic ziplock pouch.

I has brought rosegold plating pendent chain and earring...the chain got tarnished in just 3hrs of wearing it...actually if its so expensive then they have to put a layer or resin to save it from tarnishing...
Silver will get blackened over the time because of oxidation. It shows they are using real silver. But overall I find their jwellery exoensive and too delicate.
Silver jewellery oxidizes... The more pure it is, the sooner it will oxidize and loose it's shine and color. If it is not oxidising, then the jewellery I not silver. Since giva claims that they use sterling silver, which means the alloy has a 92.5% of silver, that is the maximum any jewellery can have... You can be sure that is going to oxidize or blacken. Giva is offering a free * polishing, that is a good deal.
Use colgate powder to clean your silver jewellery. It works like magic for silver jewellery

Same thing happened With me. I didn't even wear it once and it turned black within 2 months. When i told them they took the earrings and offered me a new piece but then said it's out of stock and redunded me in their wallet. My 1800/- are still in the wallet because i dont want to get anything from them again. I even started hating these giva ads so much since then.
I bought stuff work 13-14 k and only used a chain and kept the rest. I had literally paid 2X price for the silver as they said it won't turn black. Well... it turned dull pretty quality (2-3 months of regular use) and when complained they literally said "Silver hai to kaala to padega he". IT SURELY IS A SCAM NOT JUST JIVA BUT OTHER OPTIONS TOO.
I thought they were selling sterling silver but it's not, I've been wearing my silver jewellery from a jweller for 3 years straight without ever taking it off and it has never tarnished because it is real silver. Giva is trash. My giva pendant got tarnished within a few months.

If you don't know about jewelry don't buy and then complain, its called oxidisation there is nothing SHOCKING like you suggested it's normal if you want to polish just get some tooth powder take a bunch of thread knot one side on window grill add toothpowder I use colgate😅 and rub the jewelry that is what jewelers do, electroplating is a fancy way of doing the same without putting effort.
And if you haven't watched Anushka saying its silver doesn't blacken, don't comment.
